I love enterprise. I use them almost everytime I travel. This branch however has completely turned me off as a customer. How do you allow for reservations when no vehicles are actually available. How do you have vehicles parked outside and have the nerve to tell me "they aren't available". I had a recent accident with my daily car, therefore I needed to call and report this with the police, and I even managed to find a rental car, which is why I came to Enterprise. I had to pass by 3 DIFFERENT locations to find ONE car for about a week while my daily car was getting worked on. Not only did the woman (Renee) in the front help us very little, but she was rude over the phone when we called and asked for a SUV vehicle and when we got to the physical location, the same woman had given the car that she "saved" for us to another person that came in a few minutes before we had gotten there. At this point, it was very disappointing to hear that since we have gone to 3 other locations and the same thing had occurred once again. We had to wait another 20-30 minutes inside their center to wait for an employee to pick up more cars to "find" us a similar car that I had requested. It would've been easier if we were advised to come back the next day to pick up another car, so that we wouldn't have to wait more time when we had already called their center for this situation. I don't understand what was the point of calling when no one actually helps you. Hopefully Enterprise services can get better soon, but be aware when you make your next call to any of these rental car centers! I wouldn't waste my time writing a review for nothing, so do your research before you waste YOUR time to call and hope for some help. read more

Be careful with they can bill you without notice. Otherwise problems with the rental were caused by Geico's cost cutting policies.

We just rented a car from this location. My wife and I would like to compliment Jeremy from this University Dr. Sunrise location. He was very knowledgeable and super helpful. Enterprise should be very lucky to have someone so professional as well as friendly and willing to go out of their way to help a customer. I know it is a small location but the service makes up for the location. It is super handy and centrally located. Also I felt very safe as everyone was wearing masks and the rental deal was made outside. I would highly recommend this location. Kudos to Jeremy and Enterprise. read more

Started renting from Enterprise since its close to my home and the prices are slightly more competitive than the national brands. Looking back, Enterprise specializes in rental car / insurance claim reimbursement which likely explains the carefree / less than satisfactory experience. I rented a truck for a week. After the week expired, I called in to see how much it would be for one more week. I was quoted a price, went to the location and gave them a credit card to run the transaction for an additional week. When I turned the vehicle in a week later, I get the run around telling me the price is higher because of the original contract rate. When I explained that I was quoted a lower price to extend and in fact that you the manager had charged me the precise amount on my credit card for the additional week, he refused to make the adjustment. As I was leaving I said do not e-mail me the reciept because I do not agree with the charges. He replied, "ok, perfect." Later on I took things up with customer service that ensured me a regional manager / vice president would get back to me in 3-5 days. A week later, no call. I decided to investigate matters further and discovered that my reservation/contract was completely deleted from the system and did not get the points added to my Plus account. The customer service rep was baffled. Not having the time, nor patience to deal with the issue, I submitted a dispute with my credit card and got my money back. Also, I specifically told the manager to charge the additional fees to my AMEX and took it from my debit card deposit. Finally, the wait time can be excruciating long. I had to wait two hours for my vehicle and ended being taken to another location. Turning in the vehicle the same, can easily wait 20-30 minutes. If you value your time and money, go somewhere else. In the future I will rent from Budget. No wait times, key in the car when you get there, discounts/no-haggle experience in extending the reservation, supreme customer service. By the way, if you get in an accident, you don't have to use Enterprise. Your adjuster may try to persuade you because of their preferred rates, but you can decide where to rent your car while its being repaired, especially if you were not at fault. Good luck! read more

Although, they were accommodating at first, everything turned into a disaster. upon planning a vacation, I needed to rent a mini-van. Enterprise had a Chrysler Pacifica, it fit my needs. I spoke to the office in Sunrise and they informed me they would have one available for my dates needed. My husband drove over to see it and make the initial rental agreement. We both went on Friday to confirm and book the dates, with again a promise that they would have it. As we were to leave on Sunday, my husband went to pick it up on Saturday before they closed. He was informed that they didn't have a Pacifica available but would give him a compatible car. A Dodge Journey SUV. I came home from work and was very angry as we cannot travel in this. I own an SUV, I need a mini van. The office is closed until Monday, I call Enterprise at Ft Lauderdale Airport, tell them what happened and was told they had one available and to drive there and they would exchange it. When we got to Enterprise, the woman at the desk was very unfriendly and not helpful. She would not help us stating that the contract was with another office and. Allen to bring the Journey back to us. She was completely stiff and didn't offer an apology. Our vacation plans have had to be canceled and rearranged until I find a mini can. I've been waiting for an hour to get my rental. 6 people ahead of me. One representative at the desk. Another person ahead of me is here for 2 hours. AND!, what's with their motto 'we come to you' ? When I called and asked for them to pick me up they said they don't do that. NO STARS! Never again. I've rented from Enterprise many times over the years airports and non airport locations. NEVER EVER had it taken more than a few minutes. I see other reviews about this location where Enterprise has replied but they obviously don't give a damned because this continues to be a problem here. They have 3 positions are the desk. Regularly, They let you reserve a vehicle that they don't have and have to wait hours or more to get something. I reserved this past weekend and they called me to tell me they didn't have anything and would call me when something came in. Decided to go with Enterprise to rent a Car to take my Family to my aunts house in Naples (about 1.5 hours away from Ft. Lauderdale) Made my reservation online, paid and printed out a receipt telling me that my rental will be ready at 6pm, Perfect right?... Boy was I wrong.... I get there with my confirmation print out thinking ok they have to verify who I am maybe put something in their system and I'm all good to go, I mean we've all seen the commercials that enterprise you can just pick a car from the lot and go right? well not this place. So a very friendly Brian helps me with my rental, I give him my reservation # but I guess it didn't mean anything because we had to go through the whole entire process again in the counter.... he took my ID and Credit card and ask me what kind of car I wanted... I explained to him, its all in my reservation I'm just picking up, which didn't matter to him, he still had to go through the while rental process again.... great, its now almost 7pm and I don't have a rental, back to the rental process, somehow I had a balance on my account of $4 something that had to be paid.. ok fine add it to my rental cost, now comes insurance, Friendly Brian tried very hard to sell me this insurance even thought I explained to him that I was insured and that my Credit card also covers rental accidents, I DECLINED. So now an upset Brian tells me to wait that they are bringing the car from another location for me... so I wait, 7:30 comes around and I'm now getting upset that this process is taking this damn long and they can tell I'm upset, to which they do nothing about. Finally the car gets here and we go inspect it to make sure that theres no damages or scratches, normal procedure and then we check the gas and its a hair over 3/4 full, and Brian... oh friendly Brian tries to make me feel better that by giving me the hair line of gas and tells me "That's on me... lets just call it 3/4, enjoy the free gas" and thinks everything is great, but I just wanted to tell him that this was the worst service I have ever got from any company. I sign the contract... grab the keys... and I'm on my way... 2 days later I bring the car back, thinking just drop it off and Im out of here, but once again I was WRONG OHHHH SO WRONG. I bring the car back, clean, no damage, and filled with gas, so a nice lady in the counter helps me check it in, everything was good, so I was just waiting for my receipt so I could go... but when we get back to the counter, she tells me your balance is 120 something... to which I'm thinking its the price of the rental, but she hands me my receipt and the 120 was added on top of my rental price, which came to a whopping 240 something.... I immediately turn around and ask her why my bill was this high my reservation was for 120 and change, why is it double now... and you know what she tells me? OH THATS THE INSURANCE CHARGES YOU ACCEPTED, and guess who happens to be next to her, who else but Friendly Brian, I explain to her that I declined this coverage over and over because Brian was trying so hard to sell it to me, and he comes over and he said oh yeah I remember you... you said you wanted the insurance I remember... ARE YOU FU*&#NG KIDDING ME, I was here 2 days ago renting the car, how do you not remember me DECLINING this coverage right to your face Brian???? ARE YOU CALLING ME A LIAR?? so I get on the phone with my credit card company to tell them to stop payment for enterprise, and I'm doing it right in front of their faces, so they huddle up and come back with a ohhh I'm sorry sir, give us a minute and we can refund your card for the amount charged. Rented from here again, only because of proximity to my home and my need to get to work since I just sold my vehicle and will not have my new one until this coming week. Before I give the negatives, AGAIN, I at least have to say that the friendly smile and fast service I receive from Antoine on both occasions is excellent! The other guy is still a pissy attitude mess. I reserved a compact car the Thursday night for Friday morning. I called for a pick up in the morning, and Antoine was able to get to me around 11am, which was fine as I just needed to have to vehicle to get to work at 645pm really. He informed me there were no compacts available, the little Fiat I had previously had not returned yet, but he had a small chevy suv he was putting me in for the same price as the compact, $14.99. so fine, it was just going to sit in the parking lot anyway. after I drove off and started messing with the mirrors adjustments, I noticed that once again, the vehicle was filthy, which was even more noticeable on this one because it is white. The gas was on 1/4 tank, so I added $5 just to make sure i didnt send it back in totally on empty, i didnt need much gas as i work only 4.5 miles away really and was just running a couple errands in the same 5 mile radius after work as I wait for this office to open at 9am so I can return the vehicle.. which I explained as soon as I returned it in the morning how it was given to me pretty much empty. This time, the inside was just as filthy as the outside. There was food in between the seats and stuck in the cup holders center console. Some type of sticky beverage residue left in the center console and cup holders, passenger seat and door panels had something white smeared on them. It was quite obvious the vehicle was not even vacuumed, much less exterior washed. Im not usually picky about a rental vehicle, but this was just gross thinking about how Im sitting in someone else's dirt and dinner. ICK! unfortunately, I will have to take my chances and rent from here again tomorrow because they wont do pick up from another office since this one is closest to me. I cant wait to get my new vehicle Tuesday so I dont have to rent here again. there are TWO car washes within 1 mile on the same street, provide authorization for this office to USE THEM ENTERPRISE CORPORATE, City of Sunrise does not allow car washing or maintenance in their retail plazas which you should have inquired about before setting up shop in one, just saying. read more

Worst rental car experience ever. Been a Business traveler for over 30 years. Used them for a vacation and they failed on every level. I'm now 90 day await some kind of response to no avail. Their great with Corporate catch phrases, like we sorry for you inconvenience, i Promise somebody will get right back to you. They have protection in place so that you can never get to upper management. We keep feeding you back to the same people who are making the same mistakes over and over again. This was the slowest process I've ever had to endure for a rental car. I rent from enterprise once a week at my home in PA and it takes about 4 minutes to walk out with a car. As I write this, we are going on minute 35 of waiting for a vehicle. The staff are friendly and polite but the process was borderline painful. After telephoning 1-800 and securing a contract on the phone, I went to pick up my rental. Vincent (who works at University and Sunrise store) tried 3 different ways to raise my rates and telling me the cost is $200 more. After correcting him 3 times (knowing I established a contract on the phone) kept saying "Oh, I will fix that (price)" like he was doing me a favor? And he said he would give us a free upgrade but I had already established that upgrade on the phone. He is rude and arrogant even calling us back seconds after they called us (different employee, same location) for a performance review, which was negative. How intimidating is he trying to be? I recently made a stop at this location to rent a car for a wedding in Tallahassee. As far as customer service and expectation, this by far has been the worst experience with Enterprise. I was prejudged before I was told that I could not rent from this location because of my residency in Miami. Not being able to rent from this location is not the reason for my disappointment, as it was the treatment received by Bryan Salkey, a management trainee. My questions were answered in a sarcastic demeanor and not once was the respect given to the worker reciprocated. It disappoints me to know that people/businesses will provide unworthy service based on perceived perception of the customer. I am not one to leave negative feedback, but if Enterprise looks forward to growth, the talent chosen to represent the company should be reconsidered at this location.
