We reserved a van around a month ago. Within the last week or so Vans were recalled nation wide. I would not have known if I didn't call and confirm that they had us down for a van on Tuesday for our Saturday pick up. My husband and my self have called for 3 days with no fix for this issue. The 1st offer was 2 cars. No not acceptable, waste of gas (reason for van), the only other option they could give us was a 5 seater SUV. Again No. We have 3 teenagers all 5'9 or larger, plus my husband and myself, and we are also extremely tall. No manager, no staff member took the time to call us. Each conversation about this was because we kept calling. If I would not have called Tuesday to confirm no one would have called. Stephanie wasnt helpful and said she would relay the message to mangers on Tuesday. Yesterday we were placed on hold multiple times with no answer. We spoke with customer service and still no answers. Today I spoke with Jess and she pretty much said well that's what we have to offer take it or leave it. And gave the excuse no one called because their managers were at a corporate meeting all week. Be warned that they have no customer service at the US HWY 41 location. And they couldn't even problem solve with any locations within an hour radius. We understand that things happen, but you weren't going to call us, so our vacation would have started off horribly if we had not taken the time to confirm earlier this week. read more

I visited your location in Terre Haute on Walbash Ave. The staff was exceptional and friendly. They had a thorough knowledge of the companys policy and provided all the answers to my questions. The manger was super friendly and made us feel at home. Sometimes people don't know how to provide comfort in business environments this was not the case at this store. Made a reservation with Enterprise for vacation out of town for a large family traveling together. The day of pick up was denied service because company wanted a majot credit card and not just a bank card for a premium vehicle. This wasnt discussed when reservation was made. There was no alternatives given to fix this mistake on the company side of things and we are not sesrching last minute for an alternative. The worst customer service I have ever encountered. I totaled my car a few weeks ago. The whole process was a mess and very stressful. Out of the whole process, enterprise was the only part that was simple and easy. They were helpful and kind during my tough time. I was even upgraded from what my insurance paid for. I've never had a problem with enterprise, as I have rented from them on several occasions. If I could give them a negative number I would. I was given enterprise rental through my insurance company. Renting the car was a smooth process, but once I received the car, it was appalling. The car was incredibly dirty. There were visible stains on the both the passenger and driver seats. The console was covered in dust. I have never rented a car so filthy. I called to ask if I could get another car because it was obviously not clean, I was told another car was not possible because of covid and they were not getting any cars back. They told me they would call if one did come back. They never called. When I was called for a customer satisfaction survey, I told them how unhappy I was and the supervisor Kassidy Evans, gave me a 20% discount for my next rental. When I tried to use the discount it was only good for their their location. When I called to see if I could get a discount company for a different location, I was told that they could not do it. When I asked to speak to the supervisor, she told that they could only extend the discount to either an Illinois or Kentucky area. She said she would try to see what she could do and would call back..... of course I never received a call. read more

First day they gave my car away and didn't have a replacement, second day the pick time at 9 and I left at 10 after no one showed up. My car got rear ended and needed repaired, while being repaired Enterprise provided me with a rental, they delivered to the repair shop and were helpful, however the vehicle was not in their "promised complete clean pledge". The vehicle smelt like cat urine and I was unable to drive the 80 minutes there and back to return it for a different vehicle due to work, so I had to drive a car smelling of urine for three weeks. I rented a grand caravan from out of state. I couldn't figure out how to close my rear windows so I stopped in to ask if they could help. A young man, I didn't catch his name but he had dark brown hair, he came out took the time to figure out how to close the windows and then made sure that I was ok with the rest of the systems in the car. This is one rest I always rent from enterprise. They care no matter where you are. read more

We came in on a Saturday as we had an appointment at 11:30 and they close at 12. They had one employee working who did not even greet the customers. (There were six of us waiting in the building to be seen.) One woman came in after us and was seen before us as she was returning a car. It didn't matter that we had been here for thirty minutes waiting, or that other people were there to return cars. Not to mention the place is completely dirty, the surfaces need to be cleaned and the floors vacuumed. The phone was ringing the whole time and I know there was another employee in the back who could have helped answer phones and deal with customers. The one employee working called another employee that was to be on site but was off doing something else saying "Where are you? We have a bunch of people waiting." I also couldn't get out of the parking lot because of how small it is, every spot was taken and people were simply parking wherever they could. This is not a proper way to run a business and I will not be back. read more
