We have taken the best care of it wanting it to last many years. In 2022 the paint started peeling off overnight in sheets on the top of the car. We took it to Toyota who told us they would fix it. They had the car 3-4 days and only repainted the very top of the car where the sunroof was. Last year the hood started peeling in the same way. I took the car to Scott's custom colors and he offered to paint it for $500. So I did the hood out of my own pocket. Now the back passenger door is peeling and I'm being quoted $2500.00 by several places to get this piece fixed. Toyota tells me the time limit for fixing this for them is up to this was a problem with the paint color blizzard pearl. It doesn't stick properly to the car. They have known about this issue for years. Many of their cars made before 2018 had this issue. Why didn't they paint the whole car when the issue began and I took it to them the first time or at the very least help me fix it now? I was told it would cost $10,000 to repaint my whole car. My car is basically ruined. Toyota has brushed me off. When I took the car in for them to take pictures, they told me they would get back to me within 2 weeks. They were going to check into fixing it. They never called and Fred the general manager of service never sent the pictures in. They arent interested in helping. We have bought 4 cars from Toyota of terre haute. This is the way they treat loyal customers. I like Toyotas but won't buy from this dealership again.

When I showed up at the dealership the next day, the process was smooth and efficient, and they gave me exactly what I expected for my trade in. Overall I had a phenomenal experience!

In hopes that my rental car does not fall apart, the A/C does not go out nor I find a dead body in the trunk, I am confident in my 4 Star Yelp review thus far. This Hertz is located behind the Honey Creek Mall in an auto store complex that is selling different brands of auto parts and services. They have a sign on the front of the building, so although they are doing other things in this location other than renting cars, this is where you will find Hertz. Now the Terre Haute fleet of Hertz Rent A Cars is small, so it is best to have made a reservation in advance. During busy times, like now with Memorial Day weekend, the Indy 500 and graduations, they might not have any cars for someone who is seeking a car just on the fly. With their limited fleet, they have to pull cars in from Indy or other markets and they are simply not here on sight. Anyway, I booked everything on-line, which was super simple. Also, I noted on-line that there was a message saying that Hertz could pick me up. A few days before my scheduled rental car pick up, I reached out for the pick up. Erin Murphy, the Branch Manager, could not have been more kind. She clearly explained that as long as I was within 15 minutes of pick up from their Hertz location, they would pick me up, bring me back to Hertz to complete all the paperwork and then I could be on my way. This was super helpful. In addition I was reflective of how her friendly manner and kind disposition added to my happiness. I have rented a basic four door Chevy Impala. Nothing cool going on with the car I was provided, but it will do the job and get me from A to B during my travels. But the experience of an easy booking, the option to have someone get me for the pick up of my car rental and Erin's customer service, I am extremely happy with my Hertz experience.

When we arrived at 11, they told me they only allowed a 2 hour window to pick it up. I received 2 email confirmations and a phone confirmation, none of which mentioned this time limit. The staff was very unfriendly and said "well it's on the website". Well, Hertz, you will not be getting my business in the future.

Professional, courteous and generally convinced me that THIS was the right place to buy my car. I'd never driven this type of vehicle, however, I had a sedan of the same maker. I live 2.5 hours away, so I made arrangements to go up and take a test drive. The General Manager assisted me initially, via email, then I worked with the Salesman, Kelly. They both greeted me upon arrival and I met the voice of the dealership as well. Lovely people. I drove it a few miles away. Parked and checked all of the bells and whistles. Fell in love immediately. Needless to say. Take the drive. This dealership is truly exceptional. All of the team members, from the receptionist, salesman, GM and financial officer. My husband and my self have called for 3 days with no fix for this issue. The 1st offer was 2 cars. No not acceptable, waste of gas (reason for van), the only other option they could give us was a 5 seater SUV. Again No. We have 3 teenagers all 5'9 or larger, plus my husband and myself, and we are also extremely tall. No manager, no staff member took the time to call us. Each conversation about this was because we kept calling. If I would not have called Tuesday to confirm no one would have called. Stephanie wasnt helpful and said she would relay the message to mangers on Tuesday. Yesterday we were placed on hold multiple times with no answer. We spoke with customer service and still no answers. Today I spoke with Jess and she pretty much said well that's what we have to offer take it or leave it. And gave the excuse no one called because their managers were at a corporate meeting all week. Be warned that they have no customer service at the US HWY 41 location. And they couldn't even problem solve with any locations within an hour radius. We understand that things happen, but you weren't going to call us, so our vacation would have started off horribly if we had not taken the time to confirm earlier this week.

Because this is the only two cars they have in the lot. Now this Enterprise is not quite that bad and has evolved and grown a bit over time, but I kind of personally think of it like this. Needed a rental car to head up north after being in Terre Haute to visit family near Chicago. Booked on-line, which is always easy. After hearing a ear full from a customer in the lobby ranting about a credit card hold or drivers license or something (come on folks, Enterprise is in the business of handing over a $20K+ valued car....understand the assignment and show up with a credit card and know they are going to put a hold on more than what you are paying), Jacob greets me kindly and ushers me outside. He gives me the gold colored Chevy Malibu, which is fine. I don't really care. We sit down inside real quick and not sure if that is smoke I smell or simply a bad cleaning job over the smoke smell. Maybe its not that bad. Jacob notices it as well. He offered to find another car, but I pass and say that its OK. This was my mistake. The smoke smell over many days of my rental was bad. But to add insult to injury, the car was dirty. Dirty on the outside, which is acceptable to me really, but on the inside too which is the unacceptable part. Smudges on the door handle like greasy fingers, dirt on the back seats, dust in all crevices around the car, dirty floor mats. I think when I got in the car, I was concentrating so much on the "does this smell like smoke?" Issue that I did not notice the other flaws in this rental. So Jacob did offer to get another car, and again my mistake. But this car should not have been cleared to be rented. Do a better Enterprise Terre Haute, for I know the smoke issue is not easily resolvable, but no excuse for a dirty vehicle inside.
