I rented a minivan from the Tewksbury location for 10 days with pickup on 6/3/26 and received a confirmation email. Less than an hour before pick up I received a text message that they had 0 cars available on their lot. I asked for assistance and received no response. I have called to speak with customer service, but they can only take your number and promise to have someone call you back that day. I have called 5 times over 6 days with no return call. I found some email addresses online, which have also been ignored. Customer Service chats have gone unanswered. Tomorrow I will file a complaint with the FTC, BBB and Attorney Generals Office. I wish I could leave a 0 star review, and for multiple reasons. First off, I had rented with Enterprise years before through the Chelmsford location. I had an alright experience at that specific location but will keep this part short, as it's not entirely specific to my disdain for the Tewksbury location (but it does tie in.) At the Chelmsford location I was helped by a man, who had me cut the woman waiting in front of me in line, just so he could comment on my tattoos. Now being a younger, heavily tattooed female I'm used to this, however it was cold out at the time and I was fully covered except for a mesh panel in my athletic leggings. We got into the rental car together and he proceeded to ask me where else on my body had I been tattooed and it made me feel incredibly uncomfortable. He also proceeded to show me his ~sick~ sleeve tatts. I made a call to the branch shortly after the incident, specifically to discuss this behavior as it made me incredibly uncomfortable. My claims were denied and dismissed as just being "customer service" and "friendly." Still confused at what customer service was being offered by making unwarranted comments about my body while trying to rent a car but anyway, I digress.... NOW onto the Tewksbury branch. I rented a car for maybe a week using a program through my insurance to make renting easy. I dropped my car off at the auto body shop, and picked up my rental at the place. I had denied their insurance as I have full coverage with my own insurance. The associate was incredibly kind and friendly and I went on my way. Once my vehicle was repaired I dropped the rental car off at the auto body place as instructed by the program. I left the rental keys with the auto body place and grabbed my own vehicle keys, and all was well. When I left the car there with the auto body place no one walked the vehicle with me or anything, the woman at the counter said it was all set. Hours later I get call from Enterprise saying there was damage to the vehicle that I know I did not cause. They rudely and adamantly claimed that I was the cause of the damage and after refusing many times I agreed to go down to the Tewksbury location and see the car for myself. When I arrived I was greeted by the same man who made the comments about my body and looked him right in the eyes and said "oh you're the one who kept asking me about my tattoos." Thankfully I brought my dad with me to view the vehicle as they only wanted to discuss the damage with him and not me. Probably because they assumed my girl brain can't fathom anything to do with a vehicle. Mind you, the damage was minute and my father actually had to ask where it was! All in all, I ended up paying for the damage that I am 110% certain I did not cause as Enterprise was emailing, snail mailing and also calling me daily, harassing me to pay. If you notice, I am the second woman to complain about an almost identical situation at this specific location. Coincidence? I think not. I will never be renting from Enterprise ever again, and I will be telling everyone I know about the sexist treatment, employee's predatory comments, and the horrific experiences I've had with their company. Plus, they support ICE, sooooo they're all around a trash company with trash morals. If you've made it this far, thank you for reading, and RENTER BEWARE!!! I rented a car couple of weeks ago. I called to make a reservation on Friday for a 9am pick up on Saturday. It was confirmed and on the day of my rental, I called at 9 am for a pick up. Eddie told me that I will get a call back around 10:45 as they were waiting for my car. At 11am, I called and I was told that they were waiting for a driver and that I will be pick up in 45 mins. I asked the guy why is there no car for me when I made a reservation the day before and if they didn't have a driver, why didn't they tell my but instead wasted my morning waiting for them to pick me up. I finally was able to get a ride from my husband and got to enterprise for 11:30. I waited until 12:30 before getting in a car with my baby. It was very frustrating because my morning was wasted and I felt like because I was a woman. They just had no respect for me, my child or my time. I waited all morning to get a car and when I finally got a car, the gas was on E and the stupid guy told me that the gas was a curtesy and that they will waive the gas fee. I was so mad and frustrates, I just left. Did he think I was a idiot. I guess he felt like he was doing me a favor. It was very insulting. I called corporate and they were just as insulting because I never got a return call back for the crab I went through. read more

I have always used enterprise for my rental needs. My family and I were in speaking with the manager about all the charges on my credit card 2400.00. We spoke to the insurance agent and she told us to call from enterprise and she would get all the charges removed and put on the insurance company as it should be. It the middle of trying to explain the situation to the manager and get liberty mutial on the phone. The manager walks away. The other associate yells out what about these guys. He says I have no idea and whatever and walks out. I have children older than him. If I wasn'asuch a gentlemen I would have done things differently. This is the 2nd time we rented an suv from here and both times we requested a Chevy suburban which we know they have and was requested months in advanced , we never got what we wanted. It was requested because of the room and the 2nd row captain seats for 6 adults and luggage. The first time they gave us a Yukon xl which was roomy enough even though it had a 2nd row bench seat which is a pain for 2 adults to climb out of the 3rd row but we just dealt with it. The 2nd time we rented about a week ago there was a suburban in the lot and we thought we would be getting that but no we couldnt have that cause someone else was picking it up the next day so he gave us a Ford Expedition which had smaller trunk space and a bench seat all of what we did not want and was told to Zach but he insisted it was the same size and it wasn't at all we had to settle on 2 duffel bags to use instead of a suitcase cause of smaller trunk space . The suv was never cleaned out before he gave it to us and every time you used the brakes on hwy it would shake. I don't know if I would ever go to this location again to rent a car if they can't give you what you want. read more

I recently was in a car accident & I need a rental which the insurance of the other vehicle will cover. I called the office in Tewksbury & have never been treated with such utter disrespect. My interactions with Miguel & the manager Ray were not pleasant. Miguel had an attitude & was flippant with me on the phone threatening me that I would not be able to rent a car because I did not believe I should have to put down a $300 deposit (which they can waive...it's called a Collision Damage Waiver CDW) that he said covered gas...what tank of gas costs $300 & Enterprise doesn't even fill the tank! Ray, his manager, called back trying to justify Miguel's behavior only to hang up on me. What type of role model is this for employees? I do not need this verbal abuse from Enterprise, especially after an auto accident. I spoke with Tim, the area rental mangaer, & he listened to my case, but still stood by his employees stating that something must have happened for the manager to hang up on me. In addition, the two employees fabricated a story stating I was in a heated verbal altercation; I never yelled at either employee & nothing warranted the treatment I received. For a company that prides itself on customer satisfaction, I am shocked at how the empolyees have the final say & the customer's word is worthless. I am floored at how Enterprise approves & applauds such behavior. I have informed my insurance company of the grave injustices Enterprise permits behind its doors. I rented a car from Avis...better car, better service, no disrespect! Maybe others will want to make the switch too. read more

The rental process through my insurance company was quick and easy. Car was very nice. My problem was with the phone policy. My rental term through my ins. co. was about to end. I was away in New Orleans at the time. When I came back I got a call to approve a deduction on my card. I asked why, and the representative said my coverage ended, and I owed $314. I asked why I wasn't notified, and he said I was. I asked when, and I checked my phone. I then remembered the missed call that I received while in a meeting. There was no caller ID saying Enterprise, and no voicemail was left. So I assumed just a spam call. Nor did they send me an email. My car was parked at my house in Tewksbury, and I would have had my son drop it off. (My car still wasn't fixed from the accident). I asked the associate at the desk upon drop off why no caller id, no voice mail, or email? He said he didn't know, and it was a problem to call my insurance co about. I just don't understand the process of notification. I would hate to think it was for monetary reasons. I paid the money, and chalked it up to a lesson learned. read more

I took the C&J bus from NYC to Tewksbury Holiday Inn and was picked up by this location. Had to wait about 30 minutes for pickup because they were on another, but it wasn't a big problem, and the checkout of the car was very quick. Return and drive to Holiday Inn for bus was also exceptionally quick and efficient. They might consider having people call when they're 15 minutes away so they can schedule pickups better. (Enterprise at the Albany, NY Amtrak station does that, and it works very well.) Car was clean and comfortable. I do wish it had a full tank of gas, or at least a half tank. It was only a little over a quarter of a tank, which means that I ended up overfilling when I returned it, and had to watch carefully on the way out that I didn't get too low. Second time that's happened with Enterprise this summer - other was at the Hudson, NY location. On the whole, a good experience. read more
