I normally don't leave reviews, but after hearing what happened to one of my closest friends at this location, I felt compelled to say something. The way they were treated was completely unacceptable. They were made to feel discriminated against, the manager became aggressive, laughed in their face, and even called the police over a situation that should have never been escalated. My friend ended up calling 911 themselves because they no longer felt safe. No customer should ever leave a business feeling targeted, or afraid. I sincerely hope corporate looks into this incident and ensures no one else has to go through an experience like this. read more

Absolutely disgusting. The cars are like ashtrays with wheels....we detailed the car to get it less yucky ourselves and endured a couple of weeks in the Sentra I tried to exchange it for something less icky and a little more comfortable. I was quoted $5 would get me a full size .... It was a Kia soul . The Hyundai was $45 a day more... Took the soul only to find out when you turn on the heat a combination of weed and tobacco comes out. Opened the glove box found condoms and someone's funeral list. The previous renters used mask in the visor.... It was like getting kicked in the groin and paying extra for it. Returned it because no car is better than the enterprise cars... Going to update once I find his name written somewhere but the fellow was very helpful and friendly! These are the types of special employees that leave you smiling and have extra appreciation for the company. Non-traditional experience as airport is very small and desolate the evening we went to renew the rental. He right there to greet us when we arrived, and said we could just keep the same upgraded car that was there (based on availability I presume, so don't assume you will get special service too!). We went inside and he completed the paperwork very quick and told us key information -- basically everything we needed to know that often any customer service fails to mention (though it might only take a little effort). So let`s walk through my less than positive experience renting this car... when I first got my rental car, they gave me an old suv that felt like the gas pedals wouldn`t move. I was also a bit short for the vehicle so the windows blocked my view in a way that I did not feel safe driving this car. I also opted for the extra insurance, which I was told (wrongly) was only $22 a day. The one positive part of my experience was I did call into asking for a different rental car. They very nicely gave me an upgraded Cadillac at the same price. However, it was downhill from there.. The first issue I had was when I got home I noticed the Cadillac had not been cleaned at all. There were muddy foot prints all over the inside of the care, even on the back of the seats. The other issue was the car kept giving me a notice that the oil needed to be changed soon. The actual oil light never came on, but given I would end up having the car for almost a month made me a bit nervous, given I had to travel long distances for work. The largest issue I had was I left my actual cars registration in the first rental car (this was my first time renting and I wasn`t sure what was needed to I brought it). Less than 24 hours after I dropped the first car off I called back. They nicely said they would check for it...almost 3 weeks later (20 days) and I still had not heard a word from them. I called back again and was told they would check..again no updated for 2 days. I called back again and spoke to a woman there. She basically told me that the rental car was at a different location. I asked repeatedly if she would call that location asking, and all she kept saying was she`d check the lost and found spot at her location instead. She also said they normally shred those papers since it`s sensitive info.....I have been so enraged by the complete lack of proactiveness and professionalism in this situation. I called less than 24 hours after I realized my mistake. NO ONE gave me an update for over 3 weeks. Then after calling THREE!! times they finally tell me "oh well but we aren`t responsible for this". REALLY?! I understand it was my mistake but it took them 25 days total to tell me the registration was gone and then proceed to tell me since there are a number of situations that could have occurred (one of which the women said was I basically could be lying) that they wouldn`t do anything to reconcile the situation. ALSO mind you they waited until AFTER I turned in the rental car to tell me all of this. Mind you I ended up paying almost $500 extra in insurance since this was my first time renting. You would think they would at least be a tiny bit proactive about the situation. Instead of receiving calls about an update to my registration, I received plenty of updated asking to take more money out of my account for the rental.... which ended up being more than expected since they neglected to tell me sales tax was added onto insurance $. Got stuck in NJ a few months ago when our flight out of Newark was cancelled & first available wasn't till late the next day - in Baltimore! Due to some odd pricing, if we had taken our current car to MD, it would have been $800+ for a 4 day rental - there's some kind of $200 drop fee if you go one-way out-of-state and they charge it per day (?). We did learn that we could avoid the multiple charges by returning our car to the original location (EWR) and getting a new one so we only got hit once with this fee. Now it was just a matter of driving an hour north, then three hours back to Baltimore. Ugh. Long story short, the group decided to bite the bullet and just drive all the way home to Charlotte. We ended up at this location to switch cars (having figured out the drop fee didn't apply within state lines), and despite the holiday weekend madhouse (it was right before Memorial Day), the girl helping us was incredibly polite and helpful, putting us in a nice 300, printing out directions in case our phones died, and pulling our cars into their garage so we could switch our bags out of the rain. She even ended up waiving the extra fees to drive from NJ to NC! & yes, we made it home, thanks to a classic rock station on the car's satellite radio. read more

Worst ever! Had confirmed reservation for pick up from train station and not only were they not there but no answer from phone number (all circuits busy) for over an hour! Other branches could not reach them and finally offered to call mgr cell and give them mine- still no contact! I left 1.5 hours for this transfer and this made me late for my work... A few weeks ago I hit a heinous pothole in my brand-new Hyundai Elantra and ripped out part of the undercarriage. I dropped my car off at the body shop, filed an insurance claim and rented a car through Enterprise to be covered by my insurance company. As we speak I am sitting in the filthiest rental car of ALL TIME, with squeaky brakes and an expired registration. Wow. Just holy wow. TTN Airport Enterprise was all sold out and had to rent from one of the nearest one from there. It cost $27 extra dollars to get there by Uber, because they don't compete with same Enterprise branch in the airport. I wish they pick up some overflow customers when all fleets sold out in the TTN airport. But guys working here are very polite, friendly, and efficient. It was a great one-way rent to DCA with unbeatable price. read more

Beginning in 2015, I've had cause to make several rentals here. Having more typically rented in a smaller, comfortable market (State College, PA ), I was a little reticent, and didn't know what to expect, renting in a larger market. The staff here has been great! Timely pick-ups, to and from the Trenton Transit Center [ with great convo and info about the area ] , courtesy/reminder calls, and gracious upgrades when available. I have yet to have ANY issue. They remember and acknowledge me, which I appreciate - makes the whole rental go that much smoother. I was told this morning that a compact car was available at 10:30AM. They called and pushed it back until 12pm, but due to pushing back the time--they said they'll be able to show me better options for other cars besides the compact since they had to delay my pickup time. They suggested a mini van. Upon arriving at 12, they informed me they had no cars but a pick up truck with 15 miles to the gallon. I reminded them of our conversations. One of the managers (Mike) called a few places to no avail until finally one car was found at the Trenton airport. I asked if they could get it and bring it back here. They did. Still waiting right now, minute 50 when they said the whole wait will be 30 minutes or less. Matt informed me that he'll give me a discount upon returning the car due to the wait. I'll write another review then in a couple weeks to inform on their follow up with the discount and condition of the car and drop off service. Very disappointed so far. Mike was trying to accommodate but the overall service was poor thus far. read more

I had a reservation with this facility and arranged for them to pick me up at the train station. It took 15 minutes of calling and being disconnected for me to get thru. Then was told 10 min. It was 20+ minutes for the pick up. The driver was very nice and the guys at the facility were nice. They upgraded my category for the inconvenience. We rented a car for several days in early August 2013, and the staff who works here were courteous and efficient. We arrived at the Trenton train station a couple hours earlier than planned, and they came quickly to pick us up. We got the car we had reserved and the gas price at the rental office was cheaper than the one on the streets. Drop off was just as easy, and they took us to the train station again. I would rent here again. I'm not giving more stars because the office and bathroom were shabby and not clean. read more

Great customer service and very accommodating to our needs. I indicated to the agent that I was looking for a larger vehicle to accommodate my family and our luggage and they went out of their way to show us upgraded options at very little additional cost. When we got a flat tire they were very helpful by referring us to the Airport location which was open late and they assisted us in getting an upgraded vehicle at no additional charge!! We have rented from Enterprise before and had no problems with the agency as such. This particular branch, however, was very unfriendly and non-cooperative. Especially, one particular staff at the car wash was very rude and made some insulting remarks as we were trying to park the car in the minuscule sized return lot. read more
