Recently was involved in an accident. My front facia of my car was destroyed. A friend of mine recommended that I go to Hamilton autobody on Youngs Road when I arrived I was greeted by Jim and Josh. They were very friendly, very professional. They knew exactly what they were talking about when they looked at my car as a car person it's very easy to spot out when someone's trying to tell you something that's not true everything that they said was everything that I observed my car was fixed through insurance so I only had to pay my deductible, when I got it back, it looked like it just rolled off the factory line Jim and Josh did a phenomenal job and I will only take my cars to them from here on out. They are very responsive and know what they are doing. If you have any concerns at all, you can let them know and they will accommodate you would recommend anyone to bring their cars here, whether if it was for it personal or insurence repair. I had a horrible experience here -- I ended up more upset with Hamilton Auto Body than with what happened to my car. I wasn't satisfied with the work/time, the staff, or the price. The staff made rude remarks about a customer who had just left the office in front of me. BEWARE, they keep a HUGE dog on site (possibly taller than me on its hind legs) and it will come up and touch you when you enter the office. It was friendly whenever I saw it, but it made me very uncomfortable to have a giant dog coming up and touching me. The whole office smells like dog. Avoid. read more

This place is a complete and total rip off. If you are in an accident anywhere near this area and the police officer gives you the card of this company, do yourself a favor and rip it up right away. They are in the business of scamming people, charging way too many fees to have your damaged car held hostage for days without them ever answering the phone or your inquiries about how to get your car back. After paying an outrageous fee to have our car there for a week (only because they would not answer the phone when we tried to get the car back) we sent a private towing company to pick up the car and they gave our towing company a hard time AFTER we paid their outrageous fee for "storage." Their game is to charge you a ton of fees, insist on a cash payment, and hope that you can't pay. Then they will confiscate your car, patch it up and put it on their used car lot. Do yourself a favor and have your car towed to a legitimate body shop or mechanic, not these sketchy operation. read more

Hamilton Auto Body repaired two of my vehicles (both Subaru) which were involved in accidents in the last 4 months and both cars came out looking like new--one had extensive damage. There were no issues with repair estimates or payments--both cars were fully covered under insurance claims. They were fixed in a timely manner and I was informed as soon as they were finished. THE STORY: Been here multiple times, but no more, poor paint match, multiple errors in workmanship, the paint may look shiny but when its a shade off its an eye sore, had to handle proper interior panel reinstallation myself, found interior and exterior loose paneling in every place that was touched and had to redo most of them, panel gaps are lazy and not reset to spec, obvious crash damages where missed after the shop returned my vehicle to me in unsafe condition that made driving uncomfortable and dangerous, I did bring it up to the owner but it was met with overconfidence, eventually I brought in the evidence and got it fixed leaving me without a car for the day, I continue to find more issue with the workmanship on the vehicle, have called and been told, I'll be called back, never to receive a call, I eventually gave up took it to another shop and reported all my findings to my insurance company in the hopes no one else has to go through this. The issue with the shop to take into note: * Fit and finish is moderate to poor just because the paint is shiny doesn't mean care was put into disassembly & reassembly of your vehicle during repair. also obvious signs the vehicle was not reset to spec so imo its a major oversight! * In my experience they rely on a third party for some repair "non body" and panel related which is normal but fail to inspect the 3rd parties work, to assure it is at their proclaimed standard. leaving the possibility a vehicle may be returned to an unassuming customer in Unrepaired condition, it would be easy to mistake the difference as a consumer and would be convinced it the result of the accident & it will never be the same, but fact is if their is no frame damage it can be returned to spec with a full part replacement! * The age old promise of call me we will handle it seamlessly & we guarantee our work, well keep it in mind its a one shot deal, because you will call and eventually be told you will receive a call back, as the owner gives you the run around, again evidence vs oversight are the problem here, followed by over confidence and a false sense of good workmanship it may be the owners goal to provide this premium service but it may be the unsupervised employees not meeting the owners proclaimed standards! * Rentals! If you take on that so called warranty of workmanship, yeah that Kush rental you got threw insurance to make your inconvenience feel no so inconvenient, well remember after you turn in the rental, a seemless experience with this shop, and get back in your ride and find something you feel meets the warranty, you expect to be told we got you covered but right! Well realize this is where the I got you covered ends in the sense of seemless convenience, they screwed up they should cover you right? Wrong you will have to now cover a rental up front as your car has to renter the bodyshop for a second time funny how professionals miss something and hope you don't notice to save a buck, you catch it and now it being honored with a lil fight but that is also turned major inconvenience! Well to get another Kush Rental to ease your day you will need to make the initial arrangements on your own pay up front with promises from the owner of repayment coverage, after what I seen so far I wasn't gonna push my luck, fortunately the vehicle was still within the time to put yet another claim into my insurance yet again for another rental due to poor workmanship as owner states it was taken care of and was repaired but not without some major inconveniences if it had not been for my good insurance company I would be without a vehicle and no way to get to my job & go about my day! I expect professional to get it right the first time, not me returning time and time again! CONCLUSION: Avoid....Avoid...Avoid more BS the one person needs and for those unaware it could be a costly mistake full of frustration, I will warn anyone who ask what shop should I use avoid.... avoid... avoid if you care about you investment, but if you got a car that you could give a damn about this is the place for you! read more
