First time renting a car with Enterprise and I have to say it was a good experience. (Spoiler alert)(The employees are super awesome). Atmosphere: Not to bad! Like most standard car rental places, its nice and welcoming. Not much to add on that piece. Employees: Very friendly! Accommodating, and they made me feel welcomed and understood when I asked general questions for a first time renter :). Shout out to Zach, Micah, and Madison for being great! Car selection: This one is subjective, but I saw about 5 cars I could choose from, and of course I went with a Kia K5 as that was the most fuel efficient vehicle. The car did have some scratches and dings, but that's all wear & tear and as expected. Customer service: During the entire time I had the vehicle and when some issues came out, the manager (Zach) was very accommodating and committed to making the experience good. Very pleased with the service. Recommendations: I'd recommend enterprise, as they have great staff, customer service, and most of all this location went above and beyond. This Enterprise gets A++ from me for amazing customer service! Let's face it, a car is a car, no matter where you get it. What makes the difference is how the company treats you. For customer service that counts, staff that sees you and treats you like a human being, rather than a number, this is the place to be! I had an urgent medical situation and I needed a car. I started at Hertz/Dollar at the airport, but they failed to see me as a human being. All they saw was that I was flying out of Phoenix rather than Tucson. (Never mind I was scheduled to return the car PRIOR to my return flight, never mind that I had their little $500 requirement) my choice of airports was enough for them to simply shut me down in a time of need! I mean, these folks turned into a stone wall! Would a little human kindness, and understanding have been too much to ask? I tried another national brand, but this time my mistake was being from California rather than from Arizona. Again, deaf ears. I was a human being with means, a valid driver lic, and a medical situation growing more urgent by the minute. Apparently they don't speak Californian, only Arizonian! As a last resort, I went to at Enterprise 3313 Speedway in Tucson. Hallelujah, I found some human beings, some Arizonians who had the ability to respect and value a woman from California. I found people willing to see me, hear me, and treat me like a human being. I felt respected and valued. I had to provide transportation for a family member having a medical procedure. There is no way the hospital will perform the procedure without knowing they had a ride home. I desperately needed a car. If not for these people, I have no idea what we would have done. read more

A week ago I rented a car for the first time. I was honestly very nervous and I didn't know what to expect the customer service that was provided by enterprise was amazing! When I arrived at this location to pick up my car Gabe was very polite and explained everything I needed to know about renting, he answered all my questions, he went above and beyond to make sure that I felt comfortable and understood everything. I rented the car for a whole week and pricing was really good my rental was a 2019 Chevy impala loved the car. I will consider this location for other rentals, thank you enterprise and gabe. read more

Absolutely the worst customer service on the planet broken promises ruined expectations devastating to my vacation experience. There was a young lady named Courtney who does not belong in the customer service business let alone a business that affects peoples businesses and vacations. The fact that she made it through basic training and is in charge of anything remotely associated with people is a travesty If I may add, Courtney is at the top of the food chain when it comes to customer service. However we found a common theme when dealing with enterprise in this area. Do yourself a favor find anyone who was in direct competition with enterprise and rent from them. Even if you get a piece of junk car, at least you have a car. The only reason I gave them a one is because I cannot go any lower. I get a corporate discount for Enterprise so I always rent cars here. The hours aren't that great at any Enterprise location, except the airport. This location has an after-hours key drop, which is convenient, because I usually rent a car to go to Phoenix for the day for a training. I don't arrive in Tucson until late so I can drop off the car immediately and not have to wait until the next day. My first two visits were reasonably pleasant. They offered me a bottled water, on one occasion they upgraded me free of charge, and had me on my way in no time. This most recent visit was not great. They were shorter with me and didn't offer me any water. They offered me a huge pickup truck (which would've been a nice upgrade from economy, had I been comfortable driving that). I'm too nervous to drive a giant pickup and be responsible for any damage to a rental, so I said I'd like a sedan. They gave me an old Dodge Dart with a quarter tank of gas, so I immediately needed to fill up. Plus, they know I will return the fuel in their favor, because how am I supposed to guess how much to put in to get to a quarter tank? So inconvenient. The first couple cars I rented had nice options like Bluetooth. This one just had a radio and a CD player. Lame. Also, the DC outlet didn't work, leaving me without the ability to charge my phone, which is no bueno when I'm draining the battery using a navigation app, because I'm going to an unfamiliar place. read more

Charged me an extra day on my rental fee. Reserved a vehicle for 48 hours with a drop-off on Sunday after hours. Estimated rental cost from Enterprise showed 48 hours of rental, but after I dropped the car off they tacked on a 3rd day without telling me. I called to dispute the charge and he said he'd take care of the refund. Two weeks passed with no refund, so I called again and another associate said that they added the 3rd day because it was an after hours drop off. When I pushed, she said "oh the refund was processed just yesterday (2 weeks after my first call) and should show up soon". read more

Awful. Ive rented from Enterprise almost monthly for years and showed up with a reservation to them not having any cars. The associate's only offer to rectify this issue was to give me a 15 passenger van....I called the 800 number and talked to a manager who's only offer to help was for me to change to a location 35 minutes away. The reason I was renting a car was to get to Phoenix for an event that I spent $50 in tickets on. So my day, trip and money on tickets was completely wasted and Enterprise could care less. read more

I rented a car from this location two weeks ago and I was impressed with the service I recieved. I reserved the car ahead of time online, found a 5% off coupon on Retailmenot.com, and picked up my car on the date requested with no hassles.The discount was honored and there was no high pressure sales speech to get me to buy the optional damage waiver or any of the many other coverages that they offer. The car was clean and mechanically sound, at least for the week I had it. Drop off was hassle free too. Customer service was good. No complaints at all. read more

Hi, I rented a car on 21st August 2015 from Enterprise on E Speedway, Tucson. I wanted to rent it for 48 hours so I thought I will pick the car at 5:30 PM in the evening and can return it on Sunday by same time. But the problem was, if I do not end up returning the car by 3 PM on Sunday, I will be charged for 3 days as it closes by 3PM. Now, I would like to know what is the use of the box outside the office which says "Drop Keys Here".? Why should I be charged for 3 days? Since it was urgent I rented it as per their terms and conditions. Secondly, since I rented for 3 days (which I did not want), I asked if I can have the insurance for the first 2 days and I do not want the full coverage for the third day as I knew I will not be using the car, they denied it and said the insurance cover will remain same for all three days. Thirdly, I have rented car from enterprise many times in the past one year and it was this time I faced the most issues. I rented premium car "Maxima". To my surprise, the car was dirty. The from windshield had patches and the back seats were not clean. There was stuff from the person who rented the car just before me. So in all the car was in bad shape. I was sure that they will provide me a clean car so I did not even bother to cross-check it until I started using the car. read more

Ups and downs, with a cherry on top. The downs: - We had a reservation for a "Full" size car, and the Jetta crossover they gave me seemed full sized - until I put my family of 5 and luggage into it, and it definitely doesn't qualify as a full size car. Upon returning the car, I called another location and they confirmed that this qualifies for a "Standard" class vehicle. - We paid for a full size car. - The rear window would not roll down. - Whoever cleaned the car missed the inside windshield. - The back windshield wiper was bladeless, and it was accidentally left on - so I had to turn back and get them to shut it off because it sounded like nails on a chalkboard. The ups: - The gas mileage was incredible, considering we drove the car about 1200 miles and gas only cost about $150. - The car was pretty well loaded with features. - The service was fast and polite. The cherry on top: - They listened well to me and gave me 1 free day for all the inconvenience, which I appreciated. The total cost of Friday morning until Monday morning for this car after their generosity was $70, which I think is pretty slick. I will definitely return, and I will leave an updated review (hopefully a higher rating too). read more

Never thought to go elsewhere because they have always given us great service each time we rented a car, and they seemed to have a good selection/inventory for sales. We made an appointment (not necessary) and met with Mark, who couldn't have been any more pleasant and accommodating. No haggling (something I am no good at, so this was also welcome), and we were guided through every step of the financing process. They even placed the call to our insurance company to make sure we had everything in order before leaving. In and out in well under three hours, a definite record in my car-buying history. Enterprise Rent-A-Car - Car Rental Near Me - Tucson, Arizona

I've periodically rented from this location over the last four years. Initially, the service wasn't too bad, I was able to get picked up and dropped off in a timely manner, and I was always able to get into a car. That being said, the last month was not the most ideal. About three weeks ago I had a reservation, which I booked more than a month in advance, however, when I went to pick up the car, there was nothing on the lot. This was after I called in the morning asking for a ride, upon which I was told I wouldn't be picked up until two hours after my reservation time (1:00pm). I was not told there was limited to no availability. Rather than wait, I took a Lyft down to the location. That's when I was told there was nothing available, and they could call me when something came in. Not being offered a ride for the inconvenience, I took another Lyft home, called Dollar at the airport, and was in a car within an hour! I didn't get a call from Enterprise until 6:30pm and there was no voicemail. Two weeks later, my car gets rear ended and I have not choice but to go through Enterprise (due to insurance claim). Again, practically nothing on the lot, and there was only one person in the office. I was offered the only vehicle they had, a truck with a damaged bumper (which was "noted" in the system) and told I could upgrade in the next few days. I returned two days later to learn they still did not have anything available, so I was stuck with the truck. Cool, no worries, I'm flexible. I'll spare a few details here, but when I went down to check when/what time the truck was due, my CC on file was insufficient and I was told to turn in the keys. The RM was helpful and said I could get a money order, so long as another crew member go with me. The offer was kind, but after deliberating, I decided to turn in the truck. I was being asked/accused of the "documented" damage, until the crew member finally found the note somewhere in the file. I was not offered an apology, nor was I offered a ride to my next destination, by either the regional manager, or the crew member, who was the assistant manager. If you can avoid coming here, do. Seem to be understaffed and tend to have limited availability. read more

I had a great experience with this location. Great phone communication and easy to book. Friendly customer service. The car I got was better than I expected (a Toyota Camry? Heck yeah!). I was in and out of the place in under 15 minutes or so with inspection and explanation and such. The car was awesome! I had zero problems with it. It got 30+ miles to the gallon, which rocked too! We have rented cars through enterprise before and never had any issues, this is our first time at this location and for sure our last, the girl was very rude, had an attitude from the beginning, when we got our rental car it had dents, and literally was just handed to us after someone just dropped it off, DIRTY! Has dirt, and juice spilled all over the back seat. She had a problem as we're addressing the walk through and rolled her eyes as we told her to have it cleaned. This is so unprofessional. Not only was it dirty but we've been waiting for over an hour, renting a car should be easy and fast. Not here, not at this location, Never coming back to this location again. read more

Great service and fast at start however once they have your Buisness don't expect them to go out of the way to drive you an extra one or two blocks past their "range" of returning you to your location. I reserved a full size car, but upon arrival they did not have one ready. I was given the option of taking a small car or waiting for the bigger one to be cleaned. I waited a half-hour. Upon leaving the property, I noticed the fuel gauge was less than full, so stopped at a nearby gas station and put $6 in it. I told the clerk about that upon return of the car, and she said in the future I should check that before I leave the property. (I would have thought that was THEIR job.) Windows and rear-view mirrors were not clean, as usual with Enterprise. I think I will start looking elsewhere for my next rental. read more

Well i my case 1 star is too much. I booked a rental online and paid for it online as well. I took a Uber there and when i went to pick it up i added some insurance and upon that i presented the same credit card i used to book it. I was asked for a pin number and i explained that it was a credit card and it doesn't have a pin. The manager was rude and had zero empathy. I was unable to get the car i had already paid for online. I took a Uber back home and was able to find a rental at the last minute with another company. I submitted feedback and received a call from a regional manager. He assured me that i would be refunded and that i would get a call back within a few days. I never heard back. I called the customer service number and was transferred to escalations, i spoke to a nice lady who told me i had to wait 14 business days before they refund me and she gave me a reference # to call back on Friday. I called and was transferred 3 times and i ended back in escalations and i explained that i had a reference number and there were notes explaining everything. This one told me i do not show you were charged, i i advised her that i was looking at the charge (a 3 days rental) on my credit card. She then told me that all they do on escalations is to get me a call back from a manager. I told i already spoke to a regional manager and she basically told me that is all she can do for me!! I am now disputing the charge with my credit card (which can take 2 billing cycles) and in the meantime i am being charged interest daily. I have rented plenty of cars with the same credit card and never had an issue. I am just trying to get a refund for a car i never got simply due to not having a pin number !! I have since requested a pin for my card and it specifically says that a pin is only needed to take cash from an ATM or when using the card in another country. read more

I'll never go back. Very rude. As I waited to be helped, I listened to the gal leave a message on a customer's voicemail and she couldn't remember the name of the customer she was calling so she said as much in a really snotty voice in the message she left. Then, she treated me like I was bothering her while I tried to be pleasant because I thought maybe she was having a bad day. THEN, the guy next to her was having an issue with a customer who arrived a day earlier than his reservation. They proceeded to tell him that they couldn't do anything to accommodate him and he would have to go online, cancel his reservation and issue a new reservation. Really? You can't help the guy out? And, then after they shoed him off, the next lady in line had issues with some paperwork she had to present to rent a car and this gal was condescending and insulting. Literally, every customer interaction I witnessed, including my own, was unpleasant. And, finally, when I declined the car insurance they offered, I was lectured on how that was a poor choice. The thing is, I was renting a car for family member until they could get to a car dealership to buy a new car. I was going to tell them to head over to the Enterprise used car lot and have a look. I left and laughed. There's no way in hell I was going to recommend them after that experience. They ended up buying a car from another dealership. Customer service matters, guys. read more

Reserved a compact for labor day weekend for $13.30 and asked for pickup. True, they were late about an hour to pick me up and then it took another half hour to get the car. Instead of waiting more, they upped me to Prius, which turned out great! But considering it WAS labor day weekend and CRAZY BUSY everywhere, it was a GREAT deal! Ok, so the car had some bugs on it, but where else could I get a pick up for free and a Prius unlimited miles for $13.30/day?!?! I've used Enterprise before and will again. (Re: the gas, it was half empty when they gave it to me. Before I left, I was told I would only pay the difference between what was left in the tank and the half when I returned it. But then was charged for filling the tank. When I called in to ask about it, the manager honored what I was told originally. A good thing, but they should get their story straight on the policy.) My experience at the Speedway Enterprise Rent A Car was outstanding. I was able to select my car, which they took extra time to clean. Upon returning the car, I asked to use it to go to the Phoenix airport and they were able to work that out for al reasonable price. I would recommend them and now only rent with Enterprise! read more
