I dropped off my vehicle at Tustin Ford on 07/05 to have it diagnosed and was given an approval for a rental from Enterprise so I walked across the street and I was originally given a Nissan Maxima. I took the local streets to work and a few hours later I received a call from Enterprise saying that Ford only wants their customers to be in a Ford rental and they asked me to bring the Maxima back. I let them know that I was at work and asked if they could send someone to come swap the cars. I provided Enterprise with my work address and they sent an employee who brought a Ford Bronco to swap out with the Nissan Maxima. I swapped keys with the employee when he arrived at my workplace and shortly after I received a message from my service advisor saying my vehicle was ready for pickup. So, I dropped off the Ford Bronco around 1:20pm during my lunch break before I went to go pickup my vehicle from Ford. A week later on 07/12 I noticed a pending toll charge on my credit card. I initially thought this was a fraudulent charge and was waiting for the charge to post on my account before I could dispute it with my credit card company. But, on 07/13 I received an email from Enterprise with the breakdown of the toll charges. I later found out that their employee went on a toll road with the Nissan Maxima around 12:20PM and they charged me for it. I reached out to the branch and spoke with the manager Tyler to let him know I never went on a toll and he told me he was going to escalate the issue for me and provided me with a number to call. I called and spoke to their customer service representative and the lady apologized and said a refund would be issued within 3 business days. I called again and spoke to 3 more representatives after the refund was not issued. The first representative said he would issue the refund right away, the 2nd representative told me to wait at least 10 business days and the 3rd representative told me to speak with the actual branch or wait for upper management to reach out. So, I called the branch and spoke with the manager yesterday and she said she will send an email and I kindly asked her to email/text me an update and she said she will but I received nothing from her at the end of the day. So, after giving Enterprise multiple chances to correct their mistake. I finally called my credit card company and let them know that this was an unauthorized charge. I just can't believe the audacity that this company has to charge their customer a toll fee that their employee went on and have me wait for two weeks for $7.11. What a huge disappointment on so many levels! read more

The worst customer service I have ever received in my life. I don't know who hired this employee. His name is Gorsh. I think he is Syrian. He was not cooperative at all. He made me wait outside the showroom. I thought he's the owner of the company. This is not a good image for a company that has more than 9,000 branches in more than 100 countries. Although this location is a bit janky (squeezed in a Nissan sales lot), the staff are quick and efficient when getting you on the road ASAP! The manager, Shannon, processed my reservation, toured the car letting me know how it operated, made sure the SIRIUS-XM was working, and sent me on my way in confidence. I'm glad she gently suggested the insurance package - the one EVERYONE SAYS NOT TO BUY.... - however the vehicle's windshield was hit by a rock during my travels. The ding was spiderwebbing terribly by the time I got back to the Tustin Autocenter location. Because I made the right decision to buy the insurance, I walked away without having to get my insurance involved and the hassles thereof. In my view, this was $$ well spent. Manni a pomas over arrogant disrespectful unsophisticated manager at your location refused to not only cancel the contract stating that I had to cancel the contract with the costa mesa office, I had to then drive the vehicle to the costa mesa office, refused to print out the invoice with all the current and refunded monies due to the fact I had paid for the extension of the rental to 01/17/2025, accused me of having smoked in the vehicle and stated that he had to charge me to detail the car. When Manni then proceeded to kick me out of the office, I called the police in which there is now a report to the mission viejo office. Again, I had to CALL THE POLICE, because your so called manager refused to provide the appropriate customer service to a client who just recently spent $4400 with your organization. 01/14/2025 I called Chris the manager at your costa mesa office where I had to request that he close the contract. The mission Viejo office accepted the car and refused to close the contract on the date it was delivered 01/13/2025 and charge me for another fee. 01/14/2025 Chris then proceeded to inform me there is no invoice to all off the $300 and some deposits have been taken using my debit card and have yet to be refunded a single payment. Chris then stated that those that are listed on the enterprise invoice as deposits totaling $2046.76 are actual payments for the rental. as of 01/14/2025 I have been charged for a car that was returned. And no one at any location will provide me with a detailed invoice of all monies to be returned to me. If I am not refunded my overpayments, If I do not see the invoices corrected and all of my deposit returned, and a formal apology letter from all of the individuals, I will be conducting this further in court. They accused my 80 year old father of causing scratches that were on the bumper BEFORE he received the car. They said because he didn't take pictures of the scratches before taking the car, he is now liable for them and sent him a bill for over $1,500 (for barely visible scratches). You have to get down and very close to the rear bumper to see the scratches. See attached photo. Regardless, he did not cause them and they were already there. Looks like insurance scams using elderly people are normal practice at this location to repair their vehicles. Look elsewhere or make sure you take your own pictures of every single scratch by inspecting every inch of the car before renting here. Not sure how they find them, but they make the waits and the long check-ins more than bearable because they always have a smile, are genuinely nice and care about their jobs, I met Josh (or Joshua?) today who is the territory manager and told him I wish others in service jobs could emulate Enterprise. Only problem I had dropping my car off here was finding the place. I think needed in the haystack is a great way to describe it. I'm not from the area and just was going off my apple map directions. After going right into the center you have to make a left at Nissan. The sign on the enterprise shack is just some draping over the building. Sometimes car rentals are for fun, other times they are a necessity. I'm guessing that many of the rentals done here are for people who are having their cars worked on at a nearby dealer. Someone needing a rental car might be kind of limited in their options as a result. Good luck if you are stuck getting a car here. This location needs to improve either their policies or cleaning. Picking up a rental car that smells strongly of sickeningly sweet air freshener is bad enough, but that car smelling like an ashtray after being parked and closed for thirty minutes is even worse. I've encountered rental cars that smelled like smoke in the past, but this one was so extreme and so incredibly bad that I almost threw up and the windows had to be open in order to drive without choking (even on a cold winter night, not fun at all). It's clear that someone was smoking in this car, probably for an extended period of time. Between the return inspection and cleaning team, I find it hard to believe that Enterprise wasn't aware of this horrid stench. They covered it up with terrible air freshener, but that only lasted a short drive. Now it smells like an ashtray sprayed with nasty fake cherry-smelling chemicals. (Imagine trying to put a pregnant person in a vehicle with these noxious fumes.) I've been an Enterprise renter for close to 20 years but this one and only experience with a car from this location tells me they don't care. COVID 19 Experience Ive been loyal for over a decade and have use the service more than 98% of their customers so thousands of dollars worth of business, I had just returned a car a week prior so I could help out family during these times. They wouldn't rent to me because I had a brand new BofA temporary card and the paper work.
