This is very frustrating it is such a rigmarole to resolve a refund thats months old and bill was settled by Range Rover. Very poor in handling disputes and no troubleshooting skills. No empathy at all.

I had a terrible experience with Enterprise in Chatsworth, and I only booked there because it was the closest location to my home. I made a reservation 2-3 weeks in advance for a minivan, as we were picking up our son, who would be bringing four pieces of luggage. A week ago, I called to confirm our reservation and ensure we'd get a Chrysler Pacifica, which they confirmed. However, on the day of pick-up, after working in the morning, I arrived in the afternoon, only to be told that they had given away my car. I had explicitly told the rep during the call that I would pick up the car Friday afternoon because we were leaving early Saturday morning. His response was, "Sorry, we had your reservation at 8 AM, and we give a one-hour allowance. Since you didn't call, we gave away your car." I asked if they even tried to contact me, and he replied, "There are only two of us here, and we didn't have time to call because we were busy with other customers." He was dismissive and immediately moved on to the next customer. The waiting room had three customers (including myself), and only one staff member was outside retrieving cars. Frustrated, I called Enterprise and was told by the trunk line for reservations that the Sherman Way branch had a minivan available. I was hopeful, so I rushed to the location, but upon arrival, my heart sank. The place was packed--people were waiting outside, and more were inside. It was clear that the branch was busy, but I noticed around five staff members working hard, yet still managing to provide excellent customer service. Then, Will approached me with professionalism and a friendly demeanor. He asked for my name and politely requested that I wait as they worked hard to accommodate everyone. His calm attitude had a calming effect on the other customers, making us all feel valued. When my name was called, I was told that the staff didn't know there was no minivan available because I had called the general reservation line, not the local branch. I explained the poor service I received at the Chatsworth branch, where they gave away my car without even attempting to help. Will, recognizing the frustration and desperation in my voice, told me to wait while they worked to find a solution. That was enough for me to hold onto hope, but I also accepted that it might not work out. Then, I overheard their team discussing bookings, and--voila!--they made it happen! They were able to secure a minivan for me. I can honestly say the Sherman Way team is the best in the Valley! What stood out most wasn't just that they made it happen, but the empathy, patience, and teamwork they demonstrated. The calmness and dedication to providing excellent service made all the difference. This experience restored my faith in Enterprise. Thank you, Will, and the entire Sherman Way team, for your professionalism, enthusiasm, and genuine care for your customers. I'll definitely return to this branch!

More often than not, Hertz comes through strong, and for that reason, I have continued to use their services. However, my recent experiences have been disappointing. On two separate occasions, I had reserved vehicles that were "guaranteed," only to find that there were no vehicles available when I arrived. This forced me to cancel my reservation and find alternate transportation, which was incredibly inconvenient. Because Hertz usually comes through, I am giving them three stars, but if this happens a third time, I won't be so forgiving. Overall, I think Hertz is a strong and solid company, and I appreciate their rewards program. However, I believe their internal systems need updating, and their staff training probably needs some improvements as well and ultimately, I think they should hire more staff, maybe potentially integrate AI platforms or self directed solutions to exhibited certain processes, and may keep better account for their vehicles. based on my recent experiences, I can only give Hertz three out of five stars.

We have limited budget but want a comfortable 6-passenger car for our long road trip so we went with a minivan. One of the staff who was helping her politely asked "would you like to be upgraded?" My wife was hesitant cause she is used to other car rental place that charges extra if the car reserved was unavailable. She answered "no" due to the potential upgrade cost. The staff courteously asked again "are you going on a long trip?" The answer was yes. The staff said they have a more comfortable ride which was a bigger, better and newer ride - the expedition max which just arrived this morning. Long story short (which it was actually short) she came home with an expedition for the price of minivan. To top it all, everything went so smoothly. She was in and out in about 15 minutes. Everytime we come here we were treated with dignity and respect. I hope i can give more stars but 5 is the limit. Our family loves long road trips and everytime we have one we always come to this branch. Thank you Avis/Budget! You always make our vacation memorable and most of all safe and comfortable!

Car wasn't bad but if you know your cars the sequoias luggage space doesn't compare to the suburban long wheel base suv. Had no choice but to take the car and move on. Called the headquarters and they said they would refund me the difference in vehicle price. Driving from LA to Las Vegas with 7 people and having to have your luggage on your lap because of the small trunk was not a comfortable ride at all. Boy do I regret that decision. I never had any problems with enterprise. So that's who I'll be using from now on. I was given a nasty car upon pick up with no other resolutions. Customer service has been horrendous. Was told they will handle the situation when the car is dropped off and haven't heard from them since. I cleaned the car myself so I should definitely be reimbursed for a cleaning fee. I was definitely over charged as well. USE AT YOUR OWN RISK!!!! I hear they are doing horrible in the stock market. That maybe why they are cutting corners and over charging.
