Since I did own my last car for 10 years, the maintenance issues just got to where it was not economical to keep it. My father told me to check out Enterprise (rental cars) for their used car sales. I already knew I was NOT going to a car dealership. I instead found a few cars with Hertz in Killeen. I was lining up financing at my credit union and the loan officer referred me to CMC. I never would have considered buying a car from a little place on the side of the road but it turned out GREAT! I was shown a few cars that were too small but they said they had one being serviced and would be getting it back the next morning. That car turned out to be the one I purchased. I got a decent amount for my trade in and was on my way in about an hour. This NEVER happens, but I even got my plates the next day. Overall stress free and positive experience.

Who does this? Enterprise - Do better! This location has poor ratings and I have learned the hard way with no car waiting for me. I made this reservation weeks out and received multiple requests for confirmation which I completed so why were they unprepared or unwilling to fulfill my reservation. Don't rent from the Waco Enterprise locations. Just awful customer service.

The car I received was also dirty at pickup. After returning it, I was charged an additional $46.20 for "detailing," bringing my total out-of-pocket cost to $96.20. I spoke with the manager, Matt R., but never received a clear explanation. I was told there was "a lot of food" in the vehicle, which is not true--I have a 4-month-old baby, don't eat in the car, and have no pets. I returned the car in the same condition I received it, and nothing in the paperwork indicated I was responsible for professional cleaning. Enterprise typically handles cleaning between rentals, so the charge felt unjustified. I also noticed the location is hiring an automotive detailer, which raises concerns about whether staffing issues are being passed on to customers through fees.

I was told the guys at Auto Zone would put it in for me. As it turns out, my specific car is one they aren't able to replace the bulb for--liability reasons. Totally understandable. So, as the employee is stunned that I don't know ANYONE in town to install it for me, a fellow customer walks up. He asks what I need--and says that he can replace it for me quick and easy. Really?? are you sure!!?? So, he goes to his truck, pulls out his tools, and proceeds to change my light for me. My faith in Wacoans is instantly renewed. After much begging, he let's me buy him a tea from inside as thanks... He then says "it was no big deal. I own an auto repair shop nearby." So, naturally, I ask for his contact info....I am so so impressed with his kindness and if when I need ANYTHING for my car, Charles will be the first one I contact. You can tell his heart is in the right place. So, even though it was by no means a huge repair.... he did it well, put everything back where it goes, and really helped me out. Go see Charles!!! :)
