Hertz typically gives me the best car rental rate, which is the #1 factor for me and most people. Makes sense. But you surely don't want any hiccups or hassles when picking up your rental or when dropping it off. And with Hertz I cannot recall a time where the process was anything but smooth sailing. This past week I rented a car to carry us to an annual birthday bash in New Orleans. I was looking for something good on gas (when gas is over $4/gallon), comfortable but not a basic box on wheels, either. I rented a car online through a Corporate Discount Plan that I can take advantage of. That process was extremely easy, and I got a smokin' great rate! Yes! Come the day of the rental, I arrived at this Wesley Chapel Hertz location a bit early. They were pretty busy, but Nate and Johanny acknowledged my presence and advised they'd be with me shortly. No problem. In no time, Nate was getting my information together and getting me set up in a very nice rental car. I'll admit that the car I ended up with was a pleasant surprise. It was very roomy, fun to drive and great on gas, as it turns out. All of this at an excellent rate! The perfect solution... Four days later I returned in my rental ride, and Nate just happened to be there again. He seemed quite happy to hear a quick tale of our birthday bash weekend and how pleased we were with our rental. Nate was the model I view as what all Hertz employees should strive to be. He was dialed down accurate, professional and polite, with a real attention to what we needed. And THAT is what Customer Service is all about!

Car was dirty when I picked it up,…read morethe attendant dismissed me when I brought it to her attention, the process to rent was much harder. My husband has a corporate account that we've both used for years. 1st time in over 10 years we've had such an issue at Hertz. The attendant also told me to bring the car back on half a tank, but when I brought it back on half, she told me I was supposed to bring it back on 6/8. Showed me an old picture of the tank when it was more gas like I'm stupid. I checked everything at pick up. Even showed her things about the car that she hadn't noticed. The tank was actually a little less than half. This experience was such a hassle and we won't be using this location ever again! Customer service is horrible and they may be racist.

Upon arrival, we directly went inside the store and showed our booking confirmation. Upon confirming our reservation and checking the required documents, we were presented with a 7 Seater SUV which was good for our family seeing the members as well as good leg space and luggage area. The car was good, tidy, and perfect for our journey. We were impressed with Enterprise's service. We also got an email notification from Enterprise regarding customer service after drop-off. The drawback is not too much space available for parking for the customer at pick-up.

Negative area Too many call from this rental car place before and after. I rather they don't do that. Sent text messages if needed. Not too much of customers parking space for customers drop off or pickup. Not an easy access from main road. Thing to Improve Don't call for how the car satisfaction after rental. Text message or email instead call for confirmation of day pick up.

Ashley Hinds( so-called assistant manager) is rude, unprofessional, incompetent, and lair. Made a reservation for a compact Nissan for 3 days at $27+, it was confirmed by an email, confirmation number, and I even called this branch and confirmed with Harrison day before pick-up. On the day of pick up, Ashley Hinds look up my reservation and mysteriously my compact Nissan turns into an F-150 XLT pickup reservation. I told her, no I have a Nissan. I provided her confirmation and email. She said that's wrong and we don't have that reservation for a Nissan . That I was wrong. I try to show her the email and provided the confirmation number, she wasn't having it. Putting me in a bad position I say I'll take the F-150he price that was promised to me for the Nissan. She instantly became defenses said no I can't do that. I said that we have a problem I have a reservation and a confirmation for a set price and now you're trying to triple my quote. Ashley kept on saying you're wrong you modified it. I said let me talk to your branch manager, and she was in charge of the branch. (More lies) This is the point were the stand still came into play. Where she claims that she was scare and uncomfortable renting to me at this point and threatened to call the police. I told her, go ahead and waited patiently for Pasco County sheriff's office to arrive. This is the point when her other black co-worker got invovled, also rude unprofessional. Ask "what are you still doing here"? I said I'm waiting for the police.Yes, the lying incompetent Ashley Hinds called the police. 30mins + later the police showed up and heard both sides. I provided the officer with my email stating the price and Nissan, not F150. They looked at the email and instantly knew something was wrong. 10 mins later after the police arrived, magically Ashley found the Nissan reservation. Probly the point of back peddling for Ashley, because of my email. This is They offered the F150 for the quoted price. Which I asked in the very beginning. So it takes police involvement, 3 wasted hours to fix this solution. All Ashley Hinds had to do was read the email. But caught in a lie and try to up sell me and she was too cowardly to apologize. I guess she wasn't scared to rent the vehicle after all. Holly the only polite professional person took over and completed the reservation. So my advice is to stay far away from this branch, Ashley Hinds and the other black female co-worker (didn't get her name and I don't care to know either). You will waste your time, have the police called on you, and have your reservation either canceled or an upgraded vehicle at triple the price. Ashley Hinds gives females a bad name. Plays that card when someone points out a mistake. Instantly claim she scared, I'm not honoring that "you're wrong and I'm calling the police. If you want to see the email confirmation for the Nissan and the police information of the officer involved free so free to contact me.

Instead of fixing it, this shop turned my visit into a predatory cash grab. * **Unwarranted Claims:** They claimed my diverter motor was fine (it wasn't) and instead generated a list of numerous other issues. While I can't verify if those items actually needed service since I had no other symptoms, the shop fabricated customer complaints under my name that I never made, seemingly to get my third-party warranty to cover the extra work. This is unverified and the repairs themselves may be perfectly fine. * **Billing "Errors":** They tried to charge me their standard retail labor rate instead of the contractually agreed-upon warranty rate until I caught it and called them out. * **Illegal Taxing:** They attempted to charge me sales tax on top of the warranty-covered work--which is illegal in Florida. When both I and the warranty company corrected them on the law, the shop smugly claimed they were "doing me a favor" by removing the tax. * **Unfixed Issue:** They charged a $125 diagnostic fee for the AC, clearly never actually tested the diverter motor, and handed my car back to me still broken. I ultimately took my car to CarMax, who diagnosed it honestly, found the exact diverter motor issue I originally complained about, and fixed it promptly at no charge. Christian Brothers showed a lack of ethics, threw a laundry list of repairs at my car, and failed to fix the one thing I came in for. Avoid this location.
