    *I am editing this after the Enterprise manager left a comment below. I emailed as told & staff had NO CLUE how to help me. They also said they could not forward my message to her or put me in contact w/ her. SMH. Thankfully, Hertz of North Tampa rented to me & the new Wesley Chapel Hertz location opens 6/28/21* ‐------------------------------------------------------------------ Earlier today, I tried to rent from THIS LOCATION, & I was denied. I'm giving Enterprise one star because the young woman over the phone this morning was cordial & professional. (It deserves zero stars.) She had the unfortunate responsibility of informing me that Enterprise would not rent to me. (Apparently, I'm on the naughty list.) And unfortunately, my insurance company (USAA) contracts w/ Enterprise. PLEASE AVOID using this location or ANY OTHER ENTERPRISE LOCATION. You could end up as I. I do not believe Enterprise (the company) is ethical. In 2017, I rented a Jeep from Enterprise (in another Florida town) after my car had been submerged in water. I had possession of the rental for approximately 48 hours & put just 10 miles on it. (I drove it off the lot to a grocery store, then home, & later to return it to Enterprise.) I hit nothing & nothing hit me. Prior to my initial rental, I stupidly relied on the Enterprise employee to do the cursory check. At the time, I was physically disabled (hip issue) & using a cane; I was also in pain from a recent fall that put a cast on my wrist & hand. I foolishly trusted the young staffer to do a thorough &/or honest check. That did NOT occur. Upon my return of the vehicle 48 hrs later, I was informed that there was a problem. There was a dent on the hood near the antenna. Since the dent was encrusted w/ dark orange rust (& obviously impossible for me to have caused), I refused to pay damages. Soon after, I received a bill in the mail for close to $600. For about a year, Enterprise sent me repeated letters and eventually had a collection agent contact me. During that same time, I went up Enterprise's chain of command (local & corporate), even including the colored pics of the dent w/ each communication. I finally informed Enterprise that it needed to cease & desist w/ the harassment & just take me to court. I also warned Enterprise that my 829 credit rating had better remain intact. Enterprise & the collection agency never contacted me again. NOT ONCE during that year did anyone from Enterprise corporate reach out to me. NOT ONCE did anyone from Enterprise acknowledge the photo of the old dent, a dent impossible to create in two day's time. I have since befriended a man who once worked for Enterprise. He indicated that I was not the first to experience such treatment, & he eluded to unethical business practices. Whether that is true, I do not know. I do know that today I learned that I have been unfairly banned from further renting when it should be obvious to even a simpleton that the Jeep's damage preceded me. I'm also confident that Enterprise is an unprofessional company. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE be aware before you choose to rent from Enterprise. If it can happen to me, it can happen to anyone. And w/ that, I have now booked a reservation w/ Audi. Who knows, I may really enjoy driving around in style:)

    Site was okay with the hole in the seat didn't think that a smoked in car was a problem.  The only choice provided.

But you surely don't want any hiccups or hassles when picking up your rental or when dropping it off. And with Hertz I cannot recall a time where the process was anything but smooth sailing. This past week I rented a car to carry us to an annual birthday bash in New Orleans. I was looking for something good on gas (when gas is over $4/gallon), comfortable but not a basic box on wheels, either. I rented a car online through a Corporate Discount Plan that I can take advantage of. That process was extremely easy, and I got a smokin' great rate! Yes! Come the day of the rental, I arrived at this Wesley Chapel Hertz location a bit early. They were pretty busy, but Nate and Johanny acknowledged my presence and advised they'd be with me shortly. No problem. In no time, Nate was getting my information together and getting me set up in a very nice rental car. I'll admit that the car I ended up with was a pleasant surprise. It was very roomy, fun to drive and great on gas, as it turns out. All of this at an excellent rate! The perfect solution... Four days later I returned in my rental ride, and Nate just happened to be there again. He seemed quite happy to hear a quick tale of our birthday bash weekend and how pleased we were with our rental. Nate was the model I view as what all Hertz employees should strive to be. He was dialed down accurate, professional and polite, with a real attention to what we needed. And THAT is what Customer Service is all about!

My husband has a corporate account that we've both used for years. 1st time in over 10 years we've had such an issue at Hertz. The attendant also told me to bring the car back on half a tank, but when I brought it back on half, she told me I was supposed to bring it back on 6/8. Showed me an old picture of the tank when it was more gas like I'm stupid. I checked everything at pick up. Even showed her things about the car that she hadn't noticed. The tank was actually a little less than half. This experience was such a hassle and we won't be using this location ever again! Customer service is horrible and they may be racist.

    The worst experience EVER…read more Rental Confirmation # 2117180308 for a full size SUV to be picked up today at 10:30 at the Wesley Chapel location I arrive at 10:30am - one male ahead of me waiting for an SUV he had reserved - we were both told they did not have any and they are talking to other stores to see who has some - no one did. They even tried the airport (which I was told would be a higher rate than my reservation if they did have SUVs available). The local store said they did not have my phone number on file so they didn't call to tell me. (I had filled it out online) While I was waiting for the office staff to find cars I went online and was able to make a reservation for a full side SUV at the Hudson, FL location (I did get a text shortly after saying they did not have the vehicle which shows that they probably did have my phone number to begin with at Wesley chapel) but why was the reservation allowed to be made?? Does Enterprise not care that they ruin their customers vacation plans by not meeting the reservations they allow to be booked?!!!!! I left Wesley chapel and called Enterprise Corporate 1-855-266-9565 I spoke to a total of 6 people over a 6 hr period. Not once did someone call me back as all of the corporate phone center people advised. 10:55am - Patrick- never filed report for fleet manager - said someone will call me in an hour 11:49am - Jade- filing no car available form because Patrick never did- also advised someone will call me in an hour 1:03 pm - Glenn- I was told again I would be contacted by someone and I needed to "keep my line open" because Someone is looking - and they will call me in 1-2 hours (still a mystery who this someone is that would be calling me) 4:26pm - I called Ellie at corporate (no one had called me back from the 3 previous calls) She told me she doesn't handle these type of cases- she is going to escalate to someone else 4:36 - transferred to Cesar (ASSHOLE) - his recommendation is to wait for management team (local team) and that nothing will change if we continue to speak- he will explain to me again that I have to wait for someone to call me back and then he is going to disconnect the call Summation of my experience with Enterprise today: Because it's just a "reservation" there is nothing to do on their end and they could care less that they did not fulfill the reservation I made and they accepted. Disgusted!!! Can't even rate them 1 star but this platform requires it

Tampa has shifted all rental cars to a separate facility that you reach by shuttle train. The ride takes about five minutes, it runs smoothly, and in the handful of times I have used it, I have never had a delay or a hiccup. It is an easy, predictable part of the arrival routine. National is simple to find, and as an Emerald Aisle member, I still get to bypass the counter and head straight to the garage. I used to be Executive, but I am regular Emerald now, which means choosing from a slightly lower tier. That was not a problem today. For this visit, I specifically wanted a minivan and had my pick of at least a dozen, walking right past a row of SUVs and sedans to get the most boring and generic one with a Florida tag. Exiting the facility and heading to downtown was just as smooth. A friendly agent checked my ID, waved me through, and I was on the road within moments. The van itself was spotless, had fewer than 2000 miles, and ran without a single issue for the entire week. Returning the car was equally straightforward. The signage is clear, the lanes are well marked, and the whole process moves quickly. I had the email with my final receipt before I even stepped back onto the train to the terminal. Ashley Hinds( so-called assistant manager) is rude, unprofessional, incompetent, and lair. Made a reservation for a compact Nissan for 3 days at $27+, it was confirmed by an email, confirmation number, and I even called this branch and confirmed with Harrison day before pick-up. On the day of pick up, Ashley Hinds look up my reservation and mysteriously my compact Nissan turns into an F-150 XLT pickup reservation. I told her, no I have a Nissan. I provided her confirmation and email. She said that's wrong and we don't have that reservation for a Nissan . That I was wrong. I try to show her the email and provided the confirmation number, she wasn't having it. Putting me in a bad position I say I'll take the F-150he price that was promised to me for the Nissan. She instantly became defenses said no I can't do that. I said that we have a problem I have a reservation and a confirmation for a set price and now you're trying to triple my quote. Ashley kept on saying you're wrong you modified it. I said let me talk to your branch manager, and she was in charge of the branch. (More lies) This is the point were the stand still came into play. Where she claims that she was scare and uncomfortable renting to me at this point and threatened to call the police. I told her, go ahead and waited patiently for Pasco County sheriff's office to arrive. This is the point when her other black co-worker got invovled, also rude unprofessional. Ask "what are you still doing here"? I said I'm waiting for the police.Yes, the lying incompetent Ashley Hinds called the police. 30mins + later the police showed up and heard both sides. I provided the officer with my email stating the price and Nissan, not F150. They looked at the email and instantly knew something was wrong. 10 mins later after the police arrived, magically Ashley found the Nissan reservation. Probly the point of back peddling for Ashley, because of my email. This is They offered the F150 for the quoted price. Which I asked in the very beginning. So it takes police involvement, 3 wasted hours to fix this solution. All Ashley Hinds had to do was read the email. But caught in a lie and try to up sell me and she was too cowardly to apologize. I guess she wasn't scared to rent the vehicle after all. Holly the only polite professional person took over and completed the reservation. So my advice is to stay far away from this branch, Ashley Hinds and the other black female co-worker (didn't get her name and I don't care to know either). You will waste your time, have the police called on you, and have your reservation either canceled or an upgraded vehicle at triple the price. Ashley Hinds gives females a bad name. Plays that card when someone points out a mistake. Instantly claim she scared, I'm not honoring that "you're wrong and I'm calling the police. If you want to see the email confirmation for the Nissan and the police information of the officer involved free so free to contact me.
