3.5 stars Even with a pick up time scheduled, you may be left waiting. It hasn't been like this the other times we've picked up. My husband waited at least 20 minutes to be helped. We've probably been here at least 4 times in the past year. The car we got this time was okay, the paper in the car about how well it was cleaned is just for show. There are always several spots that are missed. My husband has been the one who interacts with the workers, but 3/4 times pick up has been fairly seamless. We have done drop off it's been on Sundays so we have just used the drop box. read more

The store was packed and only 1 person working the counter. The agent asked so many questions that seemed unusual for a rental car company to ask. Paystubs, proof of address, what kind of car I drive, where I'm going and with who, the company I work for, etc. I've never been asked these questions before. I prepaid and had a credit card. A few months back, when times were simple and we could leave our homes on a whim, I decided to take a road trip down to Southern Utah. A day prior to leaving, I reserved a car through Enterprise's website. Though not exclusive to West Jordan, it is worth noting that, on such short notice, and over a holiday weekend, not all of the local Enterprises had the same, or even any availability, but persevere as, after trying a couple different locations, I was able to find what I was seeking. I arrived about a half hour prior to my scheduled pick up time, and the car was ready. Be aware, there is no parking available at this small location. The gentleman who assisted me (I asked, but unfortunately immediately forgot his name) was so, so nice! Normally, car rental businesses are so serious and unfriendly, but he was conversational and pleasant. They did not try to give me a vehicle different from what I had reserved, and the whole thing took maybe five minutes at most. I have had experiences at competing car rental companies that lasted over thirty! Drop off was at another location, and easy peasy as it was after hours and you just toss the key in their box. I received a confirmation email promptly the following morning. Recently, I have rented many vehicles, and come to the conclusion that Enterprise is your best bet. read more

Matt is absolutely fantastic. I was here hanging out waiting for my rental to be ready. What I witness was pretty cool. He greeted everyone with a smile. There was a huge line of people waiting to be served, but you didn't notice the long wait because of how friendly Matt and his staff were. He answered every phone call with a smile, gracefully helped complaining customers, repeatedly said thank you and please to his entire team. Michael was great, he saw I needed some assistance after a trying 3 days and did everything he could to make my experience a better one than the other car rental locations I went to. The car was clean and smelled like it, the only thing wrong with the car at the time was that the passenger door handle on the inside was not working due to the previous person who had it. My experience is specifically related to their credit card policy. I run my business off of a PayPal account and have a business PayPal card. They will not take a PayPal card, which makes it impossible to rent a car. Their response was that the card is a "prepaid debit card". Aren't ALL debit cards prepaid? Isn't that the point? The traditional banking system is currently on its way out with the introduction of payment solutions like Venmo. It's shocking to me that a rental car company won't take my PayPal Mastercard when it's what I use for 99% of all other purchases. read more

When I first called I was told they didn't have any cars on the lot. Then when they finally got a car they had 1, so it was take it or leave it. I called a few days later to swap out to a different car and they told me again they had zero cars to choose from. They told me they would call me when they got a different car in, it's been 2 days. Horrible service. We picked up a rental car and I pointed out a few scrapes. I was told that these were not the type of things that they look for or worry about and that it was not major damage. Upon returning the car the person walked directly to the damage before inspecting the rest of the car and said that the damage was not there before and want to collect a deductible. Dec 22 there are very few cars available in the valley. The West Jordan location was extremely accommodating and made sure I had what I needed! Super friendly and fast service. They even checked the tire pressure on the car before I left! read more

If I could give zero stars, I would. After being promised a specific car, we showed up 10 minutes later only to find that same car being rented to someone else at the counter. We were offered a truck in return, when one of us has an injury from a car accident and needed a smoother ride. These guys are idiots. Don't rent here! read more

We rented a 1/2 ton pickup truck today and were SUPPOSED to pick it up at 9:00am. We showed up and we were told that there was no truck available. I asked them if they could call any other locations to see if they had one or what could be done. Finally, they located one and it just happened to be getting its oil changed and that I would have to wait! The employee at the front desk was NO HELP. I'm still waiting and stranded 3 hours later waiting for a truck or a phone call. read more

I travel roughly 50% of the time for work and am very loyal to brands that I find are convenient when traveling so regularly. Enterprise had been a brand I found to fit that need and was very friendly at nearly all of the branches. This location in particular was excellent and always seemed appreciative of my business. I live nearby and would rent from them frequently to travel to work territories 100 miles or more from my home, but close enough to not require a flight. Within the past few months, I've seen a bit of a decline in quality here. They aren't bad, but they aren't great, and I definitely don't feel as valued as I once did. That could simply be a matter of perception, though, and I don't want to nit-pick how they treat their guests when that isn't their greatest opportunity. More times than not, I've gotten into a car after receiving the keys and had either low tire pressure, a near-empty fuel tank, empty washer fluid, or a "Maintenance Required" light on. I don't have time or patience for taking a rental car to fill up with gas that should have been there, or to an auto shop to have a car looked into that I am paying to borrow. I also don't feel safe renting cars with questionable maintenance. read more

Five stars for excellent service! I rented a car earlier this week from the Salt Lake City airport. When my warning light went on this morning, I gave the closest branch a call. Even though I did not rent from this particular location, they added air to my tires and made sure that my car was safe to drive. They could not have been kinder or more helpful! read more

Enterprise was great. They gave me two courtesy calls, and then when Geico screwed up, they were great and resolved the issue.

Best Service ever. The two guys went out of their way at this location to locate me the exact car required for the rental. More then a pleasure to work with and the communication back and forth was excellent. Treat you like a valued customer unlike some of the airport locations.
