It truly is the sweet spot between a tent and RV. We didn't need to bring a bunch of cooking and tent supplies on the plane but we were still able to camp which was important for us. We like to tent camp and thought an RV would be too constricting for exploring. The set up inside the van was near perfect. We didn't actually use the sink but everything else was perfect down to the window drapes, hooks, charging setup and comfortable bed. Having the refrigerator was key. No need to hunt for ice everyday! We made other campervan users jealous everywhere we went. Comparing our van setup with others confirmed we made the right choice. Yes it's a little pricey but very competitive. We felt we got great value for what we paid. I encourage folks to get the basic insurance package too. It provided peace of mind and paid for a rock chip in the windshield. The rental process was easy and went smoothly and the owners/employees were helpful and friendly. We're pretty hooked on the #vanlife and hope to do it again.

For our second trip we rented for nearly 3 weeks and basically at the start of our trip the alternator that charges the Li Ion batteries broke. We survived for a few days by using solar to recharge the batteries than run the water pumps etc, and using a butane stove to cook, instead of the induction cook top, but long term this was not going to work. It took a while, with several frustrating WhatsApp calls made challenging by limited WiFI and cell access, to trouble shoot what had gone wrong with the van, but in the end it all worked out. Kellville arranged to drive an identical camper van from SLC to Canyonlands, a 300 mile one way trip, to swap out our broken van. This is above and beyond customer service given the remote location where we were camping.

The Jeep was as advertised with all equipment that was to be included. We loved the convenience of having a comfortable black out tent on top of the vehicle. My boyfriend is 6'2" and had no problems fitting and being able to lay out on the bed. The kitchen equipment and cooler made meal preparation easy at each camp site. We had no problems with the vehicle, and loved the ability to go off-road and access free camping spots that regular vehicles cannot reach. Checkout was also a snap. As long as no late hidden charges are added we have had a top-notch adventure that was worth every penny we paid for it. We booked a roof tent car months ago with SLC indie campers. There, we discovered worst ever level of services and terrible car offer. At first, we had been given a downgraded model without early notice. After 2 hours lost at the agency and being told by the local manager that we could have our intial model and some compensation, the call center (and not local team) told us we would get neither the initial car nor any kind of compensation. No flexibility, no client services, no clear answers, unpleasant agent... After that, we discovered that the tank of the given car was almost empty, but no worries we could " drop off with the same level of gas ". Mistake: in the end we have been charged with 50€ extra as no full tank ?! Then, we booked some additional options, do not do it! Camping tables not cleaned, dirty cooking kit, broken coffee machine, empty gas cylinders or disgusting blankets... After weeks of discussion with useless AI bot on whatsapp and technical troubles, I can definitely say that this is the worst car renting experience after dozens of rents during our trips abroad

We tried everything to get an appointment with the Newmar dealers in Salt Lake City to no avail. Then, along came Advanced RV and motorsports to our rescue with DJ the general manager, Dave the owner, along with his son Justin and Mike their ace mechanic.While there they repaired 2 other items that needed service as well. Additionally since we were waiting for parts for a couple of days they allowed us to stay in their gated lot behind their service and sales center in our motor home. Incidentally, when it came time to pay the bill they were more than fair with their charge for services rendered.
