Entertainment Express DJ'd for my mom's celebration of life event. They did great working with me and getting intro/ after ceremony music. They had a wireless mic on the podium and made it easy for guests to give speeches and talk. For sanitation, they had a mic cover that was changed out between speakers. Evan and Brett had great communication and got back to me quickly. I shared a Spotify playlist with them which helped gage the music. I also sent them some videos via iCloud to play for the ceremony which was displayed on a TV. Numerous guests commented how great the music was and they were organized. They recommended a videographer, Zeke, who was able to live stream part of the event to include others who were unable to attend. I do need to preface this by correcting a prior review, you do not "pretty much have to go with" Entertainment Express if you have your wedding at Padua Hills. It is not a requirement, rather a convenience because they are already set up at the venue. And I will say, this convenience, isn't just that, it is an absolutely wonderful thing that they work closely with the venue. We hired Entertainment Express primarily because I wanted all the shabang that was exhibited in their light show. We wanted the option to choose our led/house lights arrangements, bubbles, fog, projection equipment if need be. I requested Brett due to all the praise he's garnered from former reviewers, and I must say, not just for myself, but on my husband's behalf -- he exceeded our expectations. Every single time I met up with him and leading up to the actual timeline planning, Brett gave me his undivided attention and gave me such useful advice/feedback. After all, he had done so many weddings, and this was my, well...one. I valued his honesty about timing and song options. We even high fived over my very awesome musical choices (say toto and tears for fears?!) They were responsive with emails and I was able to change up my timeline well after the "cut off" point. I recall even making impromptu changes on the day off, and Brett handled them all professionally. On the day of, he came by the bridal room to see me, dressed in a very nice black on black suit (it's like he read my mind!) and went over all our details, and asked us if anything needed to be amended. He ran the ceremony, basically invisibly held our entire bridal party's hands through it all, without a blink or a scoff. It was damn near perfect with exception to our own forgetfulness and teeny errors. He was with us the whole reception, made announcements as I requested and changed the time line for unexpected things that I had to throw in last minute. He had Pepsi ready for my groom at any given time (this was groom's only stipulation) and tended to us despite being super busy with everything else. He was just a pleasure to have on our team. At the end of the night, the new hubby and I reveled over how on point Brett was and how lucky we were to have him. Well, he thought it was luck, it was my pure intuition I'd say! We had our wedding on July 1st at Padua Hills and made the right decision to also work with Entertainment Express as the entertainment company. While yes, Padua Hills is a beautiful venue with a phenomenal aerial view of the city, with mouth-watering catering and breathtaking architecture, Entertainment Express was the golden-dipped cherry on top of a wonderfully perfect sundae. We had originally planned a wedding for July 2020, so we had been working with Brett + The Gang since August of 2019!! They remained communicative, friendly, and extremely welcoming for three years, and made our wedding the literal best day of our lives. They have done so many weddings at Padua Hills Theatre, so we decided to go with them. We saw their work from previous weddings & we loved it. We had the pleasure of working with Evan. He's amazing. I just held my wedding here a couple weeks ago and I cannot say enough good things about Entertainment Express and their staff. My now husband and I visited Padua Hills over a year ago and part of the reason why we booked the venue was because of Entertainment Express. We were wandering the property when someone from EE asked us if we wanted to a see a light show. (Of course, we laughed and thought it was a joke because we all know what "light show" could really mean) but when we started laughing it off, we realized he was serious. He took the time to show us all the features in their state of the art sound and projection system that they had invested into Padua Hills and it immediately got us hooked as it transformed the atmosphere into a club and we love a good party. Throughout the process, they were very helpful. Even when we were visiting the venue to speak with the Padua coordinators, the EE staff was always around (since their office is based there) and would answer any questions and offer advice even if it had nothing to do with their services. When it came time to ironing out the details, our MC Evan was extremely patient and helpful in the planning process. Plus, he has a good laugh so it just makes you happy to be around him.
