We went with Entertainment Express because we had our wedding at Padua and you pretty much have to go with them since all their equipment is already set up in the reception area. Anyway, we had a couple of pretty good meetings with our DJ (or so we thought it would be our DJ), and we really had a connection with him and he understood what we were going for. A couple of weeks before our wedding, we found out he wasn't going to be our DJ and told us Heather would be doing our wedding. We were very disappointed and asked to meet with her so she understands what kind of music we wanted to play. We showed up to the meeting and Heather was not there and one of the other associates was like, "So, what can I do for you?" As if they didn't even know we were going to be there that day to meet with Heather. He assured us she had years and years of experience and that we were in good hands. On the wedding day, the MC was great, but the DJ seemed amateur. She played some Spanish music, which we liked, but she then started playing reggaeton which we checked that we did not want played. It was already halfway through the dance time and she hadn't even started playing any of our songs from our PLAY LIST. That's when my husband (the groom) had to go up to her and tell her to start playing our songs. She didn't know how to make transitions and would play the songs almost in it's entirety. Aren't DJ's supposed to mix it up just a little bit ?? If I would have known, I would have made a c.d. ahead of time to give to her and had her push play. Evan and his team were absolute perfection at my wedding, before my wedding, and I'm positive they continue to be perfection at every other wedding after mine. Evan was our master of ceremonies so husband and I mainly worked with him. To say that he does more than expected would be an understatement. From the moment we contracted with them, they were in constant contact with us. We met with Evan once about a 6 weeks before the wedding and during that visit we picked our music and put together a rough timeline. After the timeline was made, we added and took out so many things and they were accommodating every time. About 1 month before the wedding, we hired a wedding coordinator and changed photographers which changed the timeline quite a bit. We had another meeting with Evan and our wedding coordinator and entertainment express worked so well together that I just stepped back and let them take over. Guests are still telling me it was the most fun wedding they've been to and I credit that entertainment express. Along side of Padua we also got to book Entertainment Express. We were a little hesitant because we already had a DJ we wanted. But boy, we didn't have any regrets. Not only do they MC or DJ for you but they handle the lighting as well (which always puts that extra pretty touches to the reception). BUT wait..they also help you coordinate your rehearsal (at Padua) and help you plan your timeline for the day. Detailed to the very second. They made everything a breeze. Alongside the Padua staff, Brett (our MC and also the person who helped us plan and coordinate our wedding) really made sure our plans were executed gracefully and smoothly. Its said that expect things to go wrong on your wedding day ( and it sort of did...but it was mine and my husbands fault for forgetting something at home) but with the help of Entertainment Express...everything went perfect. We felt well taken care of..Brett even made sure we sat down to eat our dinner. Who needs a wedding planner when you have them...and if you have your wedding at the venue they're located in...its a bonus because they work hand in hand with the Padua staff. We just got married on Saturday and we were so impressed with Brett and Heather at Entertainment Express! They do extensive work with you in advance to ensure they know exactly what you want, how to pronounce everyone's names, and they even ask you all the right questions to put together a detailed timeline of everything that occurs during the wedding. Then during the wedding Brett did a fabulous job in keeping everyone moving from place to place, and letting us know when the last song was about to play. We got everyone who was still there back on the dance floor and had an awesome time dancing to our last song. With Entertainment Express (and Padua Hills Theatre coordinator), you don't need to pay for a day of wedding coordinator - they work seamlessly, and really made our day perfect! Brett with entertainment express was phenomenal! My husband and I had our original May 2020 wedding canceled due to Covid. After months of realizing Covid was not going away anytime soon we decided to do a small ceremony only "Kiss Package" in October 2020 with Padua Hills Theatre. Brett went above and beyond to make us feel taken care of. It was him and his team that made this day run perfect! Anytime we contacted him and his team, they replied quickly! They even would follow up with us after meetings a day or two later to see if any other questions came up. When we had challenges contacting the venue or our cake vendor, he stepped in and helped! They blew us away at the tour of the venue after my fiancé and I got engaged and they blew us away a year later at our own wedding. I would say of all the weddings I have ever attended and be a part of, this is the most professional company I have ever worked with. First, I would give Entertainment Express 100 stars, 5 simply is not enough! Entertainment Express is the preferred vendor at my venue- Padua HIlls theatre. Overall my experience was beyond amazing... from start to finish. We worked with Brett the entire time and he was wonderful. My wedding was on 10/25/2015 and it was my dream wedding! EE did a great job ensuring everything went as planned. Consultation: Our wedding consultation which happened a month before our wedding and we sat with Brett and delineated a minute by minute itinerary of the ceremony and reception. He provided us with music samples and made great recommendations as far as song choice. Day of services: The day went by smoothly! EE is hooked up to the ceremony space so the music flowed through the entire space and sounded even. Also, they hooked my husband and the officiant up to mics so that way everyone was able to listen and actually hear our ceremony. The timing went smoothly and everyone commented on how the music really made an impact during the ceremony. Reception: Brett did great with timing. We were behind to start the grand entrance because my dress was not cooperating during the bustling. Brett saved the day by adjusting the timeline appropriately and no one even noticed! This is kind of a late review, but it's based on our wedding on 6/9/17. The initial meeting was so easy and the staff made us feel comfortable with the entire planning. My wife and I are generally very structured, so we were pleased with the forms that they had us fill out as far as type of music we liked and the order in which the songs would be played. As the wedding day approached, we never felt any anxiety about the ceremony and music and that was a huge plus. They did such a wonderful job during our reception at The Padua Theater.
