Burrata with a grilled peach- YUM!
    Ryen B.

Entrada is the upscale restaurant at Gateway Canyon Resort. The location (literally in the middle of nowhere) and the fact that it is, afterall a resort, should warn you that this place is pricey. Not sure that it was worth the pricetag, but the food was very good and the servers were fantastic. We started with a few cocktails in the lounge. They have some great local gins and whiskeys behind the bar. My negroni was on-point. The old fashioned on the cocktail menu was terrible- so watered down- so B switched to just a bourbon neat after that. Dinner on the patio started with a few different kinds of bread and a yummy honey butter. The burrata appetizer was a fab deal- a good size ball of creamy cheese with a few slices of tomato and a perfectly ripe grilled peach- yum! We were disappointed by the beet and hearts of palm salad- though tasty, it was a really small serving. Not worth the price. On to the main course. B ordered the salmon- perfectly cooked and served with a rich, delish risotto. I ordered the only vegetarian option- spaghetti squash with pesto- very good, but not a lot of food. We were both still hungry, so ordered the lentil "pate" which came with some tasty cornichons and pickled onions- yum! Want to try to make this at home. Warm chocolate lava cake with vanilla ice cream was a tasty way to end the meal. If you are staying at the resort- you'll be happy to know there is a very good restaurant on the property with servers who are friendly and attentive. Just be ready to pay for it.

Miserable excuse for a birthday treat after a really bad dinner

I told the hotel front desk that it was my birthday. I then made a reservation at the fine dining restaurant. I did not expect anything special for my bday but for the price I did expect decent service and food. I got neither. I have to say the dirty martini was excellent but the rest of the meal was dismal. The lamb shank was cold and it took forever for me to be able to tell the waiter much less get it replaced. It was fine when it was served hot but nothing special. I insisted on a free glass of wine which they did. I reminded the waiter that it was my birthday but he had no idea. I asked for a simple dish of vanilla ice cream and it took so long to get that. He did put a single candle on this sloppy mess and said happy birthday. He also kept calling me dear. Which I find condescending. After the bill was presented, I asked the waiter "Imagine this was your birthday. "I ended up going to the other restaurant in the resort and was treated so nice thanks to Claire.

They were a hit! Be warned: these are not personal pizzas; this can easily be shared with 2-3 people. We also got 2 salads (their mozzarella and bread on the side is delightful) and a pasta alla bolognese. But the pizza is the real star of the show here: they handmake it in front of you, put it in the woodfire oven, and serve it to you fresh.

We were pretty excited to see a Neapolitan pizza and pasta restaurant in Moab. The reviews looked…read moresolid, and from what I remembered from our last visit many years ago, there were not many pizza options in town. We ordered the Salsiccia e Funghi, a sausage and mushroom pizza, along with the mussels in white wine sauce appetizer, homemade Italian cream sodas, and one additional limonata soda. The pizza was okay, but not the quality I would expect from a polished Neapolitan-style pizza place, especially at this price point. The mussels appetizer had potential because white wine sauce is exactly the kind of dish we usually enjoy with bread. Before ordering, I specifically asked about the bread because we like having enough to sop up the broth, the way you would expect at a good Italian restaurant. Our waitress said she would bring as much bread as we wanted. There were three of us, and the appetizer came with three pieces of bread. Given the earlier conversation, we later asked for three more pieces. The request seemed to bother her. When she delivered the extra bread, sensing her frustration, we said she could add it to the bill, and she told us she already had. That was frustrating because we had just discussed it before ordering. We were attempting to be more gracious, and she missed the mark with her response. She could have said ok, or thank you, or "no it's ok I told you could have as much bread as you wanted for the mussels" The mussels themselves were also uneven. Several had not opened during cooking, which is generally a sign that they should not be served or eaten. With mussels, the usual food-safety rule is: if they do not open during cooking, do not eat them. The FDA's consumer seafood guidance says clams, mussels, and oysters should open during cooking, and the ones that do not open should be thrown out. That made us question the quality control and preparation of the dish. The cream sodas were mixed. The berry version was delicious, but the mango version missed the mark. It was not sweet at all and tasted like the mango may not have been ripe. A little simple syrup, or ripe mango, would have helped a lot. The unripe mango soda ends up tasting a little like pine sol smells. We were also disappointed because the prices were more in line with what we would expect from a higher-quality meal. For the items noted above, plus one additional limonata soda, the meal came to over $60. I typically tip over 20%, but I took the extra bread charge off the tip, and the tip was still over 17%. Overall, this was not a terrible experience, but it was disappointing compared with what we were hoping for. The food had some good ideas, but several details felt off, and the service created a communication gap that left a bad impression.

I called ahead to order pick up and arrived to smiling greetings. I was looking for a healthy menu and this place is the holy grail! The menu is just perfect, with lots of delicious options..that are also healthy! I had the fresh Juice #3 carrot, beet, orange juice and I cannot talk this juice up enough!! The online menu says Juice #3 is cucumber, celery, apple but the online menu is not correct so just make sure if you order a number juice you ask what the ingredients are. However, it was the most delicious drink I've ever tasted. I won't forget to mention that their chicken avocado wraps and Strawberry & banana rolls are clearly made with love...and fresh ingredients full of flavor!! Rama's Bistro is a new must-stop-through for me every time I'm in the area, and I recommend everyone!

My friend ordered before me and they accidentally rang her up for the wrong order, unbeknownst to us. The redhead kid that brought out our food had a serious lack of a good attitude and was not very friendly. He brought out the food, we realized he had the incorrect meal. Instead of getting the correct order, he brought out the receipt to show us what we ordered, which had been rung up incorrectly. We asked him for the right item, to which he then went back in, had ANOTHER employee come out to show us the same receipt?? And then my friend felt so bad because they were being so ridiculous about it that she took the incorrect order. She said that the redhead has an unfriendly attitude every time she has come to Eatery 66. My friend is super sweet and kind, and just wanted her Hawaiian burger. Sadly won't be coming back due to service.
