They are anchored by a few big stores such as Dillard's, Macy's and JCPenney, have several quintessential mall stores such as Hot Topic, Bath & Body Works and Finish Line...and of course they are connected to the famed mall restaurant, Cheesecake Factory. There are a few open spots along each floor, but for the most part, it appears that the mall is at least 70 - 75% occupied. One end of the mall is definitely slower than the other, which makes sense as the food court is on one end, and it is the more active and "happening" part of the mall. While most stores are chain, there are a few local spots from coffee shops, barbers, artists and even massage spots. The mall was clean and in decent shape for what it is. It is dated and you can tell no resources have been put into it recently. Overall, okay indoor mall that serves its purpose and doing good by hanging on!

The plaza is always clean and I love that it's lit with white twinkle lights all year. I find that there is plenty of parking. What's missing is a nice locally owned coffee shop. The complex is clean, well mapped out and has an okay amount of options for shopping, but could use a few more casual spots in both retail and dining. Overall, solid place to wander around and spend a few hours of an afternoon at.

There's a wonderful olive oil shop with some of the finest selections, along with a few restaurants, cozy courtyards featuring a large TV screen, a stage for concerts, cafés, a bakery, and even a farmers market on weekends. The Joesler-style architecture is cozy and inviting and every corner is simply beautiful. After a hot yoga session at the Yoga POD, you can pop into the Ice Box for cryotherapy, grab an ice cream or coffee with friends, or plan a relaxed date night with your significant other. It's truly the perfect place to fall in love with authentic Sonoran charm. Try it !

The store has broad selection of seasonal and year-round wares that are colorful and interesting. All the above said, I have two issues with the place. First, the seasonal products like Talavera and pottery are priced higher than other merchants by 20% and I think that may be due to their location and the amount of inventory--my best advice is to wait for a sale. Second is the lack of a public restroom which I find ridiculous--they advertise on social media so their audience is broad, after a two-hour trip being told you can use a restroom at Trader Joe's is ridiculously inconvenient. Would I recommend The Happy Saguaro? Yes and no, if you're in the area or enroute to other destinations, it's worth a stop. If you're looking for something in particular you have to have, call and it can be worth the drive but realize you may be paying for it.
