Whenever I saw him, I knew that I had his full attention and that he was not hurrying to see his next patient. In each of my visits with him, his staff was wonderful, kind, sincere and professional. For each of the two surgeries, the staff was great, again explaining everything and not hurrying and concerned that I not feel any discomfort. The staff asked a lot of questions and for each set of questions, two different staff members each asked the same questions which was comforting that they take such care to make sure that someone had not missed something important. And during the surgery for which I was anesthetized only to be relaxed, Dr. Futterman explained each step and made sure that I was not discomforted. He bestows a great gift, the ability to see. He cares about you as a person.

Other physicians and PAs have suggested allergy medications, ointments and ocular specialists. Failing to find such a physician in my own service, I chose a specialist based on Yelp and Google reviews. He noted an irritation on the edge of the eyelid and suggested cleaning with baby shampoo followed by warm compresses as necessary. Son-of-a-gun, it worked!!!!!

In all, he was able to put us at ease and let us know our daughter would be just fine. We are so grateful they fit us in, so we only had one night yesterday without sleep, rather than many nights otherwise waiting to get in for an appointment. So yes, you may have to wait longer to see the doctor but that's because they are taking time with each patient, just as they will take time with you.
