Whenever I saw him, I knew that I had his full attention and that he was not hurrying to see his next patient. In each of my visits with him, his staff was wonderful, kind, sincere and professional. For each of the two surgeries, the staff was great, again explaining everything and not hurrying and concerned that I not feel any discomfort. The staff asked a lot of questions and for each set of questions, two different staff members each asked the same questions which was comforting that they take such care to make sure that someone had not missed something important. And during the surgery for which I was anesthetized only to be relaxed, Dr. Futterman explained each step and made sure that I was not discomforted. He bestows a great gift, the ability to see. He cares about you as a person.

I did give it 4 stars because the staff is good and the results were amazing. Another con is they reschedule almost all the time because the Dr is out of town, now I don't think it's the staff's fault since they can't dictate if he will return back on time but that does cause a bit of an inconvenience.

I called and they told me well nothing we could do the system was down - I said yes but by now you should have called to reschedule. Next available appointment is 3 weeks from now - dad may be blind by then! Need a new office staff or a business manager or something! I don't care how good the doctor may or may not be - this is not how you run a business or treat people.

My eyes itched as I woke up, in the afternoon, at field work at nature center, at night - almost all darn day. Other physicians and PAs have suggested allergy medications, ointments and ocular specialists. Failing to find such a physician in my own service, I chose a specialist based on Yelp and Google reviews. He noted an irritation on the edge of the eyelid and suggested cleaning with baby shampoo followed by warm compresses as necessary. Son-of-a-gun, it worked!!!!!

It shows they care for their patients. Nurse Dawn took a detailed history for our daughter (who had gotten a scary read from an optometrist yesterday). Dawn made us all very comfortable as she did some initial tests. And when we saw Dr Ravage, he was efficient, but thorough, reassuring and informative. In all, he was able to put us at ease and let us know our daughter would be just fine. We are so grateful they fit us in, so we only had one night yesterday without sleep, rather than many nights otherwise waiting to get in for an appointment. So yes, you may have to wait longer to see the doctor but that's because they are taking time with each patient, just as they will take time with you.
