My friend and I stayed for two nights to follow a band playing at Gillette Stadium. We called about an early check-in, and the front desk person was fantastic. With traffic, we managed to get there at 3. Then we arrived, checked into our room, and the AC wasn't working, and there was a large brown spot on the bed. I called three times over the course of two hours. I asked if they could send a repairman, give us an upgrade, or just a different room, to which they responded that there were no other rooms available and that there was nothing they could do. I think the whole situation could have been improved if the staff had given us a realistic timeline for when our room might be ready, or at least offered alternatives to make us more comfortable, such as cold drinks, or letting us wait in a cooler area. Even just checking in on us with updates would have helped so we felt less ignored. I finally walked up to the desk when nobody was sent, and a very kind manager said she would check it out. When the repairman left our room, we were still stuck without an answer, and returned to the front desk. We said, "We're not picky; we just want an air-conditioned room. We're so hot." The woman at the front desk said, "We feel the same up here with no AC." Finally, we were able to get another room and dropped off our stuff, arriving at the concert just in time. The second room had working AC and looked a bit nicer, but it still wasn't clean. There was mold in the bathroom, another stain on the bed, and we caught about ten bugs that night. The lack of cleanliness made it impossible to relax or feel comfortable. It felt like basic sanitation and upkeep were not a priority here. There are employees here who I can tell are really wonderful and want the place to succeed; it's just getting through 4 or 5 other employees who don't care that makes it impossible. My friend and I planned for this concert for ages and almost missed the beginning after asking for the basics, and then "upgraded" to a room that was less than acceptable. This is the second time staying at this hotel for a dance competition. The hotel has such incredible potential. When you walk in you are greeted by the front desk, which opens up to an absolutely stunning atrium with plenty of tables and chairs, couches, and a pool table. There is fun lighting, and different levels for the seating, so it is very aesthetically pleasing. There are hotel rooms on the left-hand side with balconies that overlook this atrium area. The actual convention room for the dance competition is also beautiful and well maintained. The reason for the three star review is because I had to balance out the entrance area with the actual hotel rooms. The hotel rooms are slightly dated and in desperate need of maintenance. There are stains on the ceiling, on the walls, missing blinds, no vent in the bathroom, the toilet is super tall, and there are bleach spots and marks on the ceilings, walls and floor of the hallway. The hallway has a musty, moldy smell as many other Yelpers have pointed out. The room also has a musty smell however we are using the dehumidifier that was already in the room, in addition to plug-ins, deodorizing spray, and Lysol spray. With paying $245 per room I would expect more. The website shows gorgeous pictures but when we got to our room, this is what we had. There is one elevator, you walk 1/2 a mile to your room and it smelled like they dumped bottles of cleaner in the hallways- which were completely stained. This is not a full service Hotel, no blow dryer in room light bulbs out for 2 of the 3 days no maid service even after specifically requesting at 9:02am got back to the room and it still wasn't cleaned no clean towels available because no one can bring them to room. However if u want to go take a 10 minute walk through snow you can get another room key get light bulbs and pick up towels and then return the room key back to front desk which would take around 30-50 minutes walking in freezing weather with snow. read more

We booked this hotel through Airbnb for a concert that was unfortunately canceled. Before making any changes, I spoke with Ana at the front desk, who told me that as long as Airbnb approved the reservation change, the hotel would honor it and allow us to move our stay to a different date. Unfortunately, that is not what happened. I spent the entire day making phone calls between airbnb and the hotel, only to recieve three different explanations from three different staff members as to why they would not honor what I had orginally been told. The lack of consistency, communication and professionalism was incredibly frustrating. What disappointed me most wasn't that the request was ultimately denied but it was the conflicting information and complete LACK of accountability. The manager, Ana, was not helpful in resolving the situation, and the overall experience felt unprofessional. This experience left a poor taste in my mouth. I would have appreciated clear, consistent communication from the beginning instead of spending hours trying to resolve an issue that could have been handled much more professionally. read more

This hotel used to be gorgeous. What was once a massive lobby that looked like part of paradise with plush foliage throughout. Is now wide open with olive and golden rugs. The lobby was extremely Loud, nothing in place to soften the noise. If I were to guess, I'd say the plumbing hasn't been updated in forever....Toilets had to be flushed at least twice just to get paper to flush. Long wait for hot water and very little water pressure. The light fixtures looked like halogen. The beds were comfortable, but the heat didn't work properly. We changed rooms from a room with no heat to a room with too much heat. The buffet.... In the .80s, the buffet had a roast beef carving station, omelets to order, pastries that made you plump just looking at them, seafood... everything you could ask for, cooked to perfection. Now, for $16. You can pour yourself lukewarm coffee, have powdered egg mix with warm sausage and salty home fried potatoes. The lobby offers coffee and tea 24-7. But they're only hot until 10:30 am The onsite restaurant is open Thursday-Sunday, but they closed at 5 pm Thursday. They don't seem to have established a rapport with any of the local businesses, so from desk couldn't recommend anything near by, even though some of the best restaurants are within 5 miles I went there with super high expectations and was disappointed at every turn. read more

I've stayed at this hotel twice for a training and it's only getting 3 stars for my first stay. This second time is awful. The hotel room on the second floor I had this time wasn't good. Stained floors, tub that didn't drain, loud fan in the bathroom that couldn't be turned off that you could hear from bed. No fridge. No clock!!! The first floor hotel room I had a few months ago I was impressed by. Had a fridge and microwave - 2 beds. The $16 breakfast buffet is not worth the money. We're using a conference room and they didn't clean it overnight as promised. We're booked here for 2 more trainings so I will be back but not looking forward to it. read more

Very disappointed in our stay. First we were put in the very back of the hotel with no balcony or porch area, when the rest of our party had that and we booked as a group. Next the exterior door nearest our room would not open in the evening hours, which is disparaging and inhospitable. There was the smell of weed in our hall during our entire stay, completely unacceptable. The bathtub drained so slow that by the end of a quick shower I was standing in water above my ankles. The bedding was second rate. The curtains had holes in them. The room also had 2 connecting room doors that were anything but private (could hear the occupants in the other rooms) and one door didn't even lock. The main lobby and pool area were satisfactory, however the rest of my experience was quite poor. If you have an option to stay elsewhere I would. I will not be using this hotel in the future considering the terrible experience I had. Again I am very disappointed in nearly every aspect of my stay. read more

If I could give it zero I would. I'm here for the weekend for an Elks banquet. The entire hotel smells like mold & Lysol. My room is damp, the carpet is damp to walk on and my clothes were damp after I hung them up. The O-ring on the toilet leaks onto the bathroom floor. The banquet food (braised beef, veggies & potatoes) was awful; the beef was so over cooked I couldn't even cut through it. When I asked the front desk for a dehumidifier, they said they were all currently being used in other rooms. The pillows are flat, so if you have to stay here either bring your own or ask for extras upon check-in. My only positive is that the shower water pressure is good. I've stayed here in the past and it was okay-ish, I don't know what's happened. read more

One of the worst places we've stayed. We stayed there a couple of years ago and it was much better. We were told the room was just redone and we were the 1st people in it. The ceiling was bubbling and peeling the caulking in the bathroom was horrendous. The cover kept falling off whenever the AC kicked on and my wife had to dry her hair with the heater because the hairdryer was broken. All in all a horrible stay! read more

Terrible, weird, dark hotel! The hallways are very long, dark and sketchy looking. It is a very big hotel and there feels like there is barely any staff there. It's just setup awkward and has an uncomfortable feel to it - not just me but everyone in our travel hockey group felt the same way about it. The pool area - although it is nice that it is indoors - had these sandbox like "planters" around the outside and they had cigarette butts and what not in them and were exceptionally dirty. All in all the staff that we did see were very nice and didnt complain about our 8-9 year olds running around. This hotel just gave everybody a bad feeling and would definitely not stay here again. read more

I just got home from the police station and this is what I get for trying to get away for a couple days I stayed at This hotel for a couple nights just to get away with a friend. The first night she came and we went out to dinner. The hotel was having an issue ( first room was flooded, second room smelled very badly of dog pee) so they moved our rooms a couple times and by the time we got to room # 3 we were starving. We ended up just going in putting our stuff down, changing our shoes, and kind of running out the door for dinner. When we were returned back a few hours later it was apparent that someone had been in our room. The towels were moved and used and things were out of place. We kind of talked ourselves out of that idea and tried to convince ourselves that maybe we had moved the towels. Although we knew we hadn't. It just didn't make any sense because we hadn't been in the room long enough to use the towels. But again we kind of thought we were crazy and went about our night. We went to the pool and when we came back we took showers and hung out in the room. When it was time to go to bed we were still very shaken up by the fact that we thought someone had been in the room so we barricaded the door shut. In the morning My friend was leaving and I was going to be spending the night alone so I spoke to the manager told her my concerns that someone had been in the room and that I was not comfortable staying in the hotel by myself. I ended up moving to another hotel for the second night. I got home from my trip tonight and was talking to my partner about the experience. I went on to Google and found that a man the same night that someone had been in our room had found a camera in his room. And he was going to go report it to the police. So I just went to the police and made a report about our situation. To make the matters worse. My friend said that in the bathroom on the shelf next to the toilet paper was a little black box similar to the one that the man had taken the picture of in the review. She said that she thought that it was just my USB charger. We went back to the hotel tonight and there are no cameras in the hallway outside of our door so we don't know how we're going to get to the bottom of this. But we are concerned that someone has footage of us showering and using the bathroom And the hotel staff let us go in the hotel room and there is no black box there now which means that someone had to have retrieved it since we left. The room is completely as we left it and has not been cleaned since. I checked out 2 days ago and everything is in place except for the Black box. I feel like I'm going to puke, but thank God for intuition. And thank God I didn't decide to stay in that hotel by myself The police called the hotel and They told us that they would give us camera footage in the morning but we went by the hotel to see how long they keep the footage for and we asked for how long they store the footage and the hotel called the police on us. When the police got there. They told the police that there is no camera footage and the police asked why they had told them on the phone that there was and they didn't have an answer for that. The police are investigating but in the meantime no one should be staying in this hotel First off, no one was screaming at anyone. We very calmly asked for how long the cameras stored the footage as we were advised by the police. The man at the desk was very cooperative and took us to the room. Only the manager on the phone had any issue and the police took our side when they got there and brought us back to the room. No one yelled or was inappropriate at any point except the manager who was very odd and suspicious calling the police on someone who was the victim in the situation. You called last night unnecessarily and made an accusation about behavior to try to paint yourselves as the victims and discredit me, but it didn't work. I'm sure the police can pull the front desk footage and see the truth. Also, the man at the desk wouldn't have gone alone into the room with me and my 6'5 285lb husband if we were acting erratically , but he had no problem escorting us alone to the room so you're full of crap and its a bad look with serious accusations like this that you are making up lies and calling the police on someone telling you about a significant problem. In the meantime, women staying at your hotel should know it's not safe there. There are young girls checking into that hotel and this is the second accusation this week of someone being in the rooms and hidden cameras. That should be a major safety concern. read more

You get what you pay for. I needed a place to crash for a few nights while in the area. There was a deal on their website so I jumped at the low rate. The layout of this hotel is horrible. The rooms have 2 doors: the standard entrance and a sliding glass that goes to the center area. The pool and dining space are in the center. My room was on the first floor next to the pool. It was horrible. There were teens running around with a basketball and screaming. It went on for a bit before I called the front desk. I tried with my room's phone first. The line rang and rang but no one picked up. It wasn't until I called the main number on my cell that I got someone instantly. Strange. My room had a distinct smell. I would say the best way to describe it was "moldy". People had definitely smoked in that room. There were stains on the carpet and walls. Bathroom was ok. The staff were nice. Once I got in touch with the front they were quick to address the noise issues. No matter how good the deal is, I'd spend a few extra dollars for a better experience somewhere else. read more

MOLD! MOLD!! MOLD!!! And strong industrial fragrance to accompany the MOLD. This place should not be open. There are water stains a leaking water marks everywhere. We looked at three rooms and each was worse than the other. The smell was rank and pungent. The staff should not have to work in that environment and the poor folks that are dwelling there. Local heath and wellness officials should have a look at this place. Just the 20 or so minutes that it took me to reject the place gave me a headache and is stuck in my nose. HORRIBLE experience. Girl at the front desk with the huge head is like a robot. Stayed Friday into Saturday and when I woke up Saturday morning the water wouldn't turn on in my room and the toilet wouldn't flush. There's no extension or phone # listed for them in the room so I went downstairs. There's useless front desk girl was just like "ok" she then charged me $25 for a bottle of water and a 20 oz coke told me the water would be fixed when some guy came back from Home Depot, so I went on my way. Came back after putting the warm water in the mini fridge because they don't even offer cold bottled waters and went down to check breakfast out, there's no signage and it's kind of hidden. Also in addition to not being good you have to pay for it. And a mousy miserable little lady will interrupt you serving yourself to rudely ask for the ticket like she's assuming you're stealing some bad scrambled eggs. Anyways, at this point it'd been well over an hour and still no water or working toilet so I spoke to the front desk again, asked to speak to the hotel manager and was told she'd be in at 3 and that she would give me a call. That call never came btw. Later I came back after a Xmas party, no call from manager or update on water, and shocker the key to my room wouldn't unlock the door. Either of them! I go back downstairs and tell them the issue and also let them know I didn't have water or toilet and I was told the manager was going to call me and never heard back and now my card won't let me in the room and this seems like retaliation for complaining about a health issue. A completely different incredibly trashy woman who I concluded to be the manager became incredibly aggressive with me and then had the audacity to accuse me of being drunk and threatened me to call the police on me! For demanding access to the room I paid for that still had my stuff inside? Finally she handed me a key I went and retrieved my stuff checked out got a receipt and left. Not sure how I'll be proceeding with this cut short stay that included harassment, threats and health code violations. Avoid this hotel at all costs. read more

I found a great deal online for $52 - I ended up calling to book my reservation because I wanted to pick a specific room/area out by the pool. We were planning this mini trip to have some fun & get out of the house for Thanksgiving vacation. The guy on the phone was soooooo nice! I ended up tipping him when I got here as he was here in person the following day of booking. Very helpful, knowledgeable & professional. When you pull in, you're not quite sure it's a hotel.. the lot is hugeeee.. not much different when you walk in. I feel like there's sooooo much unnecessary space. It's overwhelming honestly- but I imagine hosting a wedding here would be beautiful. Room 164 was directly across from the pool entrance. Dude did good. The kids loved it! I wish there was some info on wi-fi & the restaurant "Against The Grain" that was inside. The hours online said 4-10 but it was not open for a drink :( but they DO sell beer/wine at the front desk which is nice. The pool is huge for a hotel pool. It's sectioned off which is great for the kiddos that can't swim. There was no jacuzzi as advertised. Breakfast was pretty expensive - definitely didn't eat $16 worth of food and the kids were $10 each - again.. overpriced. Anyways.. overall, I would come back here. The kids loved it! We slept comfortably. It's an older hotel from the 70's but a lot is updated. read more

The place is old, dirty and not well kept. Needs a makeover BAD!!! The wallpaper is peeling off the walls, the carpets are dirty and filthy and there's mold in the bathroom, and the elevator was out for a week!!! Imagine checking in late after a long flight and having to lug your bags up a flight of stairs?!?! Breakfast ended 30 minutes earlier than the posted time. Absolutely terrible stay... I don't do many yelp reviews but this one is what I just pissed about. My wife my kid and myself stayed in the "mini suites"(row 100s to 199) and we checked in at 3pm. We get to our room and open it up. Walked around do the usual inspection of it to see what it had in it. The first thing that made me mad was the fact that the room was advertised with having a microwave and mini fridge plus free cable. Looked around for the microwave. No microwave to be found. Checked out mini fridge. Barely works. Second on the list is the ripped curtains on the windows and squished bugs on the outer drapes. Third on the list. The toilet. Wasn't the cleanest I've seen and we've stayed quite a few places to have a weekend and get away from our normal routines on the weekend. Also might I add the toilet was like a bloody tilt a wirl... you sit on it and literally bangs back and forth. Fourth and most of all what pissed me off was the supposed "quiet time of 10 to 8am". I get woken out of a sound of sleep and so doesn't my wife to people running up and down the halls banging and slamming doors playing loud music banging other visitors doors. This went on from 12am to 3am. Wake me and my wife up fine. But wake my kid up that's another story. This seems like a brand new hotel and was NOT ready for guests. Stayed here because I was going to a Taylor swift concert with friends and was the only option by the time I was able to secure tickets. It was over $400 a night for 2 queen sized beds. The toilet was broken, there was a line to check in (no early check ins even 2:45) and just price gouged. Honestly if you can stay anywhere else do it. But location is the only thing that's great for this place compared to Gillette stadium. read more

I can honestly say that between the guests yelling and slamming doors ALL NIGHT LONG, and the very loud room heaters/fans, we didn't get more than an hour or two of sleep.
