The room was spotless, modern, and had a sleek, comfortable vibe. I deducted a star because we purchased a room with stadium view and had a view of the roof and the parking lot. The bed was cozy, but the pillows deserve their own shoutout, they were unbelievably comfortable, the kind you actually miss once you get home. Down at the bar, Tom made the experience even better. He mixed up one of the best mules I've ever had and was genuinely great to talk with...friendly, and welcoming. Definitely a place I'd stay again, both for the comfort and the hospitality.

I noticed that, as a Diamond member, they still wanted me to pay for breakfast! It utterly astonishes me the low end places like this still try to charge for breakfast, when so many cheaper places than this, many of them other Hilton Garden Inns, offer free breakfast! Also, they only give Diamond members a $10 food and beverage credit, so it won't even completely cover it if you have more than one guest and get two totaling $20. Don't go anywhere near the concession area there! Yeah sure they have lots of garbage for sale, but when I wanted a single small pizza and a small box of stuffed pizza rolls, plus a water, the bill was $25 for THAT! And the way they try to absolve them selves to blame it on the third party they use to provide the stuff! FYI, my fridge was broken and completely frosted over, so it wouldn't even cool my waters. There was a pizza box with a partially consumed pizza in it too! Yuck! And now my favorite part of the visit, the parking scam they pull there! Because there was a Patriots game happening the night I was there, they tried to hit me with a $60 parking fee too! Upon check in, I discovered this hustle and rebelled against it as soon as I was given a free spot in the retail area in the bigger parking area, due to my disabled placard. Guess what?! Despite telling everyone, from the valet staff, to the manager of the front desk that I had removed my vehicle from the hotel's parking lot, they left it on my bill anyway! When I approached the front desk manager, she told me "it was no problem and would be removed as soon as she spoke to the valet staff to make sure that my car hadn't spent the night in their lot." Then, when she realized that I had outsmarted them and parked in Gillette Stadium's lot, which gives free parking to retail customers at their public restaurants and especially disabled people, she moved the goalpost and tried to charge me ANYWAY! What a cvnt! She stood her ground! I left furious and complained to Hilton Diamond and they told me someone had removed the charge after I left. I'm assuming the GM overruled her robbery of me! Needless to say, anything you do in this hotel is ala cart and they have the excuse of a third party to justify every scam! You have to demand your folio upon check in to see what games they're playing and don't bring a car on the property, event just to unload. The valet guys insist on asking your name and room number before you check in and automatically throw a valet ticket in your car to begin the scam so your car is already theirs, even if you tell them you're not parking with them in the valley service. It's a gang of thieves between the front desk staff and the valet, so beware.

There's always a line-up. I like this place because they keep the place clean. Kudos to the cleaning crew! Thank you. Their breakfast is also good. I like the variety of toppings for the yogurt and oatmeal. I have never been to a hotel that offers a yogurt dispenser like they do. Their warm food is nothing special, they could use a food warmer for this, but they don't. My kids love the waffle and whipped cream. I also like that they have fresh fruits. Overall, they have a great breakfast offering. But be careful with some of their front desk personnel. They are not familiar with all aspects of the inner workings of the hotel and they hallucinate (like an AI algorithm)- they make things up just to have a response. So double check what they say. Hilton as a whole is not a good property for people with status. What I'm saying is, it's not worth it earning or maintaining status with Hilton Honors, there's no real benefit. I have never been granted a late check-out request. I don't really get anything extra or special for being a member.

This past year we had our son's Bar Mitzvah at Four Points by Sheraton Norwood…read more When we started our search for a venue to hold this important life event for our son there were a few things we were focused on. The venue had to have a hall to fit 100-150 people, hotel rooms at the venue or nearby for traveling guests, and a variety of good quality food. From our first meeting with Jayme Dalipovic, their catering sales manager, we knew we didn't need to look anywhere else. They had multiple rooms of varying sizes, so it gave us some flexibility depending on how many people were coming. Being a hotel, they had plenty of rooms that we were able to reserve blocks of rooms at a great discount. And when we booked up the block, they provided us with more. Unlike most halls, the food options were from their on-site restaurant. They had great options for food and it didn't feel like mass-produced generic catering food, but like we were getting food directly from an elegant restaurant...which it was! And even more impressive than finding this place that exceeded our expectations on what we were looking for, it far exceeded all the intangibles that we had never even thought of. The quality of service and hospitality made us feel like we were royalty. The level of attention they focused on left nothing unthought of. Every little detail they made sure was perfect! For anyone looking for a place to hold an important event, be it a Bar Mitzvah, a wedding or a company retreat, we highly recommend going with Four Points by Sheraton Norwood. They will help create an event that you and your guests will never forget.

We cannot comment on the rooms because we never even got to see one…read more During a severe rain and wind storm last week, the hotel we were staying at lost power, as did many nearby businesses. Since Best Western was on the same street, we decided to try there simply to get somewhere warm and safe for the night. That decision turned out to be a huge mistake. Before heading over, I called to ask if they had electricity. The woman who answered acted as if this was a strange question, which should have been our first red flag. When we arrived, she then told us their power had gone out and their systems were not fully working -- the same thing she seemed offended I had asked about earlier. We were told to sit in the breakfast/seating area while we checked prices and tried to make a reservation. It was cold and dimly lit, though she did turn on a light for us. We were extremely quiet and respectful the entire time. I made a reservation through an app (which we use frequently without issue). The app provided a confirmation number, but the hotel claimed it was not showing in their system. After waiting and checking multiple times, there was a shift change at the front desk. The new desk agent was extremely rude and acted annoyed every time I politely asked if the reservation had come through yet. The app's customer service attempted to call the hotel several times, but no one answered. They then canceled and rebooked the reservation. While this was happening, the front desk employee told us that we had been there "too long" and that we were "loitering." He then gave us 10 minutes to leave or else. We were absolutely appalled. We had a reservation in progress, were not causing any disturbance, and were simply sitting quietly waiting for confirmation during a dangerous storm. We were not loitering -- we were potential guests who had already paid for transportation to get there. Because of his behavior, we were forced to leave and walk across Route 1 in freezing rain, with traffic moving quickly and streetlights not working, just to find safety. We had no car and nowhere else nearby to go. We are a quiet, respectful family who stays in hotels often due to personal and medical reasons, and we have never been treated this way. The lack of compassion, professionalism, and basic customer service was shocking. This experience has completely turned us off from Best Western. One star is too generous for the way we were treated, and it is unbelievable that an employee is allowed to speak to guests like this.

One of the worst hotel experiences I've ever had. Absolutely unacceptable…read more We stayed here over Christmas 2023 and were forced to change rooms four times due to serious health and cleanliness issues. Two different rooms on two different floors had cigarette smoke pouring into the room through the vents, making them uninhabitable. At one point we were moved into a room with a couch that was soaked in urine. The pee smell was unmistakable throughout the room and was coming from the couch. At that point, after already moving multiple times, we asked if the couch could simply be replaced instead of uprooting us again. The front desk attendant flatly refused and forced yet another room change. When we tried to move the urine-soaked couch out ourselves because we were exhausted and no one would help, the same staff member threatened to call the police on us. In the final room, the cigarette smoke issue still persisted, but we gave up and slept with the windows open in freezing winter temperatures because we could not handle moving yet again. The staff throughout this ordeal were hostile, dismissive, and showed zero concern. This felt like staying in a run-down roadside motel, not a Marriott hotel. This property should be investigated by the health department. Between the urine-soaked furniture, pervasive cigarette smoke, and staff behavior, this was disgraceful. Management should be ashamed. I would strongly advise avoiding this hotel.

This review reflects a week-long stay, ending today…read more Our stay started off as a five-star review bc of friendly front desk staff and we were really impressed with how they handled our HVAC concern. Our air conditioner stopped working consistently and the room was getting stuffy without at least a fan. To our surprise, they immediately sent someone out to look at it, despite being after hours. That person did the best he could but said he would have someone else look at it the following day. Sure enough, we got a call from "Mike the Maintenance Guy" and he checked out our unit. He explained they received a lot of complaints on these units and we gave him permission to replace it during the day, when we would be away. Done! We were super impressed with his can-do attitude. Now, why 3 Stars? While we were pleased with Mike, we were less than pleased with the housekeeping situation. When checking in on Monday evening I saw the housekeeping sign about "limited service' and asked the staff person what that actually meant. I assumed it meant you had to ask for housekeeping. No, he explained that housekeeping was only available on M W & F. No big deal, I thought. We are frequent travelers and we planned on improvising. We bought extra coffee K cups so we didn't run out. Plus, I preferred a stronger, darker roast than they offered anyway. Well, we were out all day Wednesday and returned late that evening to find our room was not serviced. No clean towels, overflowing baskets, no more coffee cups, unmade beds, etc. Needless to say we were very disappointed. We emptied our trash in the lobby and replaced our dirty towels for clean ones. I couldn't help but think this vaguely written sign is written this way for a reason -- to confuse customers and not accept responsibility. We went to bed upset about the oversight. As rewards members, we never experienced this level of service disruption before. After the incident, front desk staff observed closely and made sure we got housekeeping on Friday, as it appeared they were probably going to skip us again. This moved my now-two-star review to three-stars. We understand every industry is impacted by COVID now, and, if your hotel is back to fully charging for service, you need to do everything in your power to make sure you are recruiting and retaining staff to provide consistent service across the brand. That said, we will continue to stay with IHG, but honestly, not sure we would return to this location. This is a newer, clean hotel with spacious rooms. We stay at this brand frequently and the clean, stylish interior impressed us the most. The breakfast is is their standard with very little rotation. Self parking is easy and free. For heaven's sake, change the office chair in the rooms. The flat cushion provides no support and feels like it could tip over easily. This hotel is conventionally located to freeway, local shopping and not far from commuter rail.
