Now, let me offer a few words about the complimentary breakfast. While it was not vast or abundant, it was a full hot breakfast. A few fruit, cereal, and bread options, eggs, sausage, French toast, etc. Quality... it was okay. I walked her to her room because she's younger and pregnant. The halls were filled with pot smell and we are pretty sure a section was dedicated to people living there. I get to my room and when I pulled back the covers the one bed was heavily stained. I thought gross but there's two beds. Well the second one was stained and the pillows too. Not only did Tyreik go out of his way to find a little step stool I'd requested for my parents (I think he had to go buy it), he allowed us to switch rooms when one became available that better suited my parents accessibility needs. He was ready to help me problem solve along the way and was an incredible ally during a very trying time. As anyone who assists elderly and/or disabled folks or is disabled themselves, displacement of any kind can be scary and exhausting. Having someone help us manage inevitable obstacles was amazing. ***Quick tip for anyone with accessibility needs - there are at least two different types of accessible accommodations at Sonesta. Double check that the room you book meets your needs- if not they may have a better one available. Rookie mistake on my part, but this was an emergency situation.

The room also has a musty smell however we are using the dehumidifier that was already in the room, in addition to plug-ins, deodorizing spray, and Lysol spray.
