We worked with Envision for a party we held at the San Francisco University club. We sent Envision a list of songs our members requested and everyone loved the music. They were great to work with prior to the event. Sandy got a hold of me and helped with the payment and arranging a time to set up. They were on time and played a good mix of songs from rap, hip hop, pop etc. I would highly recommend them. Hello Yelpers! I know I write the same thing when I get back to reviewing, but hello there friends! I'm telling you, getting married and "nesting" has distracted me from my Yelping duties! Not that any of you really care that much, I bet. Hahaha. So I am going to try and review all my vendors from our wedding. And I'll start with Envision Entertainment. These guys were recommended by an actor friend of mine and at first I was worried because Aaron Benne (the top dog) was so young. But I really trusted my friend so I met with Aaron and soon I was comforted by him. He knows what he is doing guys, he really does. He allowed me to pick what I wanted and him and his colleagues were very on top of getting to my venue and speaking of sound and tech issues with the venue managers, AND they got back to me about awesome and inspired ideas of what they could do with the room in terms of lighting! Yes! They can include lighting. I mean I didn't even think of lighting because the venue itself was very classy looking. So the day of the wedding they pulled it together and went beyond my expectations. The reception room was crazy beautiful! They did up-lighting in our wedding colors of navy blue and yellow and they music was pretty much a hit. And the best "thing" about Aaron and his team was the MC. He was hilarious but not trying to take the attention from the bride and groom, and I had met with him several times before the wedding and he really listened and got to know me so he almost felt like a friend who was just speaking really well for us. I was very thrilled about him. My guests were happy and entertained and/or drunk, so the night felt like a success. Sandy and her team transformed an ordinary ballroom into and elegant and beautiful wedding venue. They supplied the uplighting, pinspotting for our sweetheart and cake tables, a gobo design, draping for our sweetheart table, and the projector. We are very indecisive about what colors to use to light the ballroom. Sandy patiently listened to us and suggested using light purple for the room and auburn for our sweetheart table. The ballroom looked exquisite with the purple and auburn lighting. In addition, Sandy created an amazing gobo design that complimented our decor. Envision Entertainment DJed my wedding in October of 2009, and they did a great job! They did the ceremony and the reception. I had really specific requests for the ceremony music, and everything was executed perfectly. Music is so important for setting the right mood for the ceremony, so it was so great to have it turn out exactly the way I wanted it. The reception also turned out great. People are still telling me how much fun they had that night. The music kept everybody up and dancing. They really had a good feel for the crowd and what they wanted. They played a a few songs I wouldn't have personally chosen, but overall it was great. They also added lighting that I wasn't expecting, but it looked BEAUTIFUL! It really added a nice touch, highlighting the beautiful outdoor setting. Eduardo, the MC, was awesome! He was really energetic, and on top of it. He was entertaining, but didn't talk too much (like so many wedding MC's), and was never cheesy. It was great. Arron and sandy did a great job setting up my event. A new company establishing themselves in the Bay Area has surprised me! They did a great job, they handled all of my av for my event for the amount if time given. They even had the most current equipment. Arron had these Bose speakers that were very sleek and low profile that sounded like large speakers you'd normally get. It helped out with the decor by eliminating the bulky boxes, allowing for a better view from far away. I'd recommend envision for weddings, events, and private parties. We have hired Envision Entertainment to provide the uplights for our wedding earlier this month in Doubletree hotel in Burlingame. We have looked everywhere and contacted a lot of people in the bay area to find the best deal and we found it with them. Their staff is great with communicating with us from the contracting to the site visit to the actual day. Their equipment is top-notch and the lights themselves were set-up elegantly on the ballroom floor.
