My hair is difficult to work with for a lot of stylists. It's long, thick, and I've got a lot of hair. I had my colorist give me a "trim" and wow!! That was the worst move ever. Bless her heart, she's a great colorist but not the best at cutting hair. She left it with frayed ends, choppy, more damaged looking than it was and still thick and hard to manage. Imagine asian mullet. Yup. Help! So on to get help. In the course of 5 yrs of living in Houston, I would have to say Duc was the best at cutting my hair. I took his first available appointment. He asked, "What are we doing here?" I explained, we need to fix this sad asian mullet. There was just no way I was going to live with this horribly confused haircut. Oh my word did Duc deliver! Okay, I very rarely give 5 stars, but when I do, they are well deserved for that establishment! I have lived in the Cypress area for about 4 years now and come from Clear Lake area. I have not found a salon or hair stylist that fit my needs until Saturday. My BFF referred me to this salon because she has been there to have color and her good friend drives from a far to go here. Well if someone drives more than 50 miles to go to a salon, it must be good! I booked my appointment with Sierra(sp?) she was super nice. When I mapped it out and got to the salon. You must be careful, they are in a business complex and I totally had to make a few U-turns before I had realized that. Although their seclusiveness makes you feel very exclusive though! Lol The salon is very clean, staff is very friendly and the clients were too! They even have lockers for you to lock your personal items in. Chanel is who cut my hair and I told her I just wanted to bring my long hair back to life by cutting it quite short to give it some volume. Well she worked her magic and wa la! Found this place while visiting my son. I haven't had a haircut in a year and it wasn't a great one. The stylist/owner is very knowledgeable and efficient! His staff is super friendly and they were able to work me in. I really enjoyed the little scalp massage while I was getting the hairwash. I love them! After moving to Tomball in April 2015, I tried five places before going to Envision in summer of 2016. I haven't even thought of trying another place. I like that it is smaller, not so horribly loud and not trying too hard to be 'cool.' It is a nice, normal, down to earth place. I have used both Chanel and Nicole and been very happy with both. I would be happy to use Duc and his brother too. I always have a glass of water and have never managed to get it empty because they are so attentive and quick to refill. On my first visit, Chanel said they were all like family. It really shows. When she is busy, any of the other three will wash or dry my hair. Once she was completely booked and I had to get n before a vacation. I booked with Nicole instead. No one made me feel awkward about that or going back to Chanel for the next visit.
