Looks like many people have had a bad time here. My mother-in-law and I popped in on a Sunday morning and there was barely anyone in there so they got to us immediately. The woman who did my mother-in-law's pedicure had her laughing the whole time, and my manicurist was really pleasant as well. Honestly this is the best manicure I've had in a while, and as far as the price goes, maybe things are more expensive where I live in New Orleans but I found this perfectly reasonable. Maybe they have improved the quality of their work recently. No complaints.

Stopped by Envy for the first time today as I'm new to the area. Worst manicure I think I've ever had :/ They were taking COVID precautions which I appreciate, but I paid $40 for the worst gel nails I've ever gotten. The coat was uneven, my nail beds look terrible, and she didn't even shape them after I asked twice :/. I won't be back.

The woman were nice the customer service isn't the problem the problem is the quality an prices of the nails I was charged 95 for just umbre nails an I'm the first few days 2 of my nails lifted an I had to glue them back I didn't get what I wanted at all I'm very upset with this place if you don't know how to do umbre don't do it I also told them I wanted matte nails they couldn't even do that right I do not recommend this place unless you want a simple manicure an pedicure that's all they can do right

Ankle that came in with skin. Left without any.

After having my fingernails filed into triangles, my skin painted and my ankle cut with the mr pumice by Kim, I had finally had enough and asked they stop so I could just go home. A younger girl insisted on fixing my hands and feet and then got angry when I told her I don't like my cuticles painted and my nails filed into points like they were. She told me it was my fault and I should have told them what I wanted. Who knew you had to specify such things? But once I did tell them, I was embarrassed by the young girl in front of everyone there. And was talked about in Vietnamese, I guess? Please save your time and ankles and go to the nice, friendly and professional places Mountain Brook has to offer.

Yikes! Color was suppose to be a light pinkish/white. Funny bunny/bubble bath mix.

My appointment was at 11 and I was barely acknowledged when I walked in and did not get a chair until 11:30. The pedicure was good but the color turned out awful! Then came the manicure which fine. Got nicked a few times with no apology but oh well. At the end as I walked to my car I realized it was very streaky and you could pretty much see through to my nails, so I built up the courage to go back in and ask if they could fix it (which I never do, but after spending $100 for a mani/pedi for a vacation and not being happy with either I figured I'd suck it up and go back). Big mistake. I was embarrassingly told no that she couldn't fix it because "you said it look good already". the other employee came by to check my nails out and said "oh yeah they look good no need to fix". Never mind that I didn't like them and after getting many opinions after leaving they DEFINITELY needed fixing. Everyone stood in silence starring for a minute before I embarrassingly walked out of the place without fixed nails or a sorry. I came for the convenience of being right down the street and the food pricing, but after this I will not be back!

I was very disappointed with this place. It was in a nice area and busy, looked clean and they seemed nice enough. I came in with bare nails wanting a shellac manicure. I've had many shellac manicures over the last few years. This was my first one in the greater Birmingham area. Overall I'm shocked at the prices at all nail salons here. I called my nail salon back home to verify, sure enough $25 for shellac manicures there ($14 for basic manicures). Envy Nails, $39 for a simple shellac manicure!!!! What???!! It didn't even occur to me to ask before I sat down. (No prices displayed here) Who'd have ever thought it would be that much? Not me. I cannot for the life of me understand why it needs to cost this much. (Simply put....it doesn't). Sure the lamps are expensive. $150 or so. And they go on sale at the supply house often. But when you do gel polish all day everyday it pays for itself pretty fast. And the shellac polishes don't cost much more than regular. And if you bring your own gel polish, they still charge the same price. I thought the girl who did my manicure was nice enough. But the next day upon further inspection 3 of my nails didn't even have the polish all the way to the tip of my nail. I had to trim them a quarter inch shorter to remove the unpainted nail. I won't be going back here. And will continue my search for an affordable nail salon. It almost seems like this place assumes because it's in Mountain Brook they can charge whatever they want and people will pay it. And judging by how many people were in there, seems about right. Updated, after 7 days of this manicure the polish is lifting and peeling off 4 nails. A $39 manicure that is touted to last 2-3 weeks and it's lasted one.

I called ahead and went when there was no wait. The manicure and pedicure were beautiful and the hand and foot massages felt great!

Not a great pedi. Made me wait for a while and didn't even lotion my legs. Seemed in a major rush for the middle of the day.

Overpriced for what you get for a mani/pedi. Polish was too thick, and it was all over my cuticle. Very disappointed and will not be back.

I had the best pedicure of my life today and introduced a 4-year-old girl to the joy of a nice mani-pedi too!

Came in on yesterday for a dipping powder appointment with Anh. Originally I scheduled the…read moreappointment for 1pm but changed to 12p since I was told she had a 2pm appointment. I changed to have more time instead of being rushed, as these were my birthday nails and I wanted them to look very presentable. I've been to this shop a few times before and have never experienced this rudeness and unprofessionalism I received yesterday. I showed Anh what I wanted done and she confidently agreed she could do the designs. My nails were rushed the entire time during the design part. What was suppose to be an ombré French tip, was not. I calmly stated to her that it did not look ANYTHING like ombré. She simply took the tip of a brush and just dabbed dipping powder on top, then she immediately became dismissive and rude once I explained to her the design wasn't accurate. She rolled her eyes several times and scoffed repeatedly while finishing and correcting my nails. Once finishing my nails, Anh went to the back room of the shop instead of immediately checking me out. I stood up front waiting to be checked out longer than I should have after an unprofessional service. I will NEVER be back to this shop for the way I was treated yesterday. As a registered nurse, I take pride in how people are treated. I'll for sure make sure other nurses and doctors don't come here as well.

He did a fantastic job on my nails, arguably better than the nail salon I've been going to for years. He adapted quick when I asked him to do a design on my nails. He educated me on what was best for my nails. I loved the atmosphere and communication between all of the staff. This is definitely my new spot! Thanks Bruce and team!
