I'm here visiting out of state and decided to pass the time with getting a pedicure and fill in. I was greeted at the door. I had one amazing pedicure. She took so much time on my feet and legs. It was truly an experience. I had another person to do my nails and I can clearly tell that they all care about the health of your nails and making sure you get the best experience. I wish I lived here because this place would definitely be my place for manicures and pedicures. Also, as my time ended and I was paying, it started raining. I told them I walked from the hotel around the corner and one of the ladies offered me an umbrella. If that's not top notch customer service, I don't know what is! read more

This was my first time here. I googled open nail salons on a Sunday and this was the first one that came up based on the area I was looking for. Clean salon, nice service, and my nail tech was super nice. I just wish when I got there that they would have told me there would be a wait. I picked out a color and the guy in charge took me back to get a pedi and I just sat there for about 30 minutes. At least let me soak my feet since I had to wait awhile. Also they were a little bit more on the expensive side when getting a regular mani/pedi plus I believe they charge extra for using a card (unless they charge taxes). All in all, decent visit and my nails are pretty. read more

I got a simple manicure, just regular nail polish. I called a few days before and was told 15 dollars, but at the store was told 25 dollars mid service, after my card was already in their hands. The end result has many imperfections. I tried to get the one nail, ring finger with many dents, fixed because there was a hair in it but I think it ended up worse. I would have asked to fix the other nails if the lady that did my nails wasn't busy with other clients. I wish she took the time to look at the end product closely. The place was very clean and the people were nice but don't think this was worth the money at all. I never get my nails done and wanted them perfect for my grad photos. read more

Nothing negative could be said about this nail salon( they are fantastic. I was in Birmingham for work for three months and I already miss going here! Never had a bad experience once and I LOVE Stacey -- she's so talented and sweet and her work is positively meticulous. I also had a pedicure from Jimmy once that was excellent. The salon is beautiful and very clean, everything feels new and well cared for, and they're extremely hygienic. I especially appreciate the way they have customers wash their hands when they come into the salon so they they're not just picking up dirty hands and using community tools on them. They also have a beautiful color selection and are able to accommodate new trendy requests or help you find a look you love. The young lady nail technician that I ended up with cut my toenail crooked for no reason. Yes it will grow but now I'm worried I will have an ingrown toenail. She had the foot bath scalding hot and said they just had one temperature, she put a super hot towel on my legs and after the leg foot massage gave me a stinky dirty towel to dry my legs off with. I came in for a pedicure, and chose the Alpha pedicure. The experience over all was not personal. The person who gave me the pedicure was talking on her phone the entire time. I didn't realize and responded to her and she pointed to me that she was on the phone. The quality of the pedicure was not good. It was all rushed, minimal massage and minimal hydration. Toes were painted well, so that's good. After my service the pedicurist did not tell me how to pay, that I was welcome to sit and dry. Nothing. She just moved to the next client and never said anything. No acknowledgement at all. I am a very hefty tipper. This is the first time I have never left a tip for a service. read more

I've been to this salon three times and have had friendly, quality service every time. Each time I went I was a walk-in and had a new person. All three were friendly and did a great job. Twice I went in for their second tier pedi and the lowest cost mani. The third time I did a gel pedi and SNS nails with a mani. Stacy has only worked there for a couple of months, but she previously worked in another salon in town. Her work was excellent and the massage was wonderful! Best pedicure I have ever had. I called in about an hour before they closed and asked if they could do a pedicure. The lady on the phone was super polite and said I could come on in. I was not rushed and the manicurist was so professional. The paint was perfect. I was super impressed. By the way, my first call was to the salon at the summit. The guy was so rude. Andy is amazing. He did my friend's pedicure. She was pleased with his work, and I enjoyed his conversation and overall great attitude. Had me feeling that it would be my new spot. Unfortunately, he finished her and went to work with someone else. Maybe five minutes later another woman comes over to me and gestures for me to take my feet out of the water, but she's looking at my feet- assessing them. Now, she never says anything (not even a greeting), so this makes me feel uncomfortable. I look at my friend, because she knows if I feel disrespected, that we could have a whole entire ordeal. But then, the woman swats at my feet and eventually attempts to lifer my fit by the pinky toe to put it in the water. END SCENE. I didn't react, because I didn't want to upset the otherwise serene environment that others seemed to enjoy. I dried my feet and sat beside my friend. Andy apologizes profusely, saying that the woman was new. But I couldn't patron the business after that. Plus my friend was completely finished. It's not the cheapest place, but it's not expensive. They use quality product from what I could see and the environment is very clean. I just don't tolerated disrespect. I surely don't pay for it. If you could get Andy to service you, I'm sure you'd be ok. Otherwise, patron at your own risk. read more

Omg I don't know where to start. First the staff is so friendly and they really take the time to help you achieve the look you want, even a photo from Pinterest they can achieve. Jimmy was my nail tech and after going to many top nail salons in Birmingham and being disappointed, I was very impressed with omega nail boutique as well as jimmy's design. I went for a simple skin nude color with tips for my nails. And even though they didn't have the color someone I had seen on the yelp reviews had anymore, jimmy and the rest of the staff made sure they could match the color as best as possible and that I would love them. I was surprised they even did an almond shape that turned out so beautiful as many nail salons cannot do it right, but omega nail boutique has been by far the BEST nail salon I have ever been to. The price is also very reasonable to the detail they put into their work. I spent $60 and will most definitely keep spending it at a salon that cares about their work like omega does. The time was also efficient for the design and jimmy was so gentle and kind. The place is also so beautiful like a spa and they offer beverages. Definitely worth driving from Avondale !!!! read more

zero stars... they did not give me a gel manicure.. they just painted my nails... I got a "gel manicure" one week ago. I am going back up here to complain because there was no work done on my cuticles.. they are still very much out grown with dead skin... and my gel manicure is chipping already. When I called to inform them that I will be coming back and explaining what was wrong w my nails... Andy asked me if I had even gotten a manicure with my service??? how do I not get a manicure with GEL? you literally cannot say gel without manicure. so I am confused.
