I've been to so many dental offices looking for a place I felt comfortable and welcomed. I visited envy smile dental from the very first interaction I knew this place would be different. The kindness and professionalism I received from just my first phone call was shocking and such a welcomed relief. In 2016 I survived a botched murder suicide. I was shot in the back of my head by my ex who then killed himself. You may be asking what does any of this have to do with envy smile. While I don't get out much and leaving the house because of my experience is always hard. I am always emotional and the day of my appointment I was depressed and nervous. When I arrived I was literally almost in tears. Michelle and destiny the front desk receptionists were so kind and attentive. I've never experienced anything like that before. I had issues completely the paperwork and needed help several times. I'm always nervous because people tend to get annoyed with me because there are things i can't do but they were so patient and kind. I actually felt relaxed and normal and trust me that's not easy! In fact my previous consultation with another company left me standing at reception for 10 minutes and wouldn't even acknowledge my presence. So this was refreshing! I got a cleaning and Zula was so friendly she took the time to truly get to know me and actually talked about my needs and desires. I told her of the 39 years I've been alive I don't have one photo of myself smiling because of my teeth. Ok maybe one or two that have been photoshopped but I never smile and after what happened to me I really want to smile! She really cared! Her care was genuine trust me I know fake when I see it and she was genuine in both her care and concern Unfortunately I can't remember my doctors name but she was amazing. Like I said previously I've been to so many consultations and people look at me and assume things about me and I'm usually rushed in and out in less then 20 minutes. But I was there for over an hour. The doctor was funny, informed, cared and truly concerned about the condition of my teeth. She took the time to show me each tooth and the issues with many of my teeth. I don't know what is important to you maybe saving money maybe it's good work but to me kindness professionalism and knowledge of the work is important. I trust their craftsmanship. Still I feel like this review does not adequately explain how great this place is. You have to give them a try. You will not regret it. Love this dental office! I tried it for the first time about 4 weeks ago because it was recommended to me by a friend. I decided to try them out for a cleaning, and kept going ever since for the rest of my services. I travel almost 2 hours sometimes because it's definitely worth it!First of all the place is very neat and beautifully taken care of. There are diffusers everywhere and pretty decorations. The staff is amazing! They are fun and professional. I'm typically very nervous about going to the dentist because I don't like all the tools and "drilling". However every time I've went they made me feel very comfortable. They explain to me whatever work that will be done. They also offer a massage or hand treatment if I have time. And even a blanket during my appmt. It makes me feel so relaxed and comfortable! I have recommended this place to many of my friends because of my experience. My dentist is Dr. Weiner and she's been phenomenal! Ever since I was a kid, I would always avoid going to the dentist. I would freak out and be anxious for days before and feel super drained afterwards, even for small things like check ups. Needless to say I was more than a little reluctant to get my dental work done, but I am so grateful for Dr. Weiner and her team for holding my hand and genuinely making me feel comfortable. I had a cleaning with Ella, the hygienist, and it was the quickest yet most thorough cleaning I've ever had and it was 100% painless. There wasn't a moment that I was even uncomfortable, her professionalism and sweet personality made me almost sad when she was done Dr. Matsui, who did my fillings, has the softest touch ever, I barely felt anything the whole time and he did three Darlene and Shota brightened up the room every time they walked in and I literally can't have a conversation with these two without busting up laughing. Darlene saw how nervous I was and talked to me almost the whole time and was watching my face to make sure I was doing alright. Liz and Marina run the front and are some of the most responsible and caring people I've ever met, they walked me through all the steps necessary and I can promise you that if I would've had two hours of questions, we would've spoken for 2 1/2 hours because they would wanna make sure I was happy with the information they were able to give me. all in all, I sincerely loved my experience here and I don't see myself going anywhere else for dental work ever again. Beautiful place- interior design I mean! I was there for the $29 cleaning Groupon special. But.. Oh the "but"! After a 1 (one) full hour wait in the reception area I was finally asked in. So if a customer is late for an appointment it's a problem, but if they make you wait a FULL HOUR it's alright... Anyway, the hygienist ToniAnn was wonderful! Very thorough, sweet disposition, and knowledgeable. But I feel the dentist has instructed all of her staff to find crazy issues with patients' teeth so as to make them come back at any cost- fear mongering, inaccuracies, and flat out lies. I was told I have numerous teeth and gum conditions and if I don't go again to deep clean my gums I'd lose ALL of my teeth! Their cleaning I was told would be $1025!!! Ahem! Really?! None of my other dentists ever said that.. Then the dentist came and she asked me if I wanted teeth lengthening, straightening, or whitening? She interjected to the hygienist "I think she's the perfect candidate for our 6-month financing!" WOAH! Lady! I'm in my 20s with perfectly straight, healthy, white teeth! Are you kidding me?! My entire life I've gotten compliments for healthy teeth from actual DENTISTS! And now you're almost asking to remove my healthy teeth and put dentures?! Talk about Up-selling! Thankfully, I'm well educated and a savvy consumer and know what to expect but boy are these people vultures! I was shocked by their fear mongering and unprofessionalism! AND to top it all off I just got an "offer" from them through my email to write them a positive review on a number of platforms in order to enter a raffle for some Starbucks gift cards!!! I simply cannot, in good conscience, give this business more than 3 stars, even though the appointment itself was wonderful once underway. This is because we waited an amount of time that I can only describe as "absurd". While we waited for nearly 2.5 hours, multiple patients came in for their appointments after us, yet were seen before us. I can't help but feel that this is due to the fact that I used a Groupon to visit this clinic. Yes, I visited a dental office with a Groupon. Lesson learned. While I understand that there is the possibility for a slight drop in service when using a discounted program or coupon, if they had simply been upfront and told us when we came in that it would be a 2+ hour wait, we could have made plans for another visit. As it was, my girlfriend nearly missed another appointment she had (which was 3.5 hours apart from this visit). Instead, what happened was that we were told roughly eleventy million times that it would be "just another minute" and "they're getting the room ready now". As someone who's not only in a relationship with someone in healthcare, but whose parents are also in the field, I've grown up around it and am aware that there is a need to be transparent and upfront about not only the procedure, but also the time that you should expect to wait or to be treated in. This was not upheld in any fashion. Now that I've gotten that out of the way, let me say this: The visit itself was quite nice, once underway. My hygienist was courteous, efficient and straightforward with questions and suggestions. Dr. Weiner, who went over my x-rays and even noticed a lower jaw trauma from childhood, was fantastic with the way she explained things. The clinic is clean, nice and seems to have a curiously large collection of Will Smith movies which play on the nice flatscreen in their waiting area. Work on the issue of timing/scheduling, and I really think you guys will do well: you've got a nice office and you know what you're doing. If you don't, I simply can't see how you will be able to sustain the long term clients and referrals that become the bread-and-butter to so many small businesses. read more

So glad I get to be 1st to review this place. Me & the BF came here on our Friday off for his 12:30 appointment. He had bought a seemingly sweet groupon for xrays & a cleaning for $29. Unbeknownst to him, it was for a poorly managed clinic. I drafted this review at 2:10---@ this time he still hasn't been seen. The receptionist is kind to apologize for the wait but this is ridiculous. I've had my fair share of waiting at doctor's offices, but a dental office? Not only is the office far as shit away from any actual civilization, customer satisfaction is obviously low on their priorities list. We had already mentioned a separate appointment in the city at 4:00 and again, all we get is "Sorry for the wait." This was followed by "It's just gonna be another few minutes."--repeat this statement x1hour. Is the appointment book being managed by a baboon? Actually, that would be insulting to baboons. UPDATED: The BF didn't leave the office until 3:30, without an explanation for why the visit was so delayed. I had some pain in mouth for a while now and it was def time to visit a dentist and I found this place...when I came in for my appointment I was greeted by friendly staff and was seen by the doctor right on time which is rare! There are only five words that you need to know - they cured my dental phobia. From the first call I placed I knew this was going to be the place I selected, never had I been treated so well, nor has any frontline staff ever taken the time they took with me on the phone. Once i saw how busy the office was I appreciated it that much more. Dr. Marianna Weiner heads an awesome staff that is top of their game, and it is obvious that she demands excellence in every area. I have never seen so many certificates of completion, degrees, letters of commendation, and awards given to one dentist. I had extensive and bad dental work when I was 15 years old, it was traumatic. Working myself up to go to the dentist was difficult, it took me so long to do so that even simple work went unfinished. They are aware many people struggle with this issue, and they work with you to establish a whole schedule of care before you even commit to the work. What I like the most about Envy is that they make you feel like you matter, not only your business. The dental assistant, who only had seen me once before, automatically gave me his hand when it was time for the injections. He remembered me. Everyone remembers you. Dr. Marianna herself even remembered I like herbal tea. It seems like such a small thing, but it makes all the difference. I could not have made a better choice. The expertise is unparalleled, the equipment is all the latest technology, the work is as painless as possible, but the people are what make it. They take care of you. If you are looking for dental work, please visit them. You will not be disappointed. I started this review with stating that they cured my dental phobia. I went from being a person who took 8 months to work up the nerve to go back to the dentist to have a temporary fix of a cracked tooth to be permanently fixed. There is absolutely no reason for anyone to go to this dentist. You can find friendlier, more affordable/ higher quality dental care options just about anywhere else. The fundamental problem with this facility is that there is a barrier between the staff/doctors and the patients. Here, the dentists talk AT you, not with you. They will never once stop to ask if you have any questions or have anything to say. Usually, dentists will discuss the course of the treatment plan with you, but not here. In my opinion, this facility resembles more of a business than a healthcare clinic. And its these kinds of offices you should avoid. Please stay away. You deserve better. read more

I have never seen a dental office like this in my life. I went to the dentist because my tooth fell out and it was an emergency. I had no clue what I was in for. They charged me $2000 for an oral surgeon to come in when locally I could've gotten it in another surgeon's office for $750....I priced this out later on when I was suspicious. They treated me beautifully because they were trying to talk me in to get $30,000 worth of cosmetic caps on my teeth which were not needed. They actually went so far as to lie to me and to tell me that my caps that I had we're not good. They are sneaky and they are manipulative. They gathered around me like troops and one after the other continued to look at my blown up x-rays of my teeth pointing out false statements telling me that I would have problems in the future and I was going to lose my teeth!!! And I was shocked I could not believe what I was hearing and when I said to him oh my God $30,000 they told me oh don't worry you can pay that off and they actually went so far as to mail to my house let us stating that I would get credit to pay that off in time. They are no good these people I got a second opinion and I knew they were lying. They should not be in business. read more

Don't go there! Awful service: 1) I was a client there for a while and they were always trying to convince me to do additional procedures which other doctors didn't recommend to do in my case. So, they just wanted to take as much money as possible from me 2) They promised to give a free tooth cleaning if I refer a friend, so I referred a friend who spent over $ 8K there and they refused to provide me what they promised 3) Finally, when I was frustrated and decided to switch dental office, they didn't want to give me Release documents. They asked money for it, even though all other medical and dental offices give it for free without any problems This place is all about money, not about customer service and personal relationships. I need a root canal. When I called to make the appointment the receptionist told me that they accept my insurance. She was very accommodating but not totally honest. The receptionist called me back to inform me that I'll have to pay $175 for Xrays. I asked if I could use the xrays I took two days earlier at my dentist and I was told that I couldn't. Got there this morning; the staff including the dentist were pleasant but they informed me that my insurance would not cover the cost; after telling me that they accepted my plan. I could have made an appointment with an honest establishment that takes my plan. While I was in the dentist's chair the receptionist came in to tell me that their services are more expensive because the services I receive through the union plan have inferior dentists. I asked if the dentist can give a me prescription for pain and I was told by the staff member that I would have to pay her $200. I walked out never to return to that place. Maybe the dentists are good..I'll never know but the they lure patients to they office under false pretense. They got $175 from me for NO SERVICE...Crooks. read more

It was a Groupon deal, so (unfortunately) I don't know that I should have expected the same courteous service as a full-price paying customer... Maybe the receptionist was having a bad day a while back, but I was greeted with major attitude. Apparently I had not responded to some emails that were sent to me from their office so I sensed that she was a bit annoyed, and I completely understand that not responding to emails is rude, but there used to be a saying that the "customer is always right", so the attitude should have been cut out. I apologized. Let it go :) Beautiful office by the way!!!! There's (or at least when I went) an iPad set up for patients to complete their paper work. It kept freezing. Maybe it works now though :) ...Kinda felt like I was being "upsold" some sealants. Teeth were perfectly fine. Spoke with another dentist that said they're unnecessary. The dentist seemed friendly and professional. However, while I waited, the receptionist had a pretty loud, non-dental personal conversation on the phone. I have been a client of Envy Smile Dental spa for about 4 years. I have a good dental insurance, so I can't speak to their prices. I've had the usual cleanings, fillings, and root canals done. The dentists always listen to my concerns about pain. There's no way to have a 100% pain free dental visit, but one the numbing agent is injected it becomes 90% more tolerable. The hygienists have been hit or miss. I am very sensitive to the instruments they use for cleaning and it's always a fight to get them to use the manual tools. I get that the modern machinery provides a deeper cleaning but I can't handle it, so there! The staff is always friendly, not overly friendly, but I never feel ignored. The wait it never too long, I think there were two instances where I had to wait long. The office is very nicely done, modern, and comfortable. They stream movies sometimes and you can even watch a movie while getting your teeth done. My only 2 gripes and the only reason I won't give 5-stars, is 1) that they push cosmetic work a lot. I have two kids, It would be great to have a perfect smile, but my kids health and well being is more important. 2) I feel like they change dental staff fairly often, I work in a medial center and our MD's are with us for years, Aside from Dr. Weiner, every year there's a new person tending to my teeth. Its about organization of the office .I came for orthodontic consultation, but did not even see a doctor , because nobody actually care there. 1 hour waiting with making appointment . 1 hour!!!! Actually one woman was offering to drink something, but it will not help because how you can make clients wait so long?!
