Dr Pan was great and took 45 minutes to do the right side of my mouth for fillings. Dr Melka did the left side in 15 minutes, put no caps on and the next time I went to the dentist had to redo all of hers. Ask for Dr Pan!! Can't speak to Dr D as much but the laziness and lack of care from Dr Melka is frustrating and now expensive read more

I came to this office for tooth extraction and dentures, in severe pain. I am on medicaid and needed emergency extractions so I could get dentures. I had someone willing to help me have my teeth extracted. Dr. Igor Deckhkanov and Dr. Howard Wang intentionally harmed me and refused me full tooth extraction and dentures. I have infection, bone loss, metal allergies and type 2 diabetes. Dentures are literally my only option. Dr. Wang cracked a tooth and broke two crowns extracting only four teeth. Dr. Wang refused to extract anymore saying they weee healthy teeth, which is false. CBCT proved him totally wrong. Dr. Wang charged over $6000 to cause me harm removing only four teeth for that ridiculous price. Dr. Dekhkanov charged $1000 to replace the temporary crowns Dr. Wang broke. They were on horribly decayed, painful teeth Dr. Wang refused to extract. The temporaries look like they were made by a preschooler. Their xrays and cbct were unusable by other dentists and were $600. Dr. Dekhkanov intentionally did not point out infection in my teeth and mouth. I had to point it out to him on CBCT. It is overt infection needing biopsy and culture. And then Dr. Dekhkanov prescribed me a pediatric dose of antibiotic to treat the infection he tried to hide from me. He and Dr. Wang refused to extract my teeth for dentures. I am already missing 10 teeth. I believe their refusal was an intent to prevent treatment of infection and bone loss. I believe they work with the shadow government in this metaverse who intend to cause harm to very specific people. Evil men. I have conditions which prevent me from being able to have further crowns and root canals. Dentures are the only option for teeth, and they refused. THIS PLACE IS A SCAM. Absolutely wouldn't recommend to my worst enemy. I have had no cavities in over 20 years going to the dentist regularly. I went in for the first time for a cleaning back in February to Williamsburg Dental Works. I had my cleaning and X-rays done and was told by the dentist that I had EIGHT cavities, needed an $840 gum procedure, and recommended a $500 night guard for my grinding my teeth at night. Obviously I was very very skeptical about this so I came back to my hometown dentist this morning and was told I have NO cavities and that the gum procedure was not at all necessary. I also got a $50 nightguard as opposed to spending hundreds of dollars. These people at Williamsburg Dental Works are just trying to scare people out of over $3,000 (for me) and I cannot believe they get away with it. Horrible excuse for a dentist office. read more

Impressive! Clean! Professional! Exceptional! It sad that when you get excellent service it feels so shocking but with no many businesses out there who don't value their customers it is truly refreshing to experience a place like Williamsburg Dental Works! I knew I was in for a great experience even before my visit because the customer care over the phone booking the appointment was amazing! I even had to reschedule same day and I was met with kindness empathy and a swift reschedule with no question. Now the day of my visit I stepped into the office and felt like I was stepping into the home of friends! I was greeted with two gorgeous fashionable and incredibly professional administrators who welcomed with a warm smile and warm welcome. They took temp and encouraged hand washing and gloves. I was taken back almost instantly where I was thanked for coming in! The technicians were bubbly kind and made getting X-rays less stressful as we all know the discomfort of those on the gums. What made it even better was that they have a tv both in front of you and on the ceiling and you can pick your entertainment! This is a WOW because I hate the sound of the cleaning drill and being able to watch a home makeover show looking at sofas and throw pillows took the edge off. Now enter Dr. Igor this man loves what he does. He clearly values patient care and experience. He was not rushed he was dialed into speaking with me explaining everything with a tooth model and was focused on my appointment. I've had dentists where it feels like they are just rushing room to room no personal care. He talked me through what he was seeing and explained the best care options very carefully and in a way I could understand. After a great cleaning that was painless and home decor filled I headed out... Oh yes it gets better! Now I'm back at the front desk. I was having my upcoming services explained to me and after a bit of sticker shock (man dentistry is not cheap even with insurance) I was calmed and reassured and given several options. Then I was able to grab some great home care items including a electronic toothbrush and other supplies. The team at the front desk is so patient focused and clearly love people. The gentleman who helped me even asked for feedback so he can improve his service! I thought...can it get better?! I walked out feeling clean, valued and eager to return and that is never the case for the dentist! If you're looking for a great dentist office where you feel like family instead of a file and can get high tech top of the line care visit them just check it out. Simply amazing experience (which is always welcome for a dental visit!). I chipped my tooth last night and couldn't get to my regular dentist. I love this place! I live nearby and they were able to see me same day as an emergency for a wisdom tooth extraction. Everyone was so kind despite how anxious and upset I was. After finding out I had to get the tooth taken out right away I panicked a little (or a lot..) and they put on The Office on Netflix for me to calm down a little and it was so kind and helped so much. I now have a treatment plan in place for the rest of the wisdom teeth & feel so relieved to have found a good spot. They're also really good about reviewing the cost for every single thing so you feel comfortable and understand what you're paying for. I cannot recommend the services of Dr. Igor Dekhkanov and his entire team highly enough. For those of you in Manhattan that say "why would I go to Williamsburg for dental care", just keep in mind. when it comes to your medical care, shouldn't it be "quality over convenience"? Just shayin'... Having not only excellent care and top notch technology, but also a philosophy that includes the patient in the entire process. I have had several relatively pain-free root canals (how often can you leave the dentist after one and make it happily to a brunch an hour and a half later with no pain???), and Dr. D enlisted my help in choosing the shade of the crown. FEAR OF NEEDLES? Think nothing of it here...truly some of the most pain-free ones I have ever received. I have had extensive restorative and preventive work (even an implant) and now am on to Invisalign, for the "perfect finishing touch". The treatment rooms are modern and all equipped with the latest A/V capabilities, so you can catch up on Netflix on either the wall or CEILING MOUNTED screens (when you're flat in the chair you can still see your flick)! Additionally, there's nothing cooler than seeing the changes expected at various stages in treatment. The administrative team is also spectacular and knowledgeable, handling all insurance matters with an unfathomable degree of excellence...claims are a breeze! I researched this place on Yelp and Dr. D got many favorable reviews. I was looking for a new dentist in the neighborhood and decided to call. I wanted to get in for a cleaning and also to have a front tooth fixed/bonding repaired before I went to a professional conference. Dr D's schedule couldn't accommodate me, but Dr Michelle Nguyen's schedule could. She was able to see me on a Sunday even. I left my last dentist office because I felt like they didn't really care about me, didn't listen to me, rushed during procedures, talked over me, and other things!! I have super sensitive teeth, so the only reason I stayed there was because the hygienist was gentle on my teeth. Needless to say, I was scared to go to a new dentist. But I am so glad I went here!! Dr Nguyen was excellent! She really listened ti me and cared about my feelings. She fixed my front tooth that has been bad for quite a while now. She took her time, and did it right. She matched the color perfectly to my actual teeth. For months now, I have felt bad when I smiled. Now, I feel like a new person! I hope Dr Nguyen stays at this practice, I'd love to see her again. I also got a cleaning from Joon. She was SO gentle! It didn't hurt a bit. I can never usually handle the electric cleaner because of my sensitivities, but Joon did it so well, it was a breeze. Amazing! My sister told me to contact Dr Dekhkanov for an emergency dental issue. I called in to see about making an appointment and the receptionist was incredibly helpful and helped to secure an appointment for the following day. His front desk and his dental assistant are amazing and empathetic. I then met Dr.Dekhkanov, who is very personable and professional. He was efficient and gentle (needle? what needle?) which made this honestly the best appointment I have had with a dentist ever. I don't leave negative reviews unless they are warranted. We went in for a teeth cleaning a few months back. The cleaning and office itself was fine and frankly, not worth reviewing one way or the other. After the cleaning, Dr. D told me that based on the digital X-Rays they ran, I had 5 cavities that needed filling. I was surprised as I hadn't had a cavity in about 20 years and had no pain whatsoever in my mouth. I normally would take a dentist at his word, but I was weary about this diagnosis. So I got a 2nd opinion from my childhood dentist in my hometown. They ran a set of full X-rays. Surprisingly, I had 0 cavities. If you go here, and the dentist gives you a multiple cavity diagnosis, you may want to get a 2nd opinion. So, unfortunately I have to give them 1 out of 5 stars and I will be reporting them to the NY dental board. read more

Dr. D and his team are friendly, inviting, and fantastic. I have never had to wait more than 5 minutes from moment of arrival and the time in the chair is as comfortable as any dental visit can be. I have recently had to had deep cleanings and 3 cavities filled and they were expedient in taking care of all of it in only two visits. His tagline is "we take care of patients, not just their teeth" and that is shown in even their follow-up texts asking how I was feeling the next day. This charming Russian-Jewish doctor Igor with the unpronounceable last name :-) is BY FAR the best dentist around, and aren't we lucky to be living here in Williamsburg, just minutes from his clinic! Very professional, easy going, punctual. No wait time. The personnel is friendly and smiling, feels like a little community. They remembered the name of my spouse (who has since become one of their patients, as well as most of our friends in need for a good dentist). Yesterday during the appointment Dr. D took the time to walk me through a couple of YouTube videos related to a new treatment technique that he recommended. On a more general note, the whole operation is really well put together. In particular, the receptionist Iris is a wiz in following up with insurance carriers and getting them to respond. All the dentists, assistants and front desk staff are very friendly, helpful and make going to the dentist a lovely experience. I went to this dentist and was told I had 3 cavities. I was travelling right after this and did not have time to get the procedure done. I was worrying about my teeth for a couple months and finally went to another dentist, I was surprised when I was told that I actually had zero cavities!
