I am a big guy who hates wearing suit jackets and sport coats. That being said, I tend to be fairly fashion-minded and extremely preppy. My size and preppy don't come standard in most stores and definitely not in my price range. For a while I've been saying I wanted to have a custom suit made that I can use for formal events at work (I mostly wear dress shirt, slacks, and tie at work) and in other circumstances. With my sister's wedding coming up later this year I decided to go the custom route now. I found Enzo's online and after comparing them to other custom options in the Philadelphia area, I made an appointment. To be clear, Enzo was neither the least or most expensive option, but based on websites and reviews was one that felt the most comfortable. At my first appointment Aaron immediately made be feel welcomed and comfortable. I had dreaded getting measured by a tailor or consultant you might make small comments about my size, but Aaron was both quick and professional. I can't remember if I read it on the Enzo website or in a comment here on Yelp, but someone stated that after measurements were taken the customer sat at a computer and picked out options which seemed really impersonal to me. However, instead of a computer Aaron walked me through all the options. I consider myself decisive, but some of these choices are difficult and Aaron couldn't really help except to point me to what other people had selected. As he kept saying, "it's really about your personality." I feel like I picked most options based on my personality and a few based on a need to be semi-conservative at work. True to their website, all the options are included in the price. So where do they make their money? The fabric for the suit. The "low end" is pretty basic; from there it gets interesting and expensive very quickly. I was torn between a nice grey window pane from the basic line and another grey patterned fabric from the next step up, eventually deciding to go with the less expensive one for a variety of reasons. Because of the pattern and my measurements Aaron reached out for a short second appointment to clarify a few measurements (measure twice, cut once applying to suits as well). At this point I am waiting for the suit to come in. I am cautiously optimistic and assuming that I like the suit then I plan to go back for a sport coat and possibly a few vests. One note for bigger folks: you probably guessed (as I did) that there would be some sort of extra charge for us because of the additional fabric required even though this is not noted on the Enzo website. Based on horror stories from my boss who is also a big man, I feared that it might be 20%-30%. In reality there was a simple 9% up charge meaning that my suit was about $60 more than standard. That wasn't a problem for me, but be aware of it before you walk in. read more

First and foremost, I have to say - I'm not a guy who posts reviews normally, especially for tailors/clothiers. I've had so much bad luck with different companies in this space over the years that I just convinced myself my standards were too high and I simply moved on.. That was until recently, however, when I met Danielle Holland at Enzo's Custom Clothiers who completely changed everything for me. To give a little context, I'm a former college athlete, current crossfit competitor, and former personal trainer who has an annoyingly athletic build (44R with a 32in waist) which has made buying off the rack impossible. I've spent more on tailoring in my life than I care to remember and I have still never ended up with a garment that fit better than "ok", somehow always ending up too tight and too baggy, all at once. So when I moved to Philadelphia recently, I was in need of multiple suits for my new job and, again, back at square 1 with no clue where to go.. Luckily though, people seem to be much more proactive than myself when it comes to posting reviews which, by way of stellar Yelp feedback, led me directly to Enzo's (ironic, i know). In just a few minutes, I scheduled an appointment with Danielle online and within just a few days, I was meeting with her in the Enzo's showroom. This meeting could have been a 30 minute consultation just to talk through what I was looking for but I decided to pull the trigger and jump right into a fitting instead. This fitting was a 90 minute session (which was about 85 more minutes than any tailor has ever been willing to spend with me) and the time absolutely flew by! Not only was Danielle great to chat with, she was also incredibly thorough and knowledgeable. The sheer number of measurements, photos and notes that she took for my custom suits and shirt blew my mind. Every detail was documented and she even helped me navigate more than a few questions that I was completely clueless about (apparently shirts have yokes... who knew?). And if that wasn't enough, she even poured me a glass of bourbon while we worked through everything... Probably the most Don Draper moment of my life and I can't say I hated it. The real kicker though - when i went back in the next week to try everything on and see what additional tweaks might have to be made, I was floored... Everything fit perfectly.. Something that I've never experienced before in my entire life. Not one adjustment needed to be made and I walked out with the only perfectly fitting garments I've ever owned that same day. Danielle is a rock-star, and that's coming from a guy who's a high-maintenance, tough to please and has impossible standards. I will be returning to her soon for a sport coat and I would highly recommend her to anyone. You would be doing yourself a favor. read more

Let me start by saying I am extremely picky when it comes to the fit of my suits; I personally prefer a more fashion forward, slim fitting suit and let me tell you that's exactly what I got. I stumbled upon Enzo while trying to decide where to purchase a tux for my wedding. Originally I was looking to purchase one from a designer such as Hugo Boss or Burberry only to find that some of these guys didn't even make made to measure suits (don't get me wrong some of them do). But after doing some research and hearing about Enzo from Men's Style Pro Blogger Sabir, I decided to give it a shot, I figured at the very least I would schedule an appointment and see what the had to offer. I was more than impressed after my initial visit. Melissa was very receptive to my input in regards to what I was looking for, and super helpful as well as knowledgeable while choosing everything from material, to buttons, to lapels, to shirts/collar styles, to fit...the list keeps going. Not to mention at no time did I feel pressured to make a purchase. It was a friendly and comfortable environment, I mean she even offered me a glass of scotch to sip on while we chatted. I was sold, I was ready to make my purchase that day. To make things even better the prices were extremely affordable. The entry tux package started at $599 if I'm not mistaken. How can you beat that? That includes the tux, bow tie, shirt and cuff links...all made to measure. Everywhere else I looked, all in, was going to be north of 1-2K, and the fit was not nearly as nice. Now for the fit. I had two follow up appointments, the first was for any alterations, the second was the final fitting, although I'm sure if I had any other problem areas Melissa would have taken care of it. The tux and shirt fit great the first time around, the only thing was that I wanted my pants slimmed out a bit more. We purposely left them larger just so I could get a gauge of what they would look like, plus it's easier to take away then add fabric. Melissa then pinned them up for me so I could see what the final product would look like. About a week and half later it was done, I went in one last time and the tux looked great, even better than the high end designer brands I had tried at the KOP mall. Melissa and Emily were more than accommodating from the start to finish, they were professional, courteous, and timely with every step of the process. All quoted times were on point, and email communication never lagged! These ladies were stellar, and I will be back to purchase a suit. read more

For my upcoming wedding in August, I decided that I wanted to buy a well-fitting, custom suit that would become my "go-to" suit in the future. I am a pretty skinny dude (5'10", 135 lbs), and pretty much every suit or rental tux I have ever worn has felt like a bag on me, so I wanted to get something that would fit me well physically and would suit my style. This is a big day, after all. I had heard about Enzo from acquaintances and decided to go in for an appointment after reading some reviews online. Little bit of background: I wear jeans and a t-shirt to work every day. It is rare that I have an occasion to wear something more formal than khakis and a button down. This is to say: I know nothing about suits. I met with Aaron once during the initial appointment, again for a second fitting once the suit came in for some final adjustments, and one last time to try on the finished product before taking it home. During the first appointment, Aaron guided me through a host of choices for customizing the suit, from the type and color of fabric to the buttons and accent stitching on the sleeves. I appreciated that he gave me his input without being pushy on certain choices for which I didn't have strong feelings. He also gave recommendations based on my style and personality, which I think really shows through in the finished suit. I'll give you one example: Aaron told me patch pockets fit my personality. I was a little nervous about this choice initially but knew he was spot-on as soon as I tried the suit on for the first time. The finished suit fits incredibly well and the quality feels impressive. I am so pumped to wear this suit on my wedding day, and I will definitely be more inclined to seek out formal events in the future as an excuse to break out this bad-ass suit. Oh, and did I mention I got an astronaut embroidered inside the coat? Yeah...this is my space suit. Thanks Aaron for helping me get exactly what I had in mind without me even being able to put into words what that was. I cannot say enough positive things about Enzo, particularly their manager, Alexandra. Let me state at the outset that customer service is a huge factor for me in who I chose to do business with, regardless of the quality or prices. My fiance and I had an appointment with Alexandra to fit him for a custom made tuxedo for our upcoming wedding. When we arrived for our appointment at 8 p.m., I casually stated to Alexandra that I did not realize that Enzo took appointments that late in the evening. She told me that they typically do not but she did because it accommodated our schedule, which I very much appreciated. Before trying on the garments, Alexandra answered all questions that my fiance and I had. Throughout the fitting she was extremely professional and clearly very knowledgeable. I believe she told me that she has been in the business for 10 years, which gave both my fiance and I comfort knowing that we were in the right hands. If you are a person who knows that they want a nice suit but does not know exactly what to ask for, Alexandra offers her opinion without being overbearing or pushy. I was very grateful that she had such detailed knowledge of her craft because there were certainly things about the suit that my fiance, nor myself, would have known to ask about because naturally, you don't know what you don't know. We just placed our order so we do not have the suit back yet but the quality of the materials were absolutely wonderful and I have no doubt that we be more than satisfied with the final product. After losing a good amount of weight in a short period of time, I knew that I needed to purchase some new suits. Off-the-rack suits, even very expensive ones, don't fit me very well and my only choice in the past had been to buy separates or have my suits custom made. I had tried another mail order based company in the past but wasn't satisfied with the results. My business partner had seen an advertisement for Enzo and we decided to give them a try. When I met Rafi at Enzo Custom Clothiers, I was immediately impressed by all of the options for fabric and custom options. The best part was that nearly every custom option was included in the basic suit price. Rafi spent over an hour with me, taking measurements and making sure that I would be happy with the finished product. When I received the suit about three weeks later, I couldn't believe how well it fit and how amazing it looks. I immediately ordered two additional suits, three shirts, and a few ties. The second and third suit were just as impressive as the first and the shirts fit better than any I have worn before. I've received positive comments on my suits from New York investment bankers, Oil and Gas executives, and friends at social events. I strongly recommend their quality of work and outstanding customer service. Don't even think of going to Men's Wearhouse, Joseph A Bank, or any department store.. For about the same amount of money, you will be much much happier with the Enzo product. read more

When it comes to a grown up's 1st big "boy suit" there has been no other establishment that has been more than helpful than Enzo's Custom Clothiers. Enzo's is not your typical custom clothier. Arthur Silber's experience, care and knowledge are second to none. Not having the fortune of growing up with a grandfather, father or older brother one never had the ability to understand the benefits of a crafted custom suit. So if you have fears, apprehensions, stop! Arthur and Enzo's will take care of you from head to toe and I means toes. Their shoe selections are quite amazing as well. I've been able to purchase 3 suits in the last 3 months and now going back for a 4th next week. 1st and 4th timers will enjoy the red carpet treatment without having to buy a "red carpet." You want embroidery, no worries; colored stitching no problem; your company's web site on the inside of your jacket, done. All at no extra charge. This is a complete creative process so if you're in a rush reschedule. Between the quality choices and Arthur's fashion forward approach he makes you feel and look like you're wearing a $4K suit but for $600 - $700 dollars. Enzo suits have literally changed my life. They've added a confidence that I never knew existed when wearing their suits as well as compliments from complete strangers on our Philadelphia Streets. A friend of mine suggested that I visit Enzo's for a custom suit for my wedding. I made an online appointment and went to Enzo's in August. My fitter that I was assigned was Nick Decreo. I was blown away by his exceptional service. I am a big guy and have never had a piece of clothing that ever has fit me well. Nick went thru a series of detailed fitting techniques, and personal touches I can add to my suit. My suit came in literally 100% perfect with no alterations needed. I procrastinated and had a tight timeline of 1 month to get this suit done. The suit arrived in approximately 2 weeks. I cant stress enough how much I love my new suit. For a few more dollars than men's wearhouse and jos a bank you can have a top quality suit with exceptional service. I highly suggest requesting Nick if you make an appointment. Aside from being incredible at his job he never tried to suggest me upcharges and was a genuine person. I told him I was a cigar enthusiast and he walked over to Holts cigar store after my fitting and bought me one of his favorite cigars. Was such a nice gesture that I will never forget. I plan on meeting up with Nick at Holts to hang out with him in the future. I came to Enzo's to get a suit, and left with an incredible suit as well as a friend. Nick made me a lifelong customer, I can't say enough good things about him or his business. read more

Went to Enzo's after dealing with a nightmare custom clothing experience so I was very skeptical, especially with their pricing be so low. Two years ago I did the 'Hong Kong' custom tailor thing and they had to remake my suits 4 TIMES before I demanded a refund. I know I'm a hard fit but come on! Only reason I even tried the process a second time was because I heard people ranting about it in my building. Also their showroom is literally across the street from my office so figured it was worth a shot. The experience was incredible. Asked me what music I wanted to listen to, offered me some scotch (went in the middle of the day so I declined), and began going through the process. In my opinion, they might have too many options. But their representative, Alaina, went through everything with me and advised me what to pick. Was expecting an old Italian guy or something so having a younger girl their did through me off a bit and add to my skepticism. She was articulate, sweet and answered all my questions. But with all do respect to Alaina, I didn't think she had a shot in heck of getting it right. Came in for my fitting today and got THE BEST FITTING SUIT I HAVE EVER OWNED. Had to adjust the length of the pants (they said it would take about a week) but other than that, PERFECT. Recommend them to anyone in the market for a suit. read more

I worked with Nick Decero at Enzo Custom to purchase a tuxedo for my wedding. The entire experience and the tuxedo that I ended up purchasing were amazing. Nick was great to work with because he was easy to talk to, professional and very knowledgeable. I initially met with him for a consultation where he walked me through the entire process and we looked at a lot of different fabrics. The showroom was very nice and comfortable and I never felt like I was being rushed throughout the process. As the name implies, the entire tuxedo was custom so I was able to select everything from the fabric, type of lapel and pockets down to minor details such as the interior lining, buttons and collar felt. They even threw in a few special touches like putting my wedding date under the collar. One of the things that I really appreciated was that Nick had a great sense of style so he was able to provide me with some great recommendations on which details would go together well with the look that I was trying to achieve. The tuxedo was ready in a couple of weeks and when I went to pick it up, it fit perfectly with no need for alterations. The tuxedo looks amazing and even better than I expected. Had the pleasure of working with the clothier-Aaron Bliese, to select some excellent bespoke suits a couple months ago. The entire process was a pleasure, and the showroom was very comfortable with a wide range of high end fabrics as well as more durable wear fabrics for my more utilitarian suits. (In my line of work, I need to wear suits for travel, business and entertaining clients) Just received my final garments and can honestly say they are some of the finest custom made to measure garments I have ever worn! I've been purchasing bespoke suits for over fifteen years and have worked with tailors at several different companies in Bangkok, NYC, Philadelphia and Boston. Aaron was extremely attentive and made sure I had many options to meet my particular needs. There was a slight fit issue with one vest, for my three piece suit I ordered. Aaron was very apologetic and quickly worked to order a new piece, not just adjust or try to retrofit the existing vest. This attention to detail and customer satisfaction is what you can expect from purchasing from Enzo Customs!! I highly recommend this shop for all your bespoke menswear needs! I came to Enzo to get a custom suit made for my wedding. Faouzi worked with us from start to finish from choosing all the custom options for my suit to the multiple fittings and adjustments that eventually resulted in a perfectly fitted and great looking suit. I was astonished with how many customization options there are when it comes to making a suit and Faouzi helped make the process go smoothly and that I got exactly what I wanted. To sum up my experience, the way Faouzi treated us and did his job should be the standard for how business is done. In my honest opinion, I've never had a more positive experience with a business/professional from a client's perspective. I felt comfortable and relaxed during what I felt could potentially be a stuffy process, and the way he treated me and spoke to me like a regular human being rather than just an anonymous client can be taken as a lesson for how businesses should treat their customers. I am moving across the country next week, but if I ever need another custom suit in the future I would seriously consider flying back to Philly just to work with Faouzi again. read more

I own several suits, jackets, and shirts made by Enzo Custom and can't say enough great things about them. Most recently, I've been working with Faouzi. He is both incredibly fun to work with and has a great eye for detail. Faouzi works with me each time to create the exact article I am looking for. He is always ready with helpful suggestions about style, fit, options, and alterations. I have been extremely pleased with each piece that I purchased from Enzo. The selection at Enzo Custom continues to grow and impress me. I have several jackets and a tuxedo made from Loro Piana fabrics which are simply outstanding. The options run the full range from great starter prices to some truly amazing fabrics. The pricing is transparent and very fair. Most options are included, which I think makes for a great process. You never feel like you are being up-sold and are able to create some fun, unique garments. Whether you are looking to give custom tailoring a try or are in need of a high-end custom Zegna suit (at a great price!), I would highly recommend going to Enzo Custom and working with Faouzi. read more

My daughter was getting married and I debated whether to rent a tuxedo or buy a new black suit. After seeing the custom suit my nephew purchased from Enzo Custom Clothiers for his wedding, I was sold. Melissa was the person I met on my initial visit. I explained what I was looking for and why, and she quickly, methodically and in a professional, yet very friendly manner walked me through the entire process of selecting my suit, shirts and ties. Throughout the entire process, she was always available to answer my questions, regardless of what I asked, and was extremely thoughtful and courteous. I never felt pressured; rather Melissa made me feel very comfortable from the first time we met. I received numerous compliments on my daughter's wedding day on how good my suit looked and fit....after saying thank you, I quickly said "Go see Melissa at Enzo Custom Clothiers". I couldn't be more pleased with my Enzo purchase. Now that I know how a real suit is supposed to look and fit, I will definitely be going back to Melissa, and Enzo. Nick is stellar. friendly, polite and very professional, he is excellent and a pleasure to work with. Have gotten a suit and a tux from them so far. I've gotten some other custom suits from other similarly priced companies and enzo includes a lot of "upgrade" tailoring options for free that I had to pay for elsewhere (working cuffs, reinforced areas, ticket pocket, and more), which is nice because they are things you really want in a custom suit but not things that are truly worth paying for in this price range as they add up quickly. Great options, easy to interface. The first time you get a suit its a bit time consuming (which is really part of getting a great fitting custom suit). Your second order is seamless and super easy. The only reservation I have is the ties. I can't really complain since both times I got a tie for free with my suit, but they aren't close to the quality of their suits. They look nice at first but both have pilled after only a handful of uses. Great for free, but if you're thinking about buying a tie from them, I'd probably look elsewhere. read more

There are suits that only check boxes. Suits that anonymize the man and confirm him to the occasion. Enzo's Custom doesn't make those suits. Enzo's custom makes transformative suits that you search for excuses to wear. My Enzo's suit makes me feel as if all my best notions of myself have been amplified and taken hold in reality. It is the me I would like to be given form in cloth and thread. My wedding brought me to Enzo's and I arrived not so much with a picture of how I wanted to look, but a notion of how I wanted to feel. Nick did an extraordinary job of helping me to translate that notion into reality. I was deeply impressed with his attention to detail and at every step he explained what he was doing so I very much felt actively engaged in the process. Based on my experience at the first fitting going back for the followup felt like going to see a friend. As I look back on my wedding, arguably the most important day of my life, I can't imagine wearing anything else. My Enzo's Custom suit was perfect in every respect. It will not be my last. read more

I am really impressed with the quality of the products and the people at Enzo. I am from Atlanta and I am so impressed that I save all of my suit buying for my trips to Philly. Arthur provides great fashion advice in addition to taking personal pride in his work and being meticulous about crafting the perfect suit. I have purchased five suits, numerous shirts, a sports coat and trousers since April. The quality of the materials is superb, and they are obsessive about the fit. All of my garments fit perfectly . . . and their prices are very reasonable, especially given the quality and fit of the finished product. I will never buy another mass-manufactured suit again! Arthur does an awesome job with the fit and selection, and Marisa is so helpful and accommodating on scheduling and coordinating. They know how to treat customers very well, which is something many companies have forgotten how to do. They have the perfect blend of people, product, and customer service. I don't usually write reviews but honestly Enzo's, and my experience there, made me want to make use of my dusty yelp app. My experience at Enzo's was phenomenal. First of all, its super cool. You walk in and it's like this futuristic man cave. You are instantly greeted with a hello and an offer to have something to drink (which I later found out was super tasty scotch). Sarah, who was my personal suit helper, was extremely thorough. I never felt like she was trying aggressively up sell me as I have felt at other high-end clothing stores before. I felt that she was just trying to help in whatever way made us the most comfortable and happy. I was nervous about price at the end but when everything was finally added up (this was my wedding suit so I was prepared for big numbers!) I found the prices very affordable for the quality of the suit. What I came out with was a very authentic, custom made, very personal suit. My experience at Enzo can only be described as sublime. What a pleasure to get fitted here and treated so well by such a professional staff! In particular, Nick was a standout. He helped design a suit for me that fit impeccably. I have a pretty hard body to fit, and many places that I went to before Enzo either turned me away or tried to fit me in something off-the-rack. Nick heard and understood my concerns. He was a pro from start to finish, presenting me with several options that could've fit any reasonable budget. The entire process was seamless. My suit was complete way before the deadline. I have never fit into a suit better than the one Enzo prepared for me. Nick is a perfectionist, fastidious and thorough. He measured me several times to ensure his numbers were correct and offered design and fit advice that complimented my body shape. In short, I could not be happier with my purchase.
