I needed a suit for my niece's wedding while also needing to update my dress wardrobe. So, I thought I would try a custom suit and give Indochino a shot. In the end, I was very disappointed by both the service and the end product. The staff member that measured me was not friendly, seemed uninterested in servicing me, and lacked the customer service skills I would expect from a custom suit maker. Once I received my suit and tried it on, it was the worst fitting suit I ever experienced. I contacted the store to inquire about having additional alternations done and the sales rep, who was rather put off by my request, said to me.. "are you sure that you are wearing the suit correctly?" it me, that was an insult. After having a second fitting they said that I would get a call and a text when my suit is ready in two weeks. After two weeks, I called and they said.. "Oh, we tried calling you" but I never received a call or a text. After picking up the suit, my event was only two days away so I did not try it on at the store. When I did, it still did not fit properly. In fact, the pants felt no different and I wondered if anything was even done. I will not be going back to Indochino in Philadelphia. They seriously need to work on their customer service, their general attitude, and providing a product that actually meets their price point. read more

I purchased two suits in April 2023. Now it is November 2024, and I ended up getting a couple of suits whose arms are so tight I cannot wear. See the picture. My Apple Watch gets stuck and I have to pull the sleeve to get the Watch out. I wanted to make several suits, and decided to try a few stores specialized in tailored suits, and Indochino was one of those. The guy who was in charge with me was nice and fashionable, but it turned out he had no idea about tailoring. I waited for a month for the suits to get tailored and ready, but when I came in, it was dissappointing. The sleeves were extremely tight. Pants were so buggy. I think whoever tailoring the suits cannot follow the order. I asked the pants to be adjusted in the same way but three pants came back in totally different waist size and length! These things never happened in other tailored suit stores. I asked everything to be re-done, and they were nice to promice to fix everything, but when the suits came back after another month, things were better but sleeves were still too tight. After two visits asking the same fix, I thought it's a waste of time to go back, so I told them to fix the sleeves as promised, but the store manager refused to fix them unless I come in again (I I was asking the suits to be fixed as agreed in my previous visit!) So I gave up. It was not cheap, but not expensive either, and not worth my time to deal with this. It's been already a few months. This was mid-2023. I was also either too busy or not in Philadelphia anyway. In fall 2024, a new store manager contacted me and promised to fix things. But he told me this is a "special favor" since, even though Indochino promises to keep working until a customer is satisfied, this "promise" has a time limit, and they won't do anything after a few months. I went into the store, and did the fitting again (but they didn't even bother to measure, which made me worry), and asked them to fix the sleeves as i asked them 18 months ago. The new store manager was nice. But the result was the same. They shipped the suits right away as promised but I found that they just shipped then suits without doing anything; the sleeves are almost exactly the same. It is possible that the new store manager wanted to dump these suits asap. See the picture. My Watch gets stuck in the sleeve. I know individual experiences differ and many seem happy with them but I never had such a terrible service in my life and wholeheartedly recommend eveybody to avoid this store and go to similar places such as Suitsupply. We came here for a custom wedding tux for my fiance. They took measurements in store and when the tux arrived to our house, the jacket was entirely too small. We brought it into the store for them to try to make the jacket bigger, but they weren't able to fix the issue. They then had us come back for measurements to send out a new jacket. We are now the week of our wedding and the second jacket arrived in the mail two days ago. It is entirely the wrong jacket. None of the details we had asked for and paid for were present. We are devastated! We are now 1 week away and don't have a tux jacket for the groom. They had told us there was nothing they could do at this point. Horrible experience, clearly not capable of providing the service they advertise. Please save yourself the headache and get your custom suits/tux anywhere but here. I went to Indochino to get a new suit for a friend's wedding. I went in-store to have their associates get the most accurate measurements. What arrived on my doorstop a few weeks later was the worst-fitting suit I have ever put on - far worse than any off-the-rack options I've had in the past. I used their tailoring services 3 times after that to get it fixed and we were nowhere closer to an appropriate-fitting suit. I used my external (non-Indochino) tailor, who did the best she could with the awful suit that made fixed it into something marginally-wearable in time for the wedding. The Indochino manager, Damani, told me I could have a new suit made at no charge to make up for how this one turned out. When I went to redeem that offer, I found out that Damani no longer works there, they had no record of my multiple alterations done there, and that they would not honor that offer. Needless to say I will not be wasting my money with Indochino again. You're much better off trying a different company. read more

My wedding is not until next April but I wanted to get s jump on things. So I made an appointment for a suit fitting. I really had no clue what I wanted or how the whole process worked. I thought we were off to a bad start getting there at 11:06 for an 11:00 appointment. They were not upset about it though. Parking in center city is never easy on a Saturday. So give yourself enough time. There were three males and one female being fitted for suits. I had called ahead of time to make sure they wouldn't have a problem fitting one female and adding one more to the party. Neither were an issue and they responded within a day by both email and with a phone call. I couldn't doubt the changes had been made at that point. So finally the day arrived and we went in. The whole process went so smoothly. Quinn, who was helping me was amazing! Even with how indecisive I was being. He was fantastic at helping me make each and every decision. He didn't allow me to get stuck on small details and had very helpful suggestions. Even in the midst of all our wise cracks and messing around he was able to keep us on track. The entire process was like a well oiled machine. I had been iffy on whether I was buying one that day or just feeling out the market. However we ended up buying all four right away. I had such a pleasant time that I practically threw my debit card at him and begged him to charge me extra. Practically.... I highly suggest anyone looking for a suit book a consolation here. I normally just buy my suits off the rack but honestly you end up paying just as much when you could come here and have it fitted for you. I will have to update when my suit arrives in 4 weeks. It takes a while so if you need one in the next few months hurry up. Also best to make an appointment. They were pretty slammed when I was there. What would take about two minutes was too much for them. They said that they don't measure unless you're buying from them. Very, very disappointed. Had ordered a tux in the past that needed significant refitting and they did a great job. Ordered four shirts this time and they arrived way too tight and small. Because my family and I we're temporarily in another state to be safer from COVID, I wasn't able to open the package until six weeks after the shirts arrived. Indochino refused to alter the shirts to make them fit because I hadn't communicated with them within 10 days. They denied the request even when I explained that circumstances and I suggested they should be more flexible given the pandemic conditions. Just avoiding having to redo the shirts. It's a shame. Based on my size, I can't buy off-the-rack suits easily. I wanted a sage green suit, and struggled to find a place to get one. I had a great experience working with Tyler to be measured for and design a two-piece suit, and had a seamless experience coming back in for slight adjustments on the final product. He was very knowledgable and helpful. Couldn't be happier, and look forward to coming back here again. Only downside: FYI, it is not possible to see samples of fabrics that they do not have in store and it is not possible to try on sample jackets of different colors. Also, heads up that if you are trying to park around this location, it's very difficult. read more

Staff was attentive in the store, I appreciate the care taken in measurement and adjustment. After my first measurement, I was a little worried when I tried the suit on, it was boxy and didn't fit right. When I went in for the adjustment appointment, I felt a little better because they made it clear that it would be fixed until it fit, or they would redo it. After they made the adjustments, I was happy with the suit. Service was efficient, I never had to wait long for my appointment. I never felt rushed, and they made sure that I was happy with the outcome. I was pleased when the person (I forget his name) wasn't sure how an adjustment was going to be made with my father's suit and brought the tailor out for a consult. I always appreciate the honesty in someone telling me the limits of their abilities. Other than that, I wish that they sold some thinner ties. read more

My fiancé and I came here to order his wedding tux having heard good things. Came to this store 3 times and were greeted by 3 different EXTREMELY uninterested employees. On top of it, they all gave inconsistent timelines on when to order the tux. The last time we came for a consultation, the employee was on his phone half the time. He would not volunteer any input even though we both made it clear we are new to this process and had to be prompted constantly. When asked if I could take a photo of his notes at the end so we could review our selections, the response was it will be emailed to us (and it never was). Indochino, hire employees who actually want to be there and enjoy their job, especially if they are there to help someone for their wedding day. Needless to say, we felt unwelcome, mistreated, and absolutely disgusted with the store after the third time and went with a local custom tailor instead who was vastly more professional for the same price. read more

My husband needed a suit so we went to Indochino. We were ignored when we walked in and walked around, so that was their first mistake. When a potential customer comes in to a business, the first thing to do is to warmly greet them. We were there and ready to spend money, but we were turned away because we didn't have an appointment. That was their second mistake, because we went to another men's suit store, were warmly greeted and quickly taken care of and we spent $1,000 on a suit, shirt, and tie. This was business that Indochimo could have had. Does any business make so much money that they can afford to turn away customers? I came in on a Saturday hoping to get fitted for a custom suit..as a woman who usually wears men clothes, I am very particular about the fit, I go inside and wait for about 3-5 mins before I am even greeted, mine you, both associates look at me and then continue on their computer without saying a word. Seconds later a male walks in and the associates drop everything they are doing and ask him if he will like some assistance or to make an appointment. I had to actually interrupt and say I was there well before the man and an associate had the nerve to say that she thought we were together, how... I had a very positive experience with Victoria Brown, she was extremely patient with my many ignorant questions and took a fair amount of time with me, despite my upfront statement that I was not going to purchase anything that day (my weight tends to fluctuate a lot and I didn't want to purchase a suit during a skinny phase only to have it 'fat guy in a little suit' once I inevitably gained weight.) In reading the other reviewers' opinions, I agree that her affect can be flat, however in my opinion the amount of time she spent with me and the guidance she offered me was quite valuable. Needed a suit for an upcoming wedding since I only own one and it doesn't really fit all that well. Was pretty much dead set on buying when I entered the store. Then I met Victoria. I'm pretty sure that was her name. She didn't introduce herself, but I was able to read it off of the necklace she wore. There was something about the way she greeted me that I knew my quest for a suit was doomed. I didn't have an appointment. A customer already in the store was kind enough to give me his. Maybe he sensed something about Victoria as well. Every question I asked her was answered in a flat, uninterested tone that is familiar if you've ever tried to pick a girl up at a bar who had no interest in even getting a free drink out of it. I wasn't at a bar though. I tried to be polite and lighten the mood but it seemed to only bring out even more thinly veiled bitterness. The process of customizing a suit at Indochino doesn't take more than 20 minutes. But by the time we went through all the questions I was exhausted and annoyed. I need a suit. I walked in with no appointment initially but with my credit card ready to swipe. I was an easy mark for any sales person with an ounce of people skills. Impressively, Victoria made me a do a 180 within five minutes of interacting. I'll never forget the look on her face after we finished the whole customization -- measurements, lapel notches, lining, buttons, pockets, and on and on -- and she told me the total price expecting me to reach for my wallet, and I told her, "Oh, you said I have 48 hours to think about it. I need that time. I wasn't planning on buying today." A photo of that exact moment would do more to make people reading this understand Victoria's attitude than any amount of words ever could. I am very unhappy with my experience here, I was referred through word of mouth. The sales person was extremely pushy overall, especially the shirt which I ended up not buying but had intended to purchase (I came for a suit, why can't I do the suit first then talk shirt). The suit does not fit well at all. Is fans in the front, crinkles in weird spots and is not comfortable at all. I literally prefer my one suit off the rack for both looks at comfort. The fabric is extremely lint gathering and has to be brushed every wear. Would not go back or recommend. read more

Last Summer, I ordered my first suit from Indochino. I was so impressed with the first one, that I ordered three more immediately, and then another one in October. Each came in as expected, and fit well enough that no alterations were needed. The cost was comparable to a lower-end, off-the-rack suit plus alterations, but the product is a semi-custom suit made to my measurements. In March, the suit I got in October began to lose the inside button on the pants. I brought it to the store and they were able to fix that button (and reinforce the other one) in a matter of 5 minutes at no charge. It's easy to earn a great rating when everything is going well, but it's how a business deals with minor problems that sets them apart for me. Indochino handled my minor issue perfectly, and I'll definitely be back when I need another suit. read more

We had a tight turn around (4 weeks) and they made it happen. We ended up canceling our wedding due to COVID and then decided to take the suit back for a few alternations once they opened back up and it couldn't be easier. As promised, here's the update: So I was told the jacket would be back within the week, even though I expected it to take 2+ weeks again. Sadly, it was the latter. And to make matters worse, the original bubble is back. The Indochino representative that assisted didn't seem to understand what the original issue was and was frankly surprised that the note from the tailor said "put back shoulder pad." So, there may have been a lack of communication between the showroom and the tailor. In any case, with all the back and forth, I didn't want to risk sending it back to the tailor or even having it remade though I'm sure they would have done so considering the rep clearly agreed there was still an issue. I opted to simply take the jacket and be done with it. I may take it to my own tailor to have it addressed. Having to wait 4 weeks for another jacket plus 2-3 weeks to have it fitted isn't worth my time, effort, or money unfortunately. I do appreciate that Chris B from Indochino did reach out though and do appreciate that Indochino doesn't seem to have a problem with remakes. So in the end, if you have the time and patience, they will likely eventually get your suit right. For me, it was 1 for 2. read more

Reviews here seem to be fairly polarizing. Honestly, with custom/bespoke clothing, it's almost expected. I own a number of custom suits and over two dozen shirts, across 6 different online and live tailors. I was AMAZED by my experience with Indochino, I knew it could only go two ways, but at the very least, I could get my money back if I wasn't satisfied, which is key. After deciding to have a suit made with Indochino, I went all in with the 5 for 300 shirt deal. Suit jackets, in my opinion, are the easiest custom product to get right, the pants can be a bit challenging, because of the expectations of fit. Shirts, on the other hand, can go so many ways, so easy to get it wrong. The fitting was seamless, pretty standard, one you could do at home if you wanted. I did find one issue with my shoulders, must have been an input mistake, but I had the presence of mind to double check the measurements versus an old order with another custom shop. It was easily fixed. My advice is spend the $3 for tailors measuring tape and double check everything. The order took about 4-5 weeks, actually a bit quicker than communicated. The final product exceeded my expectation. I, at the very least, expected to need the suit altered, I don't think it's necessary. The shirts looked amazing. They do require a re-make because the cuff is tight, again, this is more a preference change than a true mistake. Overall, I am happy with the experience and would recommend to a friend. read more

Hit or miss with these guys. Generally not very good at measuring you out for your clothes. Had several occasions on different orders where I've needed to go back into the store for multiple adjustments. Typically would need no more than 2, but when it becomes 4-5, it's a pretty awful experience, especially when it's not convenient for you to get in the city. On the flip side, it's good that they're willing to do that many adjustments. Personally I gave up after adjustment 5 or so because they just weren't getting it right. Also worth mentioning the stuff comes from China, so if you need something re-made, it takes even longer. Overall, I Would recommend other places that have tailors who know what they're doing, like Enzo. read more

I think there is a lot of room for growth and improvement across all of the Indochino locations. My first visit, I was measured once, in a rush and it came back horrible. I had my suit remade about 3-4 times and my shirt remade about 4 times. It was kind of frustrating at times because I felt like the changes that were made were not what I was expecting. That being said, the changes were very small and I was being incredibly picky. I am getting married in this suit and when I pay $400 for something I expect it to be the best it possibly can. Things they can improve: initial measurements. My groomsmen mostly did theirs from home and they were more accurate than the people in the showroom. The in house tailors. There seemed to be a lot of miscommunication on the changes to be made. My pants needed to be lengthened but got shortened once. Things that are great: These people get yelled at a lot for things out of their control, and they remain patient. Even I, at one point got a little fired up. Realize that most of the work done is not on them, they can only do what you ask for. They are also very willing to accomodate timelines that are out of their 'requirements'. If you call and have your account noted, you can get your final measurements after the 10 day period they talk about. You just have to not be a jerk about it. All in all it was a good experience and I will go back for all of my suits going forward now that my measurements are finally correct. :) read more

Great idea...Custom suits. Sounds easy enough. I purchased my suit in December 2016, and got fitted at this store -- took about 45 minutes. I figured that they knew what they were doing (lesson learned--never assume anything) and that my suit would fit great when I needed to wear it. I asked them to fit it so I could be comfortable wearing it for work, so definitely didn't want something too slim. I didn't need to wear the suit until April 2017, and never tried it on when I got it. Admittedly, my mistake. I emailed Indochino, and they said they would do alterations at that point, but not a re-make. My suit barely fit me. If I gained a pound, it would definitely rip....So alterations weren't going to help. I would just save your money and go buy a suit off the rack and then get it fitted with a tailor. Probably going to save you time, money and aggravation. read more

I'm going to hold off on the last star until I get the suit, but I can say the process was straightforward: Pick a fabric, customize the suit (collar to cuffs!) and get fitted at the store itself. I have a difficult body to fit to suits (heavier, with square shoulders and smaller calves) and so the fitting helped a lot with trying to fix the typical problems (for example, the collar rolling at the back. The idea of spending $500 on a made-to-measure suit was appealing, since I'm typically spending $350-400 anyway. I genuinely am looking forward to the finished product! read more

I had an amazing experience! Desiree was great - knowledgeable and patient, she took her time going through all of the options available and giving great recommendations like picking fabrics, buttons, etc. The tailoring process is really great, as well. Once your suit is ready, you come in for a fitting, additional tailoring is free. You can come in for your second fitting and if its still not right they will tailor until it is perfect. I would definitely go back there for another suit! Highly recommend. read more

This store does have potential. However, they are not currently living up to it. Initial quality of the clothing is good but on every pair of pants I have gotten from them (7 pairs) the buttons start falling off. In addition the employees in the store are never trained on the programs that they have running. My 5 year old nephew Curtis would do a more proficient job. Also, there is always some sort of issue at checkout and even with management support, can not be resolved. The business model is great. I hope that someone buys them and puts better processes in place. It would be a must shop at if that were to happen. read more

I had an absolutely awful experience here. Orderd a custom suit for my wedding in mid June. Went to the Philadelphia show room to get sized. The woman who took my measurements was very nice, but I would later find out that she absolutely had no idea what she was doing. After all the measurements were submitted, Indochino let me know it would be about 4 weeks until I received my suit. Still plenty of time before my October wedding. A week later, I get an email from the company that says they are extremely back-up and that it would take more like 6 weeks to the suit. Little bit nervous, but hey, still plenty of time. Six weeks go by without any additional communication from the company. In mid-August, I get an email saying that my suit was complete and it would be shipped from China (about 2 weeks for delivery). I recieve the suit at the end of the month. and open it up to inspect it. From the get go, I could tell there was a problem. The material for the Premium suit was very clearly not Merino wool. One of my groomsmen got the same suit from Indochino in the cheaper model and it was definitely the same exact material. I tried on the jacket and it was simultaneously too big and too short at the same time. The sleeves came to about the middle of my forearm and the coat hung off of my frame like a burlap sack. The pants were no different. I had to fold the waist band in order to keep them from sliding off of me. They bunched at the bottom and were baggy all the way through. Definitely not the sort of thing that you expect from a bespoke suit. I've had better fits with suits off of the rack. In any case, I make a follow up appointment with the showroom to show them how bad it is and find out what we can do. From the onset, the gentleman who worked with me did his best to convince me that it wasn't that bad (it was) and that we could probably just get them to take the measurements in a bit. I humored him and we remeasured. EVERY SINGLE MEASUREMENT (with the exception of the arms) was too big by 4 or more inches. 4 inches! When he remeasured the arms they were too short by nearly 8 inches. Still, he kept his good spirits and said the tailor could correct all of this. When I asked him what they would do about the arms, he seemed surprised and said that there was probably nothing they would do for them. He offered to have the suit remade. When I asked about the timing for it, he said anywhere from another 4 to 6 weeks. At this point, I asked for a refund and returned the suit. It's fair to say you get what you pay for--I probably shouldn't have expected so much from a $450 bespoke suit. But I also was not expecting it to be completely unwearable. The same day, I made an appointment with Enzo Custom. Little bit more expensive, but they turned the suit around in 2 weeks and it was absolutely perfect the first time. read more

I really didn't enjoy my experience here, I'd much rather go to SuitSupply in KOP (but they're almost twice the cost). I came to get my suit made about a month ago and arrived 15 minutes early. They didn't accept me until 30 minutes later, *shrugs* whatever, still excited at this point. Then they measure you with your clothes on and not very tightly over your clothes either (that was my first warning that they didn't know what they were doing). I asked them to measure a little bit more tightly and they scoffed saying it wouldn't make much of a difference but I insisted and they said it went down by about 0.5". If I'm paying for a custom suit, I want it to perfect, not within 0.5"! Throughout the measurements process, this process continues including me having to tell him to measure my arms down to my wrist bone, not past it, etc. etc. Anyway, measurements and photos are done and they go in the back to bring out some example clothes based on my measurements. I immediately send the pants back because they're too loose while trying to hide my judgement because I knew it would happen. Same thing for the jacket. What's the point of going in to get measured if you're not even close? Anyway, 3 weeks later I got the suit today and my jacket's still too big by about a full inch around the waist and my sleeves are longer than I hoped. All in all, the fabric quality, customizations, and cost are great. The measurements are downright terrible though unless you know what you're doing and willing to fight for it.
