Visiting Ephrata for only a short period, dog had a minor issue, I called Ephrata Veterinary Clinic and Hannah listened to be briefly explain issue, she assured me to continue the protocol we were already doing and not to worry unless conditioned worsened. I went in a few days ago hoping to get an appointment within a week. They said they were booked 6 WEEKS OUT!!!! I Cannot believe this. My cat needs emergency medical care. Plus, a few years ago, another cat was deathly ill. We took it to them and they turned us away. He died on the way to the vet 20+ miles away! The staff is not very kind, and the doctor does not like cats at all. He can also be very stubborn and acts like he knows everything. Ended up going to a different vet and they were wrong. They also can not do any emergencies. The only way you get good service is if you know them personally. read more

Dr. Brown is so very kind, compassionate and so very thoughtful. He has taken care of all my Persians from beginning to end. My latest visit was my saddest moment, saying goodby to my beloved kitty. This place needs a new & more recent update. I live in the Wenatchee Valley, but take the time to take my dog to this clinic, about 30 miles away. He recently had his teeth cleaned & needed a half dozen extractions. The prices here allow me to be able to afford this service for my dog. The vets in the Wenatchee area require blood testing & exams prior to a cleaning driving the procedure out of this senior's price range. I don't feel like they give you medications as standard operating procedure. They are able to supply the basics to keep their prices low. The staff is very courteous, helpful & accurate with the information they give out. I would highly recommend this office & another awesome thing about this place is it doesn't smell awful when you walk through the door. Still can't fool my dog though; he knows where he is! I feel like the procedures they perform are for the health & well being of animals & not to just make money. read more

Nothing but the best. This is true for the staff and the Dr. Very caring (understand that your pet is part of your family) patient and kind. Been taking cats and dogs here for years. I recommend this office to everyone. I tried to stay in the room when my puppy had to get shots but had to leave. They didn't make me feel like I was pathetic. No looks or heavy sighs (as you can experience elsewhere when you are inconveniencing them by having to bring someone else in to hold your animal). Just complete compassion and kindness. Dr. Brown is the best Veterinarian I have known. He is professional, caring, knowledgeable, and loves animals. To top that off, he is very reasonably priced. As far as I know, he cares for all kinds of animals, from cats and dogs to livestock. In the time my family has gone to Dr. Brown, he has seen all our cats and dogs. He has even done a house-call when it was time to put our elderly German Shepherd, Fred, to sleep. Years later, he revived my parents two German shepherd puppies when they were gravely ill with PARVO. This required over a week's stay, medications, and full-time care, and the end cost was under a grand for both dogs. When my pets see him, he is sure to explain to me what he sees in terms I can understand. He is never condescending. In fact, he is a very humble, down-to-earth kind of guy. Overall, Dr. Brown is an honest and conscientious Vet who is not looking to gouge every penny from your pocketbook-- such a rarity these days. This is why I drive nearly 2 hours for my pets to see him. If you love your pets, take them here. UPDATE: 7/14/14 I feel it's notable to mention that not only is Dr. Brown amazing, but his staff is also amazing. Everyone is so friendly and VERY knowledgeable, especially Rachel. My bull mastive BUTCH, became very ill, and when it came time to let him go,DR. brown, and staff were helpful and caring in our time of grief, of losing a family member. Dr . If i could give this place 0 stars i would. my family and i were on a road trip to Spokane and had an emergency with our older Chihuahua, there was no where for 40 minutes besides this place and knowing that, they told us no and they don't have time for us. This was a matter of life or death for our sweet family dog, and for a vet they couldn't have give two sh*t's. read more

This is a great place to take a pet. Very friendly and helpful receptionist. The veterinarian is very knowledgeable, friendly, good about answering questions, and really cares for animals. He has done really well with my two dogs when they have needed medical attention. read more

In April 2014 my Golden Retriever fell ill and rapidly was dying. I called to rush him in and have him put down. The sectaries laughed and basically stated they don't have time for him today. As scared and horrified situation I faced and my best friend of 14 and half years dying. I had to find somewhere else. I called the other veterinary clinic in town, Ken Westrope made time and rushed my dog in. His heart rate and blood pressure were dropping, Dr. Westrope gently puts him out. Animal Tracks/ Dr. Westrope retired recently and it saddens me this is the only veterinary clinic in town. Animals are people don't fit into schedules when care is urgently is needed. Every time I called the front office was rude. A veterinary clinic should show compassion and care to all people and animals. read more

Dr. Brown is a fantastic vet. He made us feel very comfortable in his office and spent all the time we needed answering any and all questions we had. He is honest, informative, caring and has an outward love for animals. He was very sweet to our puppy even though she piddled on his floor. :) the prices are very reasonable and affordable. I have tried to use this office on three different occations in emergencies and have always been told simply that they "didn't have anyone avialable" but also that "it sounds like if you can't get your animal in soon it will die". I have heard great things about them so I suppose if you have a problem you can schedule they must be good, but don't bother to call them in an emergency. read more
