My wife loves Epic Burger's loop location, so we tried this one; we were both disappointed. My wife ordered a cheeseburger and regular fries and I the meatless bratwurst and sweet potato fries for dine in. Even though it wasn't very busy the cashier seemed distracted, slow to take our order, and I had to ask him twice for a receipt. Shortly after we took our seats they brought out my wife's cheeseburger, but with the sweet potato fries instead of the regular fries she ordered. When we pointed this out to the server, she showed us the receipt and it indeed indicated that we had ordered just a single serving of the sweet potato fries with nothing about a serving of regular fries. After clarifying our order with the server, it was then a 10 minute wait for my meatless bratwurst and the regular fries for my wife (I ended up walking to the kitchen to ask for them). The bratwurst was good, but not very filling. I could have eaten another, but I wasn't prepared to spend another $8 on a bratwurst and risk another 10 minute wait (yes, the bratwursts were $8 each, and that's not counting fries or drink). Bummer ending to an otherwise pleasant evening at the mall. They have ketchup and dijon mustard on the tables- I loved that it was dijon instead of yellow mustard. The fries are delicious! Well-cooked, well-salted, and a large portion. I wouldn't come here if I was on a diet or watching my cholesterol, but considering it's a fast-casual burger restaurant, it is good! I appreciate it's presence at Old Orchard, since before it moved in, the only place I ever ate consistently at was Frontera.
