Became a 4 step process but the stay are very caring and helped me get through. Just had to redo two crowns on the opposite side only 2 months later. Again, my anxiety was handled well and I felt listened to since I metabolize novocaine quickly. My experiences have been great, but I hope I only have to come for cleanings after this.

We were given an initial quote for my husband's extensive dental work, but later they came back with an astronomical increase. When I personally called our insurance, they confirmed the work should be covered, but the office claimed they couldn't get a hold of insurance and insisted we pay out of pocket. Since then, my husband has had nothing but problems -- his crowns have repeatedly fallen out. When he went back, they blamed him, saying it was because of teeth grinding. Yet two other dentists have since said the real issue was poor prep work -- they didn't leave enough tooth for the crown to hold. Beware -- this office seems more focused on squeezing extra money from patients than providing reliable, ethical care. We would strongly recommend looking elsewhere.

Where to start....I hate dentists (Yes I said it) I have had some pretty hardcore dental treatment…read moreand care since I was 8 years old (yes I was that child). I have had horrible experiences, good experiences, and ok experiences. Needless to say over the years of experience I am like a "Wine Sommelier" of dentists. I found Ken Caryl Dental Center after doing extensive research on dentists in the area. Yes, I had fired my previous dentist (not to be named) in Lone Tree, and was on the hunt. I made a standard teeth cleaning, and dental exam appointment with Dr. Rand to test them out. Might I say it was as close to "Love At First Sight" as it can get. Dr. Rand is an amazing dentist. First off he cares, and if he doesn't he is one heck of an actor and should quit dentistry and move to Hollywood. He takes time to make sure you get what you want. I had a dental implant that was done 10 years ago. I had never put a permanent crown on it, and after gaining some trust with Dr. Rand I mentioned that I would like to start this process. As he began the process he was not comfortable with loading down my implant without an opinion of a perio. Fun fact, the perio who did my implant was still in town and he was able to get ahold of her. After an appointment with her they both gave the recommendation not to load down the current implant. Why waste $1000's of dollars for my permanent crown, and have it fail in a few years? (TOTALLY MY FAULT FOR THE FIRST FAILURE) Needless to say that's when things got complicated! I had my old implant removed (by my perio), bone graft, and new implant placed (4 months later). What does a general dentist have to do with my implant you ask? A lot actually! Due to all of this happening while I was moving halfway across the country my treatment plan needed to be coordinated and differ a little bit from the "Norm". Dr. Rand worked after hours with my perio (Who also got a killer review) on my treatment plan from start to finish. I have never seen two doctors from separate offices work, and communicate like this EVER! From pre-surgery, to surgery, to post surgery everything has worked seamlessly! Did I mention that I don't even live in Denver anymore? That's right I travel back because of the trust I had in my dentists performing this treatment. I will also continue to travel back for all of my treatments and finishing this one. About 10 days after my implant surgery, and not being in Denver I was feeling some looseness in my healing abutment and temporary crown. I called Dr. Rand explained to him over the phone of what was taking place, and he explained what the potential problems could be. Instead of having me travel back he called a dentist in the area I am at that he knew to take a look at me. I must say good dentists must know good dentists because who he sent me to was wonderful to work with (he will also be getting an amazing review). The problem was exactly what Dr. Rand had mentioned and it was taken care of. For him to personally check in on me, and ensure that everything was getting taken care of (after hours) is what I consider above and beyond. I have worked with Dr. Rand the most (hence why I have talked about him), and I am not trying to take anything away from Dr. Goral. The few times I have seen Dr. Goral (when Dr. Rand was out of the office) he has been great as well. I honestly would feel comfortable with either dentist. Enough about dentists let's talk about the office staff and the ladies in the back! You can't get a better office staff then what they have! From the ladies in the front always working to get me treatment plan estimates, scheduling, etc. They always have a smile on, and give you a warm welcome (even with a mask these days). The dental assistants and hygienists In the back are just as good. They truly listen, care, and are amazing. I might add I have never once had a bad experience in this office. I think it might be time Dr. Rand and Dr. Goral look at some good raises or bonuses for these ladies (Y'all can thank me later).

I made appointments for everyone on my family, 2 adults and 2 kids. To start, the cleaning was thorough and I much appreciated the hygienist (even though she made comments about my mouth and teeth the whole time). I have never had a cavity in my 37 years of life. I also have never flossed. Yet, I bite the inside of my mouth when I'm stressed, and suddenly, I have 3 cavities that he needs to fill. Then, the dentist asked my husband for legal guardian papers for his biological daughter. We also got multiple letters in the mail begging us to come back to maximize our dental benefits. Whether necessary or not, apparently. Not impressed with this place.

Everyone was friendly and the place was clean and organized, the hygienist was awesome! My problem…read morearose when I was told it was ok to knock out 3 fillings and the remainder of a deep cleaning in one day. After numerous Drs later I was told that had the Dr. Kutis noticed in my exam that I was an at risk patient for TMD/TMJ issues a lot of my problems would have never happened. I left my appointment with trismus that has lasted almost 2 full months, thousands of dollars trying to find help and basically felt like Dr Kutis was too busy to see me and that they wanted to get rid of me asap. It's been an agonizingly painful ordeal that has made me mentally and physically drained. The jaw spasms and pain were so unbearable I didn't know how I could go on or what to do or where to go. The main problem was my bite was off, one of the fillings Dr. Kutis had done was "high" I could feel it when I bit down, but she had gone out of town that Wednesday, I tried to wait for her return on Monday but I had to rush to another dentist on Friday to have it filed down, as she wouldn't be back in the office for almost a week. The trissmus still had not subsided and I seen her finally on Monday to which she said the filling was still high and filed it down again. Since then 11/11/25 I've seen 4 dentists, 1 ENT, 1 endosontist, 1 TMJ physical therapist, 1 TMJ specialist, 1 acupuncturist, 1 PCP and have been on muscle relaxers to control the spasms, plus dry needling done to my face and neck, I've spent over $3000.00 trying to correct this from Bite splints to therapy. My primary put me on anti depressants as I was losing my mind. This has been an absolutely awful ordeal. While I dont want to blast someone for possible negligence, I think educating is important and being careful with your patients is paramount. The length of the work almost 2hrs most people can handle, I did not know I couldn't, but I'm not a Dr. then the high filling sent my jaw into a frenzy of misalignment issues. I felt like a burden to them and pushed away. Which all I needed was help and guidance as I was scared and didn't know what was happening. That's what I care about. To this day I'm still having ear popping and muscle tightness, I'm still doing dry needling at almost 2 months out, I wish I never came here everyday. Becareful people.. I have a feeling I'll heal by the 4-6month mark hopefully! Jaw issues are no joke. I had no idea.

However, on my appointment today 11/29/25 I was greeted with hostility and disrespect by the front desk, then the person who brought me back, then the hygienist who was scheduled to clean my teeth and finally by Dr. Larson himself. I was forced to leave by him and he even layed hands on me. I am distressed and shocked by this especially since I have been a patient for a long time and Dr. Larson himself considers himself by his own words to be Christ Like. I was purposely hated on and distressed by everyone I came into contact with including Dr. Larson. Nothing about this encounter was kind, professional or Christ like.

I can't say enough good about this team! This is a First class facility! They have friendly, intelligent, articulate and engaging staff. Dr Larsen is obviously very intelligent himself, and he is thorough. The dental assistant was so kind and patient in taking x-rays. And they had lots of great, first class equipment too. The hygienist and cleaning could not have been better! Everything ran on time, despite having so many patients in the building at that hour. I'm still blown away at how reasonable the prices are. Wow! I fired my last dentist because he kept trying to tell me I needed expensive work done that I suspected did not need to be done. Dr Larsen confirmed that suspicion. I will be back to South Kipling Dental Care every six months from now on for cleaning and exams. I'm so glad to have found great dental care at such reasonable prices this close to home!
