The wait, with an appointment, is longer than if you walk in. The check-in person ask for your birthday, in an open crowded waiting room. They need a confidential process to safeguard our personal information. I wish it was more personalized care, i.e. can't contract anyone a doctor's office, before or after being seen & must call into a phone bank. Often called by same phone bank representatives trying to sign you up for more appointments, tests or procedures. You never see the doctor, office staffed w/NPs, PAs & CNAs. read more

I really like the office but a lot of the staff have bad attitudes especially the Arab girl at the front desk she wears a black scarf around her head she have the smartest mouth talks to people any kind of way. I gave them 2 stars because it literally could've been better almost every single time I come here she does this smart mouth thing and it's very annoying that she doesn't have any front desk communication skills, the doctors are ok most of them really seems to care but some of them staff need some serious training. read more

I will be leaving Epic health as will my family. We were with an amazing practice for over 20+ years in the office suite next door to Epic Health. My physician there sent me a letter stating she was moving to Epic Health. We are not high consumers of health care but over the next several months when we needed an appointment, we were given one at Epic but with our long-term doctor. On 3 separate occasions one of us arrived and were told she was "not in" or "not feeling well" or "had to leave." That was obviously fishy. 3 different patients at different times and dates. We did like the care received by the PA that was there-hence the 2stars. At 2 weeks after my appt, only one lab result was in the app. It's now been 6 weeks and my other lab results are not in the app. I called about this and I was told they are in there. I rechecked and they were not there. I'm now frustrated, so I call to speak with an office manager. Was told there isn't one I can speak to at my office location but I can walk in to talk with one. I'm not stupid. If one is there for me to drive there and walk in, which is ridiculous, then let me speak to one. The lady offered me to speak to a HCP about the labs. That would've been satisfactory as no one had called me with any results either. She said I could set a virtual appt to ask about the labs. I told her I'm not paying for a virtual appt to discuss labs that should've been in the app or someone should've called me about them. She offered to usps the lab results. I agreed. Once I get them me and my family are out. I've never dealt with such incompetence and indifference. They are nice and quick to make an appt with you and then the other shoe drops. read more

Lack of compassion and consideration for patients is insane. Why am I waiting 30+ minutes to be taken back for my appointment and others with later appointment times are called back early? Then the staff is looking at you like you're crazy for inquiring peacefully and reasonably smh. Each office I visit with this company continues a trend of being worse than the last. My husband and I attended a small clinic with a husband and wife team, both Doctors, running it. This couple was phenomenal. A few years ago, the retired and Epic health took over. Biggest human error ever made!! In the few years since, my husband has been treated there. Never has seen a doctor, only PA. Staff are nice enough but yhe system is strictly about money. They are unorganized, un responsive and slow to refill medications. To date, I have waited 6 months for a response from the office regarding my husbands medication. They set appointments without your consent and continuously call if you miss it. I have asked them not to do this and they keep insisting. I am changing my husband to a ne Dr that actually meets and takes care of yheir patients and follows up immediately when test results come in. I have had her for over a year now so I'm confident in moving him.​ read more

Employees are unprofessional and the office is a mess. This is the 4th time in a row that my appointment was bumped or canceled without me being told. They reschedule you without letting the patient know. Edited to add: just got a phone call from the third party line saying that I missed the appointment I was in for yesterday. Dr. Deena Chabaan is the best primary care doctor I have ever had. I had a lot of health issues this past 6 months and she has helped me find answers after being sick my whole life without knowing why. She is so kind and helpful and truly cares about your well being. Overall such a great environment and she is the best doctor ever! read more

BEWARE! You're taking your chances with this place the doctors and staff don't seem to have a common goal on treating their patients with respect and dignity. The medical aids are extremely ghetto, talk about patients right in front of them, yell at patients. It's like no supervision at all and they are running wild in there. This place is usually not too busy. I have been going for several years and have always had a pleasant experience. There have been times I've waited for more than I would've liked but it's normally quick enough. The staff is decently friendly and while it does seem that people are in training here, they are still knowledgeable and have always impressed me with their memory of certain details years later. Being that they are training you probably will have a change in doctor every year or two but they clearly try to do well. Its not a luxury experience but it's exactly what I'm looking for in a healthcare experience. My biggest problem is actually that when they send my prescriptions it doesnt always send through seamlessly and it can become a hassle trying to get them. read more

When calling to schedule an appointment, make sure you ask necessary questions because you will not be informed. I made an appointment for 5:40 because I get off work at 5:30 and was told there is a 10 minute grace period provided for you to get to your appointment. I thought, that's perfect, I can still make it. I got to the office at 5:50 exactly and the doors were locked. I called and was later told when you have a 5:40 appointment, you have to get there 10 minutes early, huh? So the grace period that I was told about doesnt apply to the last appointment? If that's the case, make it clear and known when you book the last appointment so someone, such as myself, doesnt waste time driving thru traffic to get to an appointment that isnt honored with the grace. I love my provider, Mary Yaldo, but the people who make the appointments are horrible. read more

They've called me nonstop for weeks for a physical. I finally make a appointment for Saturday afternoon at 12pm. I check in early online and arrived 15 minutes early. People came in after me with the same appointment time and were all seen before me. I sat in the lobby for 45 minutes while they uploaded stuff into my chart. Mind you I still have not even been weighed. At 12:30 I'm called by a nurse with a attitude. She pointer to a room and left she took no vitals or anything. I sat in this room for another. 8 minutes later a different much nicer nurse comes in takes my vitals. Then finally at 12:45. I literally waited a hour to be seen by anyone after 3 people went before me. Never again there's no point in appointments or arriving early. They don't care. I left well after 1pm also. read more

I scheduled an appointment with Dr. Tam for February 8th. I was having a terrible time with my eyes. Mind you Id already seen an Optometrist the previous week who recommended I make an appt with my primary physician. I had chosen Dr.Tam as my PCP. At the appointment I saw a P.A. Amber she seemed nice enough and thorough when she was in with me. Dr.Tam met with me briefly in the exam room. I was told she meets you personally on your visit but you will be serviced by Amber the P.A. I told dr. Tam my eyes had been itching really bad, because of the itching I was rubbing them which led to swelling and the integrity of my skin around my eyes being damaged. Dr. Tam made an assessment and told me she would prescribe a medication for it. For 4 days I tried to get this prescription filled. I contacted pharmacies all over trying to find one that had the medication. A pharmacist from Providence Hospital called me to say that they could not get the medication and to ask my doctor for an alternative. I call back and tell the person I spoke to at Epic that this pharmacy doesn't have the medication either. This the 3rd pharmacy that has said they can't get this medicine. The person at Epic says did the pharmacy recommend an alternative. Since when does a pharmacy decide what you can take if they don't have what was prescribed?? I tell the person at Epic that the pharmacy advised me that i should ask that of my doctor. At the end of all this the person at Epic says that they are escalating my situation and reaching out to Amber for alternatives. The day has ended its going on the 5th day no call back from the doctor , P.A. nobody. Looks like I'm going to have to go see an entirely different doctor to try and resolve this. I don't like how this was handled. It was sloppy and unprofessional. Several things went on not all listed here. I'm not done though, not by a long shot. This is a medical issue that they completely dropped the ball on. If every pharmacy is out of the medication and cant order it a simpleton can ascertain that the manufacturer has an issue. I am livid right now. read more
