I took the shuttle from DIA to Vail. I've used CME numerous times over the years and have always been pleased. The sign-up online is easy. The confirmation by e-mail is prompt. The check-in folks at DIA are friendly. The driver was friendly and did a great job. One complaint: When I showed at the check-in at DIA with my bags (ski stuff, heavy luggage) I was told that I had to stay with my bags. As in, you can't leave for five minutes to use the restroom. You can't run up to grab a burger at BK to go! At least one other customer was griping about the same thing. She had kids and couldn't leave the luggage to step away. I actually left my bags to head for a bite to eat. This was met with so much waving and distress from the staff that I came back to retrieve my luggage. I thought maybe they would call security and have my stuff destroyed.... So I just lugged it up to BK with me. Really? You can't say, "Hey dude, we will watch your bags for ten minutes"? So five stars becomes two....and I am booked on a competitor for tomorrow's return to Denver. read more

The ride from Vail to the Denver airport takes about 2 hours, and the CME is the most convenient way to complete this journey. They do door-to-door pick-up, and were perfectly punctual at the quoted time. If you sign up for their text alerts, they will message you when they're on the way. The shuttle buses have single rows of seats (no aisles), but I still felt comfortable enough. They do a brief bathroom break/leg stretch mid way at a rest area that has a gas station and a Starbucks. The driver was courteous, addressed passengers by name when needed (a nice personal touch!) and we arrived at the airport on time. It's not inexpensive, but I would happily use this service again. read more

Nice Mercedes 14-15? passenger van took us from eagle airport to our hotel in Vail. It was a nice and smooth trip and our driver was helpful in loading the bags. One great thing was having wifi on the van as reception was shaky on the way there. Good transportation choice. read more

Great service. They provided a shuttle for me between Aspen airport and the condo in Snowmass. I forgot to check out of the condo when I was picked up (frazzled because of the possible flight cancellation). The driver was nice enough to take back the condo keys to the condo so that I wouldn't be charged an exorbitant $250/key for having forgotten to return them. He kept checking in on me as I was in Aspen Airport to find out if I was able to make arrangements to get out of Aspen. When I realized that my flight from Aspen to Denver was cancelled due to weather, they added an extra shuttle to get a few more people to Denver. I was one of the lucky and persistent few to get a spot on the shuttle. There was a stop-over in Vail, where we switched buses. The second bus was newer, larger, and much more comfortable than the bus from Aspen to Vail. They got us to DIA from Aspen in about 5 hours, including the bad weather we hit in Vail. Great experience getting to Breckenridge from Denver. Paul was a very personable and knowledgeable driver. He pointed out things of interest along the way. A stop was offered about 1/2 way to allow people to use the restroom or grab a drink. My complaints are that they don't run shuttles often enough in the summer. I had to wait 1.5 hours after my flight and then we left 15 minutes late. They crammed 9 people into the shuttle which was one too many. I felt cramped. I would take them again if needed. The cost was $64 one way. read more

I arrived into DEN and easily found the CME counter (downstairs by Hertz Car Rental). Was greeted with a smile. Told them I had a reservation, which I had booked two hours ago that morning before I hopped on the flight. I checked in. Hung out for 20ish minutes waiting for my shuttle. The baggage porter helped with the bags. As soon as I sat down, I heard my name over the radio- they wanted to move me into a different shuttle. Not a big deal. Turns out, the move to the other shuttle was the best thing ever! I had a great driver. Free wi-fi. And 1.5 hours later, I was in Breckenridge and on the slopes for night snowboarding by 4 pm! Could not have asked for a better ride! read more

The shuttle service was easy to find at the Denver International Airport. Book-in was quick and straightforward. I felt safe in the van and the driver seemed knowledgeable about the terrain. Unfortunately, the wifi was broken in the car so that was too bad. The van was reasonably comfortable, but they fit too many people inside. I thought the cost for their service was OK. The CME pricing was good compared to other shuttles. They were easy to find in DIA. The staff were helpful & friendly both at the airport & on the phone. The van was large but pretty basic. I wouldn't say it was extra conformable & due to its size, heat did not circulate well. It was pretty cold even though someone asked the heat to be turned up, it was not that noticeable & temps outside were in the negatives. We had to wait a bit at the airport to be cleared to leave too. But otherwise it was an easy service & I got from point A to point B in the dark in the snow, so thank you! read more

Landed in Eagle on a Monday afternoon with no plan on how I'd get to vail village. I immediately jumped on one of their shared shuttle with only one other person and the whole trip took less than an hour to my hotel. Brilliant. I booked for the return trip on a Thursday afternoon and unfortunately was the first of 5 pickups - 8 ppl total. Was still roomy in the van and trip back to EGE took about 1 hour and 45 minutes. Excellent service and convenient! I had booked my shuttle ride from Denver International Airport to Breckenridge about a month or so before my trip. I was able to find their booth at the airport and their staff took our luggage to the door and then to our respective vans. It was an absolutely mess in terms of the weather that day with a snow storm, icy roads heading up the mountain, and a bunch of jack-knifed tractor trailors, but our driver got us there safely (albeit 3 hours later than expected). He did stop at an additional rest stop for us instead of just the one due to the delay. Our return trip was no less exceptional. They were on time at exactly 5am, which is good because our flight was at 9:25am, and were friendly and professional. The wi-fi on board is a bonus, but don't expect too much; you are still in a van. It worked pretty well though. I definitely intend on using them every time I go to Breckenridge (which will be every year). read more

Milk Run The variable stars probably related to which end of the milk run is your destination. Vans now seat 12 and they try not to let them leave airport until full. On last two EGE to Park Hyatt runs, have taken well over an hour, 20 minutes sitting at EGE, 35 minutes to beaver creek, and over 30 minutes touring all the possible stops between Eagle and BK in Edwards and avon. If you are coming in after 12 dont expect to ski much on your first day if you are at the end of the line for CME. Eagle caters to the private jet and more dollars than sense crowd, Uber and Lyft banned, taxi service spotty, and CME has no competition. Maybe they will wake up when skier numbers drop. Or maybe numbers will never drop. read more

CME rocks! I was hesitant to use a shuttle service from the Denver airport to Beaver Creek as we had always rented a car and driven in the past. I was afraid it would be a crowded, cramped, and uncomfortable ride. The rates also sounded a little pricy. I couldn't have been more wrong. The shuttle was on time, both coming and going, the large van had plenty of room, even at capacity, and there was free wifi!! The drivers were super polite, helpful and professional. Plus, it was way less expensive than renting a car. I will NEVER brave the roads to the slope again! No need to rent a car in Vail Valley either. There are shuttles running every 10 to 15 minutes to take you wherever you want to go. read more

They offer discounts for parties of 3 and up, so search for those on their website. Our van was comfortable, clean and quiet. CME provided the best customer service I have ever had. I called and asked if I could reserve the front seat of my airport shuttle due to a tendency for motion sickness, and the agent I spoke with on the phone (Arthur) could not have possibly been any nicer. He took care of my request right away and ensured that I would be accommodated on my return trip as well. He told me it was an "honor" to have been able to help me! UPDATED from one to three stars, and edited added to original post. First: there is a $4 clean comfortable public bus between the airport and downtown Vail every hour at least in winter. Depending on when you arrive and how many drops the shuttle has before your hotel, the bus may be faster. It drops above the covered bridge next to several hotels and there is a free bus to all the others that runs every five minutes or so. Also with CME you will wait around 30 minutes from after you get off plane before the CME shuttle leaves. The public bus is v prompt. Of course, you have to lug your luggage on and off the bus, whereas CME will help you load it into the back of their vans. Second: CME can initially be v unforgiving. We had our return plane flights moved four times on our date of departure. CME accommodated us moving us onto later departures, but when the airline then brought our departure forward CME and CME could not seat us on any service that would get us to the airport on time, they initially would not refund us anything. We spoke to their office on the phone and a supervisor there, a local at our hotel who was affronted by our story called in for us, and we spoke to someone at the airport, all to no avail. However, possibly because of this post, we did get a gracious call from CME and they promised to refund us for the full amount of the cancelled trip. read more

Terrible ride. Van was SUPER uncomfortable and super bumpy the whole way. Absolutely no room...packed in like sardines. No WiFi which is crap especially when they advertise that they have it. Van was not nice at all. I would NEVER recommend this service. Try PEAK EXPRESS instead. Way nicer, so much more comfortable, and they have WiFi. read more

My guests flight was delayed. He called right when he found out at 1:30pm. I spoke with someone to switch the pick up and have not received any notice that it was changed so here I am over two hours since the original call on hold and on the live chat with no response for over 15 minutes. Finally got through and the first agent told me that my guests would have to wait for 1.5 hours for a shuttle. My guest is in flight now and has no idea that a shuttle will be waiting for him when he lands. We will recommend Peak One to our guests in the future. read more

Considering this and the bus are really your only two options for airport transportation to Vail/Avon/Breck area, you're kind of SOL. I traveled to Denver International for a flight to Heathrow on May 19 for my flight at 3:30pm. I was told I would be picked up around 9:42am. OK, Great. No Problem. I call a week before my pick-up to confirm my location because my location is "Lionshead Bus Stop". I am confused because there is the Vail Transportation Center bus stop and the Vail Village bus stop. The person on the phone tries to tell me where she *thinks* it is (why doesn't she know?), and then tells me "Yeah, it looks like it's in front of the parking structure." "Okay, great. So the bus stop where the Avon bus stops and Vail Transportation Bus stop is." "Yes." I was not feeling confident in her answer. So, I call back Day-of departure. I arrive at 9am instead of 9:42 because I'm nervous and last thing I want is to miss my international flight $$$$! Same thing. The person on the phone says "Um, yeah that looks like the right place. The bus driver will call you if you are late and they can't find you." Um OK. Then, I call back again. Yes, because it's 9:40 and there is no bus driver! I get told again yeah wait, they should be there shortly. Then, I get a phone call from dispatch. "Hi, umm, your bus driver is looking for you." "Yes, I am at the bus stop." "Um, where?" "The Transportation Center Bus Stop." "Oh, yeah well we can't actually pick up there. So, head down the stairs to the Lionshead VIllage bus stop and I'll let the bus driver know you will be there in five minutes." "O.K" *Haul Ass* Bus Driver: "YOU"RE LATE! HURRY UP!" Me: "uhhhh..." He opens the driver door. Tells me to get in. I stand there. I have 2 large luggage items that need to go to the back. I have to ask him to take my luggage. He lets out a sigh and takes them. He was extremely rude! Little does he know I confirmed the pick-up spot 3 times! So, he thinks it's my fault and is unacceptably rude to me. Then, when we get to the rest stop he tells everyone, "Hey, we are running ahead of schedule so we will take a 15-20 minute break here." Wow, after all that. Of course they set aside extra time for these sort of incidences. The driver had absolutely no right to talk to me in such a demeaning manner. Beyond disappointed in how this company is run. If you are looking for alternatives, you can use the bus. You can take a train from the Airport to the Union Station and a bus from the Union Station to Vail. It is about an hour of travel time longer, but also more than half the price. I've only had good experiences and have been greeted sincerely. The buses are clean, include Wi-Fi, and chargers. Truly a disaster DO NOT use.my teenager was scheduled to get on a shuttle after a ling trip at 8:00pm. He followed instructions and checked in when he got there arrived at the door 5 minutes early and no shuttle. They guaranteed upon reserving that they would contact him if there were any issues and also had my number. He stood there exhausted with all his luggage, no call or text. After talking ti the main office, another passenger scheduled later arrived early and the driver gave him his seat and took off early. They had the nerve to offer a 20% discount for a late night shuttle. Can not even believe the poor quality of service. We ended up hiring a private driver. More money, but not worth dealing with them. EPIC fail. read more

I've taken CME several times over the last few years, but I have to say today may force me to find a new shuttle company. Several other guest waiting with us for pickup this morning were supposed to be on a 645 shuttle from Breck to DIA. Their reservations just got "lost" and their shuttle never showed up. As a result, everyone else's reservations were shuffled and our shuttle arrived close to 40 minutes late. The driver who arrived in the interim to pick up another party seemed unconcerned about anyone else's shuttle times, and just ignored or brushed off any questions from waiting guests. Needless to say I hope Andrew doesn't stay long. Once our shuttle did arrive, the shuttle radio repeatedly went off describing guests who had been left behind at other resorts who the company seemed unable to get a driver to for close to an hour. Previous experiences with CME have been excellent, but today has made me extremely wary of booking travel with them ever again. read more

I have been to Beaver Creek multiple time and usually rent a car and drive. The car is expensive and sits for the week I'm skiing. This time I decided to take the Colorado Mountian Express. The drive was comfortable and complete stress free. The driver was helpful and courteous. I would defiantly do it again. read more

At eagle vail airport, the staff are complete liars. I booked the last seats on their shuttle because the guy at the desk said it was going straight to vail. Twenty minutes into the ride the driver tells me they are stopping in Beaver Creek. I get that it's a shared ride but they shouldn't lie to people. read more

We chose to take a van from Denver airport to Breckenridge. I was a bit skeptical, however, was pleasantly surprised. John picked us up, made sure everyone was comfortable (and safely bucked up). We only had three very quick stops (I was afraid they would take forever). John was very friendly, and a careful driver. For my nieces wedding, we had a few vans to take family and friends to 10 mile station. Deb was first to take the four groups to this location (bridal party ran late, Deb was extremely calm and patient. We had a great conversation while waiting. After delivering the four 'main' groups, she alerted the other drivers that those attending the wedding were ready to be taken up the mountain. I apologize for not remembering their names, however everyone was kind, patient, and great drivers. Epic van service helped with not only transportation but allowed the bridal party to not worry about anyone driving or getting lost. We all really appreciated the professionalism displayed by the drivers and the company. Thank you again. read more

If I could give this company zero stars I would after a serious accident on the slopes which resulted in my shattering both shoulders and requiring two surgeries I found myself in double slings in order to book a private limo for the ride to the airport because of my condition we requested a refund of our return on epic Mountain express and they would not do it even under these circumstances to me that is unacceptable we are in the middle middle of a blizzard and more people need to go to the airport then they have trucks and theyStill wouldn't refund our money likely because they hoped to double book it I would never use them again and I hope other people find an alternative read more

I want to say that my initial experience with this company was not the best. I was given misinformation on a phone call about the availability of a shuttle. When I went back to book, the shuttle was no longer available. At first, I was told there was nothing they could do when I called to inquire. However, I escalated this to one of the supervisors (Anthony). He pulled my recorded call with my sales rep from the week prior and agreed I was given misinformation. He took the time to move some things around and correct the issue and got me on a shuttle as I was promised. I understand that businesses can make mistakes and I never fault them for that if they can turn around and provide 5 star service recovery. That makes all the difference when choosing a company to do business with. read more
