Been shopping at Colorado Ski and Golf Aurora for years. My wife raced to this location after the Aurora store closed early to get my son some snowboard boots and winter gear as a favor to me (not her area of expertise) . When she got there 15 minutes before closing, she was not surprisingly the only one there, but instead of anyone helping her, she was left to wander the store and try to figure things out on her own. She said she got the impression they wanted to close and her out of there, which would have been accomplished that much sooner if someone had taken the time to give her some direction. Considering the thousands of dollars I've dumped at this franchise over the years, I found this beyond annoying. Nothing but kudos to the staff at the Aurora store that has always exceeded expectations. Too bad this store hasn't figured out the same formula when it comes to customer service. read more

I want to give a shout out to Colin in the snowboard department for exceptional customer service. I originally purchased a new pair of boots at another of their locations and after having some initial problems, as much as they wanted to help, they appeared to lack the knowledge and experience and sent me to the park meadows location. Colin explained to me all the options I had to adjust my boots (which the other store failed to mention...) and was very patient and knowledgeable. He performed the adjustments and called me to let me know they were ready (on time), and gave me plenty of attention to make sure I was happy in the end. The entire team here is incredibly helpful each time we are in here. In the ski shop, though, Kevin is amazing! When my wife and I were in to get skis he was as professional and friendly as they come. More than that, it was immediately clear to us both that he genuinely cares about his customers and their skiing experience. There was no sales pitch, no pressure, just a lot of help trying all different options to make sure we made the best decision. Fast forward about a month later to tonight, New Years Eve, my wife needed her boots adjusted and custom footbeds made. Because it was crazily busy and my wife was arriving from work, it was the end of the night and 5 minutes until close by the time we were able to be helped. Instead of scheduling an appointment for next week, both Kevin and Soren stayed almost an hour later than they should have - on New Years Eve - to custom make her footbeds and adjust her boots because they found out we were going skiing the following day and they wanted her to be comfortable. Been coming here for years, spent thousands of dollars. Had the worst experience today. Brought my daughter in for the Junior Trade in program. Vail, the girl that tried to help us was worthless. Her lack of effort to get my daughter newer, bigger gear was some of the worst service we've ever had. First came the boots, she brought out a pair, according to her the ONLY pair that would fit, which didn't. We asked for a bigger size but she refused and decided to call other stores for a different style boot in the same size. Low and behold another gentlemen went to the back and found us a perfect pair of boots in about 30 seconds. Next came the skis, she held the original set up to my daughter to measure which are 2" below my daughters chin and said they would work fine. We refused so she brought out some taller skis. These were absolute garbage and so beat up Im betting Play it Again Sports wouldn't buy them. Again, she stated it was they had. Low and behold, another gentleman, different from the other came out with not just one pair, but two pairs of nice skis that my daughter could choose from. Great service from the two gentlemen, piss poor from the girl named Vail. read more

They sell skis with a performance guarantee so if you dont like your new skis for any reason then you can bring them back and exchange them one time. I bought my first pair from the Littleton store, the sales kid there assured me that the Volkl Mantra 177 would be perfect for me even tho I was coming from Salomon Storms 162. Well after one day at Abasin trying to kill myself I decided they were too long and so wanted to source the correct size and at least discuss some alternatives. I checked around and this location had the 170 version of Mantra in stock so I stopped by to see about exchanging them. After chatting with the sales guy, Soren suggested the Kendo would not be as hardcore as the Mantra and that they had the right size in stock so I filled out all the paperwork to have my bindings switched out to these new skis and planned on picking up a couple of days later. A few hours later, a buddy was at the Littleton location as he knows a guy there and was telling him what I had done and he suggested straight away that I stop my order and not get the Kendos either! So it was back down to Park Meadows and when I went to the back to try and retrieve my skis, I guess theyve never had anyone drop skis off to be worked on then all of a sudden try and get them back because it was a right mess! A sales associate eventually found my skis and I waited to speak to their 'expert' Kevin. When he walked past I let him know that I was waiting on him as he was helping another customer and he suggested I request Soren because he was going to be a while, I told him Soren was the guy who had initially helped me and straight away he blew me off saying that if I have already worked with him then I need to continue to do so. At that point I took my skis up to the front counter and asked them to reverse the new skis so that I could go back over to the Littleton store. It took a while for them to figure all that out and I got a bit of an attitude off the lady helping me but I just wanted to get the hell outta there. I'd already had some kid steer me wrong with my first purchase ultimately resulting in me wasting my Performance Guarantee right off the bat so I didn't want to screw up again. Luckily before leaving the store I realized that they still had my ski boot so back again to the counter in the back and again it was like pulling teeth, even with my claim ticket. I did have a positive experience the 2nd time around at the Littleton store and that review is pending.... read more

I had no choice but to use them since it was a powder day. I brought them back to see if I could pay a fee to return them, and they exchanged my very banged up poles free of charge. Went into store on July 29, 2016 to purchase a dozen golf balls. Noticed a rack containing the balls I wanted and a sign stating 40% off. There were two stickers on the package one for $30.00 and another for $19.99. Given that every golf store in the area (Golfsmith, Golf Galaxy and PGA Superstore) all sell these balls for $19.99 per dozen I assumed the discount would apply to this price. At check out I was informed the discount applied to the higher price reducing the cost to $18.00 per dozen. Given that this price was higher than my pro shop charges I only purchased one dozen - I needed some balls desperately. I was actually going to by 4 dozen at the discounted price. I talked to the store manager who said words to the effect "that's the way it is". I informed her I would vote with my feet and not patronize her store again. I don't like bait and switch. read more

We've had nothing but positive experiences at Colorado Ski & Sport - Park Meadows, and not surprised that we had another great experience with their services. We're a family of 4 and getting ready for the upcoming 2016-2017 season. My 2 boys were ready to trade back in the their snowboards that they purchased used last season thru Colorado Ski & Sport - Park Meadows for some new / used gear for this upcoming season. We came in during Ski Rex when it was a mad house and very hectic, and chaotic. Your store's method of checking in customers into que and then notifying them via text to let them know they're next to be assisted was a great and fair way to keep order and line when there's several customers waiting. When our number was finally called we were greeted and assisted by Manager? Asst. Manager? His name was Doug (short gentlemen w/ eye glasses). He had a feel for what my boys were wanting and he took the time to get them into new / used boards and made a great suggestion on some new Burton Small Bindings. He was very knowledgeable and provided excellent service. Fast forward a week later, we came back into the store, this time to drop off our boards to be waxed and sharpened. Once again we were greeted and assisted by Doug. He was again very patient and took the time to answer my questions and assisted us with the paperwork for the servicing of our boards. Fast forward a week later (9/24/16) my boys and I came to pick up our boards, and once again we were greeted and assisted by Doug. This time we brought in the new Bindings we bought per his recommendation, and the pair of Bindings I bought from another vendor and needed them mounted to our boards. Doug was very accommodating and introduced us to your Snow Board specialists: Dominic and Bradley. Both were very helpful and thorough in obtaining information about our riding styles so they could mount the bindings accordingly. Both took the time to take our measurements and mounted our bindings to our boards. In this day and age we often hear more about the negative feedback and complaints and we hardly hear about the positive feedback. Your staff is great, and always courteous and smiling. They have good staff and they have never given me any issues when I need to return something or have my equipment adjusted. I bought my boots here last season and they have been great. I brought them in 3 times to have them refitted and they were always returned in a timely manner. The only thing I don't do here is tune my skis. There is usually a very long wait especially in peak or early season. read more

Once again, Epic took care of an issue quickly and efficiently. I had some lightly used (10 days use) Spyder ski pants, and the vent zipper broke. Even though I had purchased the pants 20 months ago and didn't have the receipt, I brought them back. I wasn't sure what to expect. Geoff was the manager on premises, and he couldn't have been more professional or helpful. Together we looked up the purchase in their system. He found it, and offered to replace the pants on the spot, or send them back to Spyder for repairs. Above and beyond! It's examples like this that cause my family to buy all of our ski gear at Epic. I shop at this store every time I am in town and always find that the service and selection of outdoor and ski equipment is the best in the city! I'm always greeted promptly when I walk in (this is a big deal for me) and everyone there is very knowledgeable and eager to help me. I went with a pledge to replace my extremely uncomfortable ski boots that I have put up with for 5 years. Steve Young was fantastic, taking an inordinate amount of time to listen to my woes while finding the right boots for me. In the end he fitted me with K2 Pinnacle 110 boots with both a moldable shell and liner to ensure that we got as customizable as possible. The best part is that he got me In to the last remains pair of 2015s which saved me almost $300. I have learned over the years that companies rely on individuals for quality and Colorado Ski and Golf is really fortunate to have this guy. Brought in two snowboards for a Pro Tune on a Tuesday. Was told they'd be available by Thursday, but to be safe they said Friday. Paid $70. On Thursday I got a call to say it would be at least Saturday before they were available. I was leaving for the mountains first thing Sat, so that wouldn't work. On the phone they said for the inconvenience they attach two free tune coupons to the snowboards. When I went to pick up the snowboards on Thursday the guy was pretty rude thinking I was trying to pick up my boards a day early. Eventually he finally got it (I think) that is was their pathetic customer service that was making me pick up my boards with no service being performed. I asked about the coupons and he said ask at the front desk. So I asked at the front desk for the coupons and they said check with the service dept. I'd wasted enough time in this shop, so just walked out as I doubt the free coupons would be worth the paper they were printed on. Will take my business elsewhere going forward read more

I went in Sunday afternoon to pick up a new snowboard, boots, and bindings. I recommend working with Jared. He knows his products and was able to get me a setup that fit my budget and skill level. My only complaint was that the store was really busy and he was the only one available to help. While the service was worth the wait, it would have been nice to get out in under an hour. The prices were competitive and by that I mean slightly higher than some online retailers but still worth it to get Jared's expertise and try things out in-person before buying. I think this place wins the all time record for eye rolls and ignoring people. Needed bindings for my kids snow board so, as nobody was there to greet us, we wandered over to the snowboard area where two stoned teenagers instructed us that "we were in the wrong place and needed a different kind of binding sold in the youth area". They looked down and away so we wandered off to what looked like the youth section. Waited and waited. Asked for help, got the eye roll. They didn't have the bindings the guys up front said they did. Took us to the front of the store where they called another store who did have them. They would reserve them for us. Went to the store in Littleton where they hadn't called but luckily they had them.
