Kevin in the ski boot department should be fired for being an overly arrogant and uneducated loser that has literally, single handedly ruined my ski season. He claims he knows what he is doing but clearly doesn't and I seek a solution to the nightmare he has created for me, I now know it is a common thread in the community that this guy is a total narcissist. Don't waste you're time at any of the Colorado Ski and Sport locations because it was Roger and Jeremy at the Aurora location that also hosed me 3 times before I went to go see Kevin at Park Meadows. If you have to do business with this company for some horrible reason, at least go to Vail Village and see a true knowledgeable expert, Blake. I was an open check book just looking for a top of the line boot and was even willing to pay the $200 for custom insoles to "help make the boot fit" but Kevin just kept molding, shaving, and punching out the entirely wrong section of my boot. in Vail, Blake was able to show exactly how far off this bum Kevin was and how he had turned a $650 pair of boots into swiss cheese. Buyer beware, the management tried to jam me up and tell me I could get in store credit even without a competent team and without a viable solution to my problem until I made several phone calls to corporate to get a full and complete refund. I hate Vail Corporation and the losers like Roger, Jeremy and Kevin that they employ. Still purchased 3 pairs of skis and 3 sets of bindings and had to swap out two of those as well since I found out that they were just trying to jam old outdated stock on me since it had been several years prior that I had bought new gear and wasn't up to date on what was hot and new, talk about feeling like a lollipop/sucker. read more

I wanted to share a very positive experience I had at the Park Meadows store last night. I've been a long time customer of Colorado Ski & Sport and have purchased multiple ski packages and accessories over the years. The expertise and service have always been terrific and last night I experienced true differentiated service that will keep me a satisfied customer and supporter! I had a defective 6 ski rack from a manufacturer that Colorado Ski & Sport happens to carry. I received it as a gift last year from an out of town relative so the item wasn't purchased at the store. The manufacturer's policy is for the customer to submit warranty or repairs through a dealer - thus Colorado Ski & Sport. I went to the store and Amy, an assistant manager, and Dave, the rack expert were terrific in helping me get sorted out. Not only did they confirm the defective rack, they gave me the identical new rack from store stock to install on my truck! Normally, a store will send in an item on behalf of a customer and keep the client waiting for a resolution. Amy and Dave made my day. No waiting, no hassle, and a working new rack so that we can continue skiing and transporting our gear safely. They certainly didn't need to do that. I am thoroughly impressed, & satisfied with my purchase and the excellent service I received with Ian at Colorado Ski & Golf. I worked with Ian at the park meadows location. I had previously visited other locations, sales people and dealt with other store chains but was constantly disappointed in the general knowledge, experience and sales pitches I had received. I conduct extensive research when I make purchases like these and although I usually know just about everything before I enter the store I still appreciate when the sale person knows more and is truly an expert to help confirm any lingering doubts or answer any possible questions. Ian was very helpful, extremely knowledgeable, a real expert, and made me feel confident with my decisions and purchase. He was friendly, educated me with information I wanted and that was actually useful and applicable. I ended up purchasing a set of Line "Sir Francis Bacons" skis, Salomon QST Pro 120's with custom foot beds, and Tyrolia Attack 13 Bindings. The individual items all were priced at or below what was available online. This was a $1,600 total set up that with the current promotion they had knocked off $300 from there. This store is in Douglas County, where there is no longer a mask mandate. Vail Resorts, though, still requires masking in all its stores and restaurants, and they are militant about it. My son and I were the only customers in the store - again, in a county with NO MASK MANDATE - and we were accosted the second we walked in to put on a face covering. I live in Jeffco - where there still IS a mask mandate - and businesses there are beyond tired of it. No one actually enforces the mandate in Jeffco because it does not keep people any safer, and all it really does is harm businesses. The Jeffco Sheriff department refuses to back it up. Since we really needed to purchase snowboard gear that day, I eventually did put on my clearly fake mesh mask, my son put his mask on under has nose, and we proceeded to make our purchase without further incident. Because that's going to keep people safe. Whew. Our family will be taking our business elsewhere in the future, and we will also be VERY vocal about not supporting Vail Resorts or their subsidiaries. Seriously. Move on. I want to emphasize, that the people who work at this store were just doing what they have to do. This is all on Vail Resorts and their ridiculous policies. read more

A well deserved five star rating goes to this Ski and Golf location. Welcoming staff and wonderful music greet you, in an environment where it is obvious that service is ready and avaliable. The smart and informed staff are not pushy nor do they hover over you. I needed help buying my first helmet for skiing, despite having 20 years of the sport under my belt. A very knowledgeable employee, Dean, was in this section. He provided me with lots of information and we tried on 10+ helmets. Without Dean I almost certainly would have bought an ill fitting helmet. Once we narrowed it down to two he went on his way cleaning up the section and allowing me to decide on the helmet I wanted without the pressure of him being there. I also bought new poles here and they were priced quite well for being mid ski season. Selection is wonderful, prices are great, and the staff is happy to help. A well deserved five stars. read more

I would like to take the time to thank Kevin F.in Alpine for the outstanding customer service he provided in fitting me with proper ski boots. I have difficult feet and Kevin took the time to listen and see all the physical issues related to my feet. He was very patient and worked with me at length to help me get into the correct ski boots for my ability and feet issues. I tried on several pairs of ski boots that "I" thought would be a good fit for me. However, after all was said and done, I ended up with the ski boots that Kevin originally recommended. I also need a custom orthotics in all my footwear, including ski boots. I very much appreciated that Kevin took his time and did not rush me through the boot fitting process and the customization of the aftermarket orthotics. I tested the new boots during this last snow storm in the mountains, and the boots were awesome! read more

Wow! I have never experienced the level of customer service that I received at Colorado Ski and Golf. I was fitted for new ski boots by Keith who really knows his stuff. He asked all the right questions and then fit me with the perfect pair of boots. And then the experience got even better when we worked with Connie at the register. Super personable and customer service oriented. Even though it's a busy time of year, we never felt rushed and both individuals really listened to what we needed. I highly recommend Colorado Ski and Golf for all your skiing needs. We walked out with a new helmet, poles and boots, simply because it was such a pleasure to shop there and their prices are very reasonable. It is so rare to find even "passable" customer service these days. All as we can say is "wow" after our experience with Bowen today. How pleasant, professional, patient, technically proficient... the man was on a mssion! My wife is extremely difficult to fit in ski boots. She has been in agony for a number of seasons due to some circulatory issues. Bowen embraced the challenge and using his extensive knowledge and every tool in their arsenal... he found the perfect boots and fine-tuned them until they were a perfect fit. We left the store two hours ago and my wife is still smiling. We are hitting the slopes Monday morning. Something tells me it may be my turn to consider new boots. If she out skiis me... I want to thank the amazing staff at the Park Meadows location! They were all super helpful when our family was in a bind trying to get skis together for a last minute ski trip. We stopped in to trade in our children's skis, and Scott was super great! He got the kids boots and one set of skis together and fitted quickly. They didn't have my daughters size available, so he suggested we try the Littleton store on Wadsworth. They had her skis, but they were not as friendly or helpful as the staff at Park Meadows. We decided to take the skis back to the Park Meadows location to get them fit and set. I had the luxury of working with Scott, Charmaine, Hannah, Nicole, and Andrew at the Park Meadows store! What a fantastic place with outstanding service! Our family has been treated with such care by Judy, Pete and Amy. First by Judy in outfitting us all for the ski season, making sure we had everything we needed within our budget. Then Amy sorted out our skis and boot needs, especially for our youngest who could just fit the skis for the junior program. Then Pete made sure we received the very best deals they had on offer. Once again, Epic took care of an issue quickly and efficiently. I had some lightly used (10 days use) Spyder ski pants, and the vent zipper broke. Even though I had purchased the pants 20 months ago and didn't have the receipt, I brought them back. I wasn't sure what to expect. Geoff was the manager on premises, and he couldn't have been more professional or helpful. Together we looked up the purchase in their system. He found it, and offered to replace the pants on the spot, or send them back to Spyder for repairs. Above and beyond! It's examples like this that cause my family to buy all of our ski gear at Epic. Their prices are fair, their service is great, and they stand behind their brands and their store. What more could you ask? read more

We live in Douglas County and the Mask Police (some cashier) ask me and my family to leave for no mask; We were there to get 4 complete snowboard packages. First and Foremost, there are NO mandates in Douglas County. The Governor of Colorado has made it very clear threre are no statewide mandates. Lastly, this is a public business and thus those such businesses should be following public law. Will never shop here and on top of all this....they were very rude. Went to BC Surf Shop across the street next to Costco and got better deal with no hassles. The only thing im going to spread is the terrible experience at this store. He spent an entire afternoon fitting me with boots to be sure we found just the right fit. His knowledge of ski equipment and mountain snow conditions is invaluable! He made the experience fun and I never felt pressured. He's an awesome listener and extremely professional. There was never a time when a customer was browsing, that he didn't acknowledge the person and let them know someone would be with them as soon as possible. What a fantastic experience!! Last night, we went to CS&G to pick up board bindings for my son. One salesman pushed us from kids to adults since we had size 8 boots for him, but when we got into adult section, we dealt with Chad. I pointed out that my son had lessons at snobaun, but has not been out for real. His suggestion was to keep the bindings inexpensive, which was the Union Cadettes, but said that it had to be medium and referred me to Littleton or Aurora based on what the DB said. Turns out that Littleton did not have them, so, called back to Park Meadows and am having Jeff in Cust. Service ship in some. All in all, between Chad and Jeff, they have made a customers out of us. Again I have to recognize another employee of yours. Like I mentioned, my first experience was excellent with Bowen when I first had questions about more advanced skies and boots. Now I did return to this location and your employee Amanda had noticed that I came back in. Without hesitation she initiated conversation and had me sold on Salomon Xpro100s. She also up-sold boot inserts to keep my feet from going flat when transferring weight. Amanda made the process very smooth, friendly, and quick. Impeccable customer service. Everyone I interacted with was terrific, and this on a crazy busy day the Saturday before Christmas. Kevin in ski boots is the best ski boot fitter I've ever seen, and I've been skiing for over 40 years. He's amazing. If you are looking to purchase something where you'd like real opinions (skis, boots, etc.), this is a MUCH better option that the other big box sporting goods stores where it sometimes takes a half hour to find someone to help. I went into Colorado Ski and sports at Park Meadows and the staff could not have been more helpful. My visit was for rental skis for my 9 year old son. Alec was extremely helpful and did not rush us and was super knowledgable in relation to his job. He was extremely patient with my son who many times has Had issues with the way his boots fit. Alec took time with my son and showed a lot of patience. He was very friendly and courteous. I've seen major improvement in this store over the past couple years in their customer service. Today I visited Epic in Lone Tree to have my ski's tuned and to look at new ski boots. I ran into Bowen who helped me with this task. He was patient, informative, knowledgeable and most importantly for me- a good listener. I had no intent of purchasing new boots today, but after spending an hour with Bowen going through the brands, fit, pros/cons- I left with brand new boots- and new bindings to go with them! There was no pressure, I was taken care of and the purchase felt right. This place is amazing! I spent an entire day on the mountain being miserable and in pain wearing a pair of rental boots because the rental staff couldn't find a proper pair of ski boots for me. From the moment I walked in to Colorado Ski & Sport, Josh knew exactly the kind of boots I needed! He then spent the next hour working with me to adjust and customize them so that they fit perfectly.
