I decided to give Plumb Doc a shot despite their slightly lower rating--and I'm really glad I did. The service I received was absolutely 5-star level. Brian came out quickly and accurately diagnosed the issue: a pin-sized hole in one of the PVC pipes underground in our front yard that feeds the house. We had noticed water running down the driveway and weren't sure if it was just runoff from recent rain or a broken pipe, especially since temperatures had been below freezing. Brian confirmed it was a leak by shutting off the water to the house and checking the meter--we were still using water. From there, Brian walked me through multiple options, ranging from a full pipe replacement to a targeted repair. I was dealing with family health issues at the time and needed the fastest, least disruptive solution so I could focus on being at the hospital. Brian really stepped up. He suggested bringing in a leak-detection specialist using sonar equipment to pinpoint the exact location. It added a few hundred dollars upfront but would save time, money, and yard damage in the long run. We went with that option, and it worked exactly as promised. That evening, a gas technician came out to mark the gas lines, the leak-detection team arrived the next morning, and Brian dug a very small area and replaced the damaged pipe on day two. He even worked past dark to finish the job. Plumb Doc handled everything--all scheduling, coordination, and follow-through. Brian personally made sure every vendor piece was handled correctly. A few days later, after the clay had settled, Brian came back to fill in the hole--even though we had already paid. He even offered to buy a bag of mulch to cover the area, which we declined since we planned to re-mulch anyway. The leak is fully fixed, no more water loss, and the price was completely reasonable. Throughout the process, Brian kept me informed via text, sent photos, and made sure I always knew what was happening. Beyond the technical skill, he's just a genuinely good guy--someone you'd grab a beer with. Too often, you talk to a company owner and then get sent a low-quality crew. That did not happen here. I called Plumbing Express to investigate and resolve a water leak in my kitchen ceiling. The leak was directly below my master bathroom toilet, which my sister and I had already narrowed down by tapping on the kitchen ceiling downstairs while listening upstairs, where the sound was clearly strongest near the master bathroom toilet. The technician briefly inspected both bathrooms but focused on my sister's bathroom on the opposite side of the house after noticing a damp sponge under the toilet tank. My sister explained the sponge was there because she sprays and cleans the toilet regularly, not because of a leak. The plumber then cut open the kitchen ceiling drywall, stated the leak was coming from the water supply line from my sister's toilet, and performed a complete toilet tank rebuild for $450. After the repair, he gave me a card for a company that performs restorations and recommended I call them to inspect for subfloor damage. When that restoration company arrived, they immediately stated there was no way the ceiling leak could have originated from the secondary bathroom because of the location and no evidence of water stains. They recommended another plumber and a leak detection company come out to find the leak before they performed any work. I contacted a second plumber, who agreed the leak was much more likely connected to the master bathroom toilet directly above the leak area. Finally, I hired a leak detection company, and they also confirmed the leak aligned with the master bathroom location, not the secondary bathroom Plumbing Express repaired. At this point, three separate professionals have stated the leak could not have originated from the bathroom Plumbing Express serviced. I paid $450 for a repair that did not address the actual problem I originally called about. In Response to Ty G: Your response is totally incorrect. I would not have called the second plumber and the leak detection company if your recommended restoration company had not told me that the leak was not identified. The pictures taken are of the secondary bathroom not the master as we discussed in our phone call. It is totally "disingenuous" for you to now state that the master toilet was the issue. This validates everything I thought about your company. Others beware!

I called him and he was available to come out within a couple hours. When he got here and inspected the unit, he immediately identified the issue saying we had a bad capacitor. He had one on his truck and had it changed out in minutes and we again had working AC. I asked him to quote some more services and his fees were more than reasonable. He explained all our options and gave us a good price for a very good replacement. We said 'go!' and we had a new heater in about four hours. He also explained a few mistakes the previous installer had made with some of the plumbing (the reserve tank was on the wrong side of the valve and the plastic tubes were too close to the exhaust valve, which could have melted them). Anyway, Tyler was awesome - very professional, very proficient, very personable, and able to explain everything to someone who's definitely not a plumber. I had them come out to pump my 1,000 gallon tank and was quoted 485 over the phone. The reason I…read morecalled them was because my bathroom had smelled a bit like sewer the last two days and then the morning I called them, the shower wasn't draining as quickly as it had. The last time we had the tank pump was 5 years ago so I figured that's what it needed. They have this bait and switch scam where they tell you it's going to be $485 to pump it but then they show up and they tell you there's an over full fee of $200 and if you happen to have any Kleenex or wipes in your septic system they charge you another $150 trash fee. So by the time you get your septic tank cleaned out it could cost you almost $1,000! They advertise $485 to get you in the door but then they jack up the price with extras. You're better off just to pay a competitor $600 and not get up charged at all. They will do everything for $600 and not add on charges. Ridiculous things. There are a lot of septic tank companies in the Atlanta and Douglasville area. Before hiring this company, please get a few estimates and don't fall for there their price. Gimmick to get them on your property. EDIT TO RESPOND TO OWNER'S COMMENT: Has there ever been a routine? $485 pumping? I can almost guarantee the answer to that question is no. You use the $485 to get people to let you come on to their property. Once you're on their property you have a $285 cancellation fee if they reject your up charges and high pricing. You've got this scam really well figured out and I hope future customers understand what you're doing. It's very obvious. In the future I will just go with the middle priced septic guy and if they try to up charge me with trash fees or digging fees or over full fees I will tell them no thank you and call the next person. I think it's very shady what you're doing with this bait and switch pricing tactic. The only reason you gave me a $50 discount is because I told you that I would have to get some more price quotes from other companies before I committed to the ​high price with the upcharges. Only then did you quickly offer me a $50 discount. I knew if I didn't accept the offer and turned him away, I would end up paying your $285 cancellation fee. So yeah you guys are cheesy as heck and it's really sad. You should be reported to the better Business bureau and probably criminally as well.
