Don't buy from them they are a rip off. They don't have prices on anything and they just charge whatever they want. Also you can't return, exchange or get any refunds. My son was trying on shoes and they said "no you should get these instead over and over again." He got home and really didn't like them so we tried to take them back and the lady wouldn't do anything for us at all! We are out $85 on shoes he hates and won't be wearing. read more

This gently reused or "like new" condition clothing store that may be mistaken as a "skate shop" will disappoint guaranteed before you go be informed this establishment offers a super shawty feeling inventory of maybe 5 or 6 again "like new" boards and some other definitely not out of box or mint Merchandise as one would expect at a so called ."skate shop" which in no way is advertised as a resale store. this is NOT A SKATE SHOP! DONT WASTE YOUR TIME. The owner and maybe his wife or whoever is hired to stand at the door to embarrass and HARASS a potential paying customer-is insanely rude. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. Accused me of "ruining her whole store" while looking through her pathetic excuse of a second or third hand exchange which I'll remind you 75% was bootleg products and maybe 25% authentic out of box worth nothing to anyone products. I'll even say I'd give her the benefit of the doubt here and say this behavior may be expected late or close to close time but it was early. No excuse. Worse than shit customer service and pathetic owners that seem miserable to be lucky enough to own their own store front in such a great location but contrary to what may be expected; just know this place won't be what you're expecting in the worst way you could imagine I highly suggest you take time to consider this review before wasting it and your money here. i have NEVER been treated this way in retail establishment. i walked in today to buy a complete and walked out wanting to throw it through the window. here is a summary of what happened. I asked for 149 classic indys, they only have one in stock... ONE truck! i left with 159's that i did not want... i asked for no risers, they insisted i had to buy risers for my board. in the hour i was in there setting up my complete 4 parties of customers came in an asked for specific items which the shop did not have the owners REPEATEDLY told the customers to buy a different style, or different size, YOU ARE A BUSINESS YOU DONT TELL CUSTOMERS WHAT THEY WANT After the lady owner I think her name is Marie asked me about why I had been out of the country. She proceeded to tell my in a very aggressive voice about telling the people in the world that AMERICA IS NUMBER ONE and go back to your country and stop coming here. All because i said I enjoyed Indonesia. And yes a lot of people do not like donald trump around the world" Why does everyone want to come here?!" she demanded repeatedly. I am not into politics and i immediately stoppiws the conversation but she continued to rant at me about how trump is a great person..... Well skateboarding is a small place, and you obviously do NOT understand skateboarding is FOR EVERYBODY I cant believe I gave these people my money...$220 plus!!!! im so bummed. Politics has no place in skateboarding. and these people have no place in the industry. Nearly everyone who walked in the store was Latino, and you're going to rant about building walls? This is know in the skateboarding community as the shop everyone goes to once. The owners are family friends, so it is a bit difficult to write this review. The wife of the owner runs this one while her husband runs another epic trends in Oceanside. The store is very disorganized, the new stuff is just layered on the old stuff that wouldn't sell. The wife is absolutely paranoid, every inch of the store has a hand-written "no stealing" sign. She has a STRICT no-returns policy. She doesn't really know much about skateboarding, and she talks trash on her customers with me every time I come in. I went in there recently to get my friend a pair of trucks and she kept us in there for almost 3 hours. She has no time management and kept about 4 costumers waiting because she would get about half way through with one and move onto the next. She sold me garbage spacers that broke in a week and of course she wouldn't let me return them or even switch them out for different ones. I am done with this place. read more

Came in to purchase complete decks for 4 kids ranging in age from 2-9. The couple was very friendly and informative and were able to offer any help I might have needed. Picked up a few cute pairs of Vans for my boys as well. Happy to have this place so close by! read more

Small hole in the wall Skate shop. Came here to find a gift for my skater nephew. Although the shop was small, they sold everything from skateboards, shoes, & apparel. The Owner was super helpful and helped me look for items, she also told me that she has to deal with a lot of shop lifting, felt bad for her but am assuming it has to do with the location of the store. Anyway, found a couple items and checked out. They conveniently sold gift bags for a dollar, it saved me another trip to the store. read more

My oldest daughter has stated an interest in skating and wants a Skateboard for their Birthday comingsoon. Staff helped talk me through putting together a custom board for her that should work well for where we live. Awsome prices, not just on the parts but also on the apperal. Better price on shoes and clothes than at some factory stores. Will definately be going back for anything else we need. read more

I walked in and wanted a shirt and hat. There are hardly any hats that I would like or let alone in my size. So I looked at the shirts and there are hardly any xl size men's t-shirts....this seems like a place that mommy and daddy take their son or daughter to get clothes and skateboards. I was going to buy a hat but the man behind the desk paid no attention to me for 5 minutes I waited patiently just to walk out the door he didn't even say thank you or ask me if I needed any help as I walked out. I won't be back I'll continue to go places where I feel welcomed when I walk In and helped when I want to buy something...sorry guys get better customer service and maybe I'll change my mind to return or not. We drove all over North County looking for bearings for a project, and it never occurred to us until this night to try a skate shop! Low and Behold, we found EPIC on yelp and it was totally destiny! Maria was very helpful on the phone when we called to see if she had what we were looking for. It was right before closing, but she said she would be there waiting for us -- she was very welcoming! We were pleasantly surprised with the great selections of bearings they offered and she offered us just the perfect ones! We are very happy with the product and the service and we plan to go back! Fantastic customer service!! Went in for red grip tape and they actually had it! We also checked out their board selection and they let us know know the kids sizes would be coming in the next couple of weeks. Also saw a big selection of wheels - orange, red, and blue solid colors along with the standard branded options. We usually go to Surf Ride and the Vans store in Escondido so this is an awesome local spot. We will definitely be coming back. read more

This place is a go to for boards for me. I snap boards on a weekly basis and I can't be shelling out 50$ every time but here they got blank decks with grip for 21.70 you can't find a board this quality for that price anywhere else I can guarantee it I've looked around even MGills is more and there boards aren't even as good. I've even had epic trend boards last longer than actual brand names. So if you guys are in the area and want an awesome board for a low price go here it is definitely worth it, plus they got a lot of cool stuff besides that also for a good price. I can't believe these people are still open. They convinced me to buy a size 3.5 when I told the lady multiple times I'm a size 3. But because that was the only size they had they left they told me to buy them and I can come back and exchange them if they're too big. I came back the next day because they were in fact too big, and they tell me no exchanges or returns. And we're the rudest people to me and my dad. Never coming here again. read more

today was the worst customer service i had ever been treated at the Vista location- we have been loyal customers for the past 10+ years between, my husband, our 3 kids and me. The lady- Mary Paez, was the RUDEST person i have ever encountered. When i had questions on the charges- she turned her back to me and tried to talk to my teenage daughter. Today- they lost us as loyal customers- as this happened in front of other customers. after questioning her- she mocked me and laughed, like i was some dumb idiot and decided to refund out $$ and refused to sell to us. You really need to have some sort of customer service class for your employees as if they keep being rude- you will keep getting complaints- which i have read quite a few on-line! Bottom line- we ended up going to another vendor and actually paid a lot more, which was well deserved with the customer service the showed us. i think that all the reviews should be read as I am not the only one that has had the same experience. I will be emailing the owner as well. DO NOT GO TO THE VISTA LOCATION AS THIS IS WHERE WE WERE MISTREATED! read more
