PSA - Never order out-of-stock shoes from Famous Footwear for delivery. It has been the biggest headache. My shoes never arrived after a week like they said in-store that they would. I call two weeks ago and they said the order was cancelled... they never called or emailed me to let me know that. They said they would credit my credit card by the 29th of May, they never did. I called today, and no record of my call with the CS I spoke with two weeks ago, so now another hour on the phone to repeat the whole process. What a cluster! Arrived at 530pm to the Famous Footwear on King Avenue Billings, MT there was 5 people in the store who greeted my family. Then they all disappeared when we were picking out shoes and trying to find sizes. A staff person came by and told us all blue tags were BOGO. We picked out 2 shoes for my daughter. I waited in line to talk with the only staff person I could find to ask a question about BOGO and she kept saying, "I will have to look it up in the system." By the time we check out 5 staff are up at the register and ring us up full price even though we have a blue tag shoe. My husband has to remind staff of BOGO to reduce our $155.00 total to $115.00 for track shoes. Attitude and work ethic are poor at this location. We wont be in again. read more

My wife bought a pair of boots here and they put it on her debit card twice, saying that it would not work. Then she paid with her Mastercard, which went through. I am disappointed in the way my items were shipped to me,. One pair was in a box that was smashed and small,. was not even the box the shoes went in. I purchased four pairs of toddler shoes online as gifts for my granddaughters. All shoes were shipped together in one box (in individual shoe boxes), however when I opened one of the individual boxes it only had one shoe in it. I contacted famous footwear through email, we corresponded three or four times over a week. After not receiving an email for several days I then called famous footwear and was told they were still working on it and to give it another day or two. Two days later I did receive not one but three emails from Famous Footwear. One email stated my return had been received, which I didn't return anything. The second email said they were processing a refund for the return. The third email said: "We would love to have you place a new order with us. However, we strongly recommend shipping to an alternative address, if possible, as our system will not allow us to process future lost shipment claims to this address where the tracking information shows "Delivered"." So, even though I only have one shoe (that I have to throw away) but because it was delivered, their solution is to refund me but tell me not to have anything shipped to my house anymore?? We all randomly check to see if they unlocked the door. 11:05am hits and the doors are still locked even though the hours say 11am. My wife, daughter and I shopped here recently. There were huge banners reading "Buy One Get One 50% Off". Also, when we walked in the store, the associate yelled "we're having a huge Buy One Get One Half Off Sale". We found a pair of Nikes then decided because it was half off the next pair we'd get another. We also got a third but didn't find a fourth we liked. So three pairs of Nikes. At the register the cashiers revealed that it only applies to certain brands (Crocs and some others), not Nikes. We reluctantly paid full price. These are dishonest business practices. At the bottom, the sign says "some exclusions apply". Excluding all Nikes is not some exclusions. It's a huge exclusion. My advice is: choose a different shoe store.
