Just know if you pay with cash and you're due back .27 cents you will only get .25 cents. They are going to steal your 2 cents as they don't give back pennies. PSA - Never order out-of-stock shoes from Famous Footwear for delivery. It has been the biggest headache. My shoes never arrived after a week like they said in-store that they would. I call two weeks ago and they said the order was cancelled... they never called or emailed me to let me know that. They said they would credit my credit card by the 29th of May, they never did. I called today, and no record of my call with the CS I spoke with two weeks ago, so now another hour on the phone to repeat the whole process. What a cluster! Easier to just reject payment through my credit card company. I accidentally ordered the wrong size, and because the shoe I bought was part of a "buy one, get one half off" deal, they made it extremely difficult to reorder the correct size. I just received my Dr. Scholl's sneakers that I have been waiting for. The Federal Express bag looked like it had vomited on it. The box that the shoes came in were a bent up boot box. If I could give it zero stars, I would I've never had so much issues returning a pair of shoes. I got a pair two pairs of shoes online when I got them they were dirty and looked like they had been worn and someone had to return them and nobody had looked at them to see what condition they're in. By far the most boring shoe selection in any shoe shop. Nothing changes year after year, I want to love this store for their deals but come on. Consumers want a variety, especially if we only shop here 1-2 times a year. Add I write I've been standing in line for about 15 minutes with very little movement and still have 4 groups ahead of me. EDIT- As an update, I was in line for OVER 35 MINUTES while one cashier checked people out and another employee roamed the store. Very poor judgment on the manager's part to not have 2 people checking people out until the queue was reduced. Misplaced priorities that created a horrible customer experience for many people, not just myself. Arrived at 530pm to the Famous Footwear on King Avenue Billings, MT there was 5 people in the store who greeted my family. Then they all disappeared when we were picking out shoes and trying to find sizes. A staff person came by and told us all blue tags were BOGO. We picked out 2 shoes for my daughter. I waited in line to talk with the only staff person I could find to ask a question about BOGO and she kept saying, "I will have to look it up in the system." By the time we check out 5 staff are up at the register and ring us up full price even though we have a blue tag shoe. My husband has to remind staff of BOGO to reduce our $155.00 total to $115.00 for track shoes. Attitude and work ethic are poor at this location. We wont be in again. read more

I am disappointed in the way my items were shipped to me,. One pair was in a box that was smashed and small,. was not even the box the shoes went in. Box was taped to make sure shoes did not fall out.. The second pair was in another smashed box with no lid. Was just thrown in and covered in the red bag that Famous footwear uses. My wife bought a pair of boots here and they put it on her debit card twice, saying that it would not work. Then she paid with her Mastercard, which went through. As did both transactions with her debit card! The charged her 250$ to her debit card and will not refund her debit card for the amount taken. I purchased four pairs of toddler shoes online as gifts for my granddaughters. All shoes were shipped together in one box (in individual shoe boxes), however when I opened one of the individual boxes it only had one shoe in it. I contacted famous footwear through email, we corresponded three or four times over a week. After not receiving an email for several days I then called famous footwear and was told they were still working on it and to give it another day or two. Two days later I did receive not one but three emails from Famous Footwear. One email stated my return had been received, which I didn't return anything. The second email said they were processing a refund for the return. The third email said: "We would love to have you place a new order with us. However, we strongly recommend shipping to an alternative address, if possible, as our system will not allow us to process future lost shipment claims to this address where the tracking information shows "Delivered"." So, even though I only have one shoe (that I have to throw away) but because it was delivered, their solution is to refund me but tell me not to have anything shipped to my house anymore?? It's Sunday morning on 9/11 and I arrive 3 minutes before the doors open. I'm the 1st one here but a line quickly forms outside of about 8 people. We all randomly check to see if they unlocked the door. 11:05am hits and the doors are still locked even though the hours say 11am. I knock bc 2 ladies are at the register...A lady in a yellow shirt walks to the door with an angry face and unlocks the door and walks away. This guy says "well she's not happy"...like why are we getting attitude?? It's just so rude, I walk in and I'm so annoyed that I refuse to spend my money here. Manager needs to do a better job training her employees before leaving them out in the floor alone on a busy Sunday afternoon . My wife, daughter and I shopped here recently. There were huge banners reading "Buy One Get One 50% Off". Also, when we walked in the store, the associate yelled "we're having a huge Buy One Get One Half Off Sale". We found a pair of Nikes then decided because it was half off the next pair we'd get another. We also got a third but didn't find a fourth we liked. So three pairs of Nikes. At the register the cashiers revealed that it only applies to certain brands (Crocs and some others), not Nikes. We reluctantly paid full price. These are dishonest business practices. At the bottom, the sign says "some exclusions apply". Excluding all Nikes is not some exclusions. It's a huge exclusion. My advice is: choose a different shoe store. There are so many better ones that actually honor what they say. read more

The prices online are cheaper. For the exact same shoe they charge much more than the online price. Because of that, I didn't buy anything. I have been looking online for a couple of weeks and then I finally called to see what's going on and they canceled it and they're giving me only $38 back. We live in San Diego and drove 30 minutes for order pick up. We tried them on to make sure and one didn't fit. We liked another shoe and only the display one fit.
