Super cute to come here during a hot summer day to cool off with the water. I am not much of a swimmer so I really enjoyed the lazy river which you ride with a tube and you float all around the waterpark area. They also have a lot of water slides that you can choose from. I do wish that they had a better queue for getting the Float tubes because people kept walking out out of their turn to get a tube, especially the little ones and since there is no one managing that queue, it becomes chaotic. There is a waterslide at the top that can be a little bit intimidating since it is very steep and one of them is a bit nerve-racking in the sense that it is just a button that the staff uses to drop you down. Most of the other slides are pretty tame. It was a good time to just chill and enjoy the water. Also, they have an arcade section where they load up 24 points for all three of us to play some indoor games.

Epic Waters Indoor Waterpark was a great experience overall! We visited during spring break in March, and I was pleasantly surprised that the wait times weren't bad at all. The slides were a lot of fun--we enjoyed them so much that we went on several of them back-to-back. I did enjoy the lazy river, and it was a nice way to relax between rides. That said, it wasn't something I could spend hours doing, and we definitely preferred mixing it up with the slides and other attractions. I didn't take many photos because I didn't want to risk losing my phone or having to sit out while everyone else stayed in the water. You really only need a few hours here--I can't imagine spending an entire day. I also believe ticket prices are reduced later in the afternoon (around 3-4 PM), which would be perfect for a shorter visit. I would definitely return, especially on a family trip or with a larger group. One thing I did question was seating--it didn't feel like there were enough tables for the number of families there, and with a larger group it might be difficult to find space to sit and relax together. Overall, a fun park and worth the visit!

The experience of Epic water waterpark was above average. If you ever been to Kalahari resort in Round Round, then it's the exact same concept, minus the resort. The outdoor portion just has the wave pool. The inside is slightly cramp, trying to find somewhere to sit, but there is more than enough space to sit. The prices do have the ability to go down. But on the pricey side. My assumption is that they are still paying off the building. Be warned you can't bring any outside opened drinks.

I know that this place has gotten mixed reviews, but my experience was nothing short of amazing. I brought the kids here for their New Years Eve Bash and it was awesome. The place has a huge private parking lot and provide a shuttle ride if you are parked too far out. I purchased my tickets online, but you are able to buy them in person, if you so chose. If you wait to buy them in person though, the park may be full and you will not be allowed to get in. The Water Park kept its promise and the air and water were 85 degrees. There is no outside food allowed and they check your bags for food when you enter. The staff there were very friendly and helpful from top to bottom. They were full of energy and planned a very good event. This place is BYOT (Bring your Own Towel). They do not have any towel service. You can buy some from their shop if you did not bring one though. The park has a lot to keep you entertained. They have a medium sized arcade, where you are able to play games for points and then redeem those points for some cheap prizes. You will also find a full bar here with beer and signatures cocktails for purchase. They also have a Wave Rider, but you need to sign a waiver if you would like to partipate in that ride. The Park's lazy river was cool, but it ain't that lazy, meaning kids are running by you like they are in the Indy 500. The park has a regular pool with a basketball court and a floating shark to ride. Next to that is the HUGE kids splash pad area, Rascal's Round Up, with slides, waterfalls, sprayers, and more, all in a wading pool. The park does not have any loungers chairs. They do however, have a bunch of tables and chairs around the kids and regular pools. There are also a bunch near the bar area. They are first come, first serve. I did not have a problem securing a table for my family and stuff. You can rent lockers at the park, but I took my chances and just keep my stuff at the table I secured. It also served as a placeholder for my table. If you want a spot to call your own at the park, you can rent a cabana. The cabanas are really nice. They have The Park's snack bar served burgers, chicken tenders, wraps, chicken sandwiches, quesadillas, nachos, pretzels, and a 22" hotdog. The park features a few slides. Two slides are two-seater raft slides. There is a 4 lane racer slide that you use a mat and go head first and then there are two extreme slides, with very steep drops. My kids liked the raft slides the most. You will see a wave pool outside in the back that is connected to the indoor facility by a garage door. It looked like a nice area, but I could not experience (nor did I want to) because it was closed for the season. The lazy river did have some waves at certain times though. Some of the special events that they had for the New Years Eve event were circus performers, a duck drop, crafts, a raffle, and a dinner. It was a really fun time and even though there were a lot of people there, it did not feel that crowded because they had so much to do and it was so spaced out. I would happily go back here anytime and I highly recommend this place for year-round fun.

$40 for adults, kids 3 and under are free. There's a bar inside, drinks range from $9-$12. Lots of tables on the side, went in a Thursday and still found tables. Cabana's for rent. Food is expensive and not good. Churros were hard, pizza was ok. You can't bring outside food inside but you can go to your car to eat. Park is open till 9pm and once you can go in and out all day. I'll be back for sure. There's a lazy river. All the slides were awesome.

A fun experience suitable for everyone to enjoy. This was my second time here and both times were enjoyable and satisfactory. I'll start with the food: pretty average as I didn't set my expectations too entirely high. The cheese nachos were ok. They probably would've been better if I would have added meat and jalapeños . Churros were pretty sweet and could've used less sugar. Pizza was ok nothing spectacular . Water park itself has age appropriate areas. Spacious lazy river. Lot of unique spaces for the family and friends to enjoy. A great attraction for summer fun. This place is well kept and has safety precautions well taken care of . Lots of seating so there is not a lot of community or struggle to find chairs . Parking is easy and smooth as well. Well put together venue for a wet & fun adventure .

This was our first time to visit an indoor water park and it did not disappoint. My kids had a blast. I love that they have free parking. There were plenty of things inside to keep them busy. We enjoyed the spacious kid area, the lazy river, and the water slides the most but there is also an arcade and a surfing area that we saw at the park as well. Everything was clean and well managed with lifeguards monitoring the facilities at all times; we saw the lifeguards stationed all around and they did a great job keeping swimmers safe and preventing injuries by correcting behaviors that could cause problems (such as excited kids running and/or slipping). The only complaint that I have is not being able to bring in outside food or drinks. The kids worked up quite an appetite with all the swimming so the convenient thing to do is to pay for the over priced pizza, chicken tenders, nachos, etc. Being able to pack a lunch to enjoy at the park would make it better (financially) for large families. I did appreciate that they have a full bar available for any adults who want an adult beverage. All things considered we had fun and will for sure visit again.

overall is fun but very busy. the womens locker rooms only have 2 showers and there was a long line forming for them. there's 2 tube slides and a mat slide and lazy river.

Kids area to himself! Living the dream!

Loved Tiny Tot time! Every Monday kids are $7 and parents get in free from 8 AM to 10 AM. The vibes are super chill, maybe a dozen people by the end. It's nice to have him move at his own pace with no big kids around. The staff was so welcoming and kind, towards the end, they came around with water and snacks to ease that transition home.

So many slides! The kids had the time of their lives. There's also a wave pool outdoors and a lazy river inside. The kids area was large and had many slides and water activities to keep them entertained for hours. Well worth the money. The have cool food options and a bar. If you forget water items there is a store with goggles towels etc. loved this place and will return if I come back to the area.

Is it warm enough during wintertime?

    Yes

Would anyone that has been here recommend for teens (winter time boredom)?

Yes I would. There were plenty of teenagers and the adults enjoyed themselves as well

Can anyone tell me about the locker rentals?

You can use a credit card and pick the size you want, it's manual do-it-yourself. They have many sizes and the bigger ones are more expensice but fit a lot of stuff. Can't remember exact prices! They are located near the snack bar!

Is there a hotel close to the water park?

There are many hotels within a few miles but none in walking distance. Take 161 down to I-20 and that is where you will find them.

Soo my aunt is a Grand Prairie resident and me and like 4 friends want to go can we all say we are living there together and only pay $22?

Just bring your aunt with you. She's the only one they will ask an ID for. Give her the cash and she pays. That's what we did! My mom lives in GP and we all got in for the residence price. Hope this helps!

    Is the water warm?

    It sure is

Is a Cabana rental worth it if you have a large group? And what's the capacity for a cabana?

I'm unsure if the capacity we did a family reunion and had a large group. Our aunt made the arrangements so i know it had to be reasonable... sorry that i don't have more info ... we thoroughly enjoyed the park and lines moved fast during the summer

Do they have children's life vests available for use? If so, are they free or rentals?

Child vests are available and free of charge.

He loves waterparks more than anything in life, but we've already been to Great Wolf Lodge on multiple occasions, and we preferred to book with Bonvoy points over shelling out the cash for GWL. Plus, we didn't have a ton of waterpark time on the schedule - win, win, win. One thing that was frustrating is that there was zero record anywhere on the internet of the height requirement for the slides here. Well, internet, I'm here to save you with the answers. We have a son that was 43" as of this visit, and he would be crushed to get his hopes up about doing these slides, only to find out that he's not allowed to. There's one big water "castle" with 3 slides. Those requirements are 42". We actually came here a couple of years ago and he definitely did those slides then, and he was most certainly not 42" then. So I'm not sure if they just changed these or they just weren't enforcing the rules in 2023, but they definitely were measuring him on this visit. Then there's one bigger water slide that's stand alone. The requirements are that you have to be 48" to ride freely, but 42-47" is ok with a life jacket. And then the same restrictions apply to the zip line where you can jump in the water after hanging from several feet above the water. The annoying thing about this was that we were there early in the morning and were the only ones doing it. Yet the lifeguard literally measured my son each time he walked up, despite the fact that he was literally doing it over and over again with no one else around. Make it make sense. Overall, this is not the most amazing waterpark you'll find. But when you book with points, all you have to pay is the resort fee and for parking. It's pretty good bang for your buck when you think about it in those terms.

We upgraded and got the cooler pass, which allows you to bring in a cooler or ice chest each visit where you can bring drinks and snacks that don't contain alcohol. The parking lot has ample spaces to park, and parking is always free. The park hours vary by the day of the week and month. The best bet is to go online and check out the park schedule for a more accurate listing. There are many slides and fun activities for the kids to do. The park is designed for small children, and all the slides end in a shallow end of water that is still intact with the slide. They have a lazy river and a wave pool that are all waist deep as well as 2 small kids play areas with small slides and water activities. There are many lifeguards present who do a great job in making sure everyone remains safe in a fun filled environment since safety should be everyone's concern. There are a couple of food vendors on site, and they have picnic grounds to sit back and relax while enjoying a day in the sun. The floats are always free to use, and there is an abundance of lawn chairs to sit back and recline to soak it all in. There are 2 more locations in Roanoke and Waco, and both are built similar but have different attractions. There are always specials and events going on, such as the 4th of July firework show and discounts throughout the week with certain promotions. This is the perfect family getaway with families who have small kids and are looking for a safe place to swim and beat the North Texas heat!

Huge fans of The Lagoon! Highly recommend getting a season pass which gives you access to members…read moreonly swim time. It does get crowded, but the staff are always friendly & helpful. They also work hard to keep the area clean! Our kids absolutely love the slide & lazy river.

The Lagoon just opened this Summer of 2023 and I'm happy to say the experience here made my summer…read morecomplete! I have been at the pool the last 3 weekends (4 Xs total) this Summer and it is truly 5 stars! The check in is super easy. I paid $5 each time (a discount for C.Hill) residents as well as your guest. They do take cash or card which is convenient. The line is never long, really non existent most of the time. Parking is a breeze especially if you get there for open swim which begins at 12 noon. The majority of the lounge chairs are shaded and you don't have to worry about anyone taking/moving your belongings as you enjoy the water. The lazy river is extremely clean and well kept and the floaties are in abundance and FREE! Everyone is respectful in the pool! At any given time there can be newborn babies to the seniors and every age in between so being courteous is just as important as having fun! The music is great too! They play EVERYTHING including Spanish songs on Cedar Hill Tunes. There is one lazy river, one slide which is so much fun and never a long line, as well as a larger pool that is wheelchair assessable too. It was in this pool that my BF taught me to swim this Summer so the Cedar Hill Lagoon will forever be memorable to me! They also have about 7 cabanas that you can rent out for your private event. The bathrooms have great air flow and are pretty well kept with no trash on the ground an I definitely appreciated the cleanliness. They also have showers too. The lifeguards are also professional and they appear to have fun too. There is food available if you get hungry. A CH police officer does make his/her round at the pool too so it definitely makes you feel safe an at ease. I hope the Lagoon continues to be a fun, clean, memorable place for my future summers!
