The lady asked me twice for what I wanted, then said they didn't sell smartwater, then after I asked for Dasani water she went around the kitchen asking like 3 other employees, then going back to me asking me if I wanted Dasani water, then goin back across the kitchen for the third time and finally getting me the $5.5 water. Then I asked for body armor and she went BACK across the kitchen and then came back and said they don't have it even though it was on the menu. read more

When you have people giving you incorrect information, it's beyond annoying. I'd rather you tell me, "I don't know" than to make up an answer. Went around 3pm on a Thursday and getting in to park was the easiest part of the day. We walked in and tried to scan our cards and the girl tells me one of my cards is just for parking and the other card is invalid. She continues to look at me until I finally asked "do I need to go to guest services?" And she mumbled a yes. Get to guest services and you can see plenty of people inside but only one window is being utilized. An employee finally comes to the window and I explain what happened in line, he goes above and beyond trying to help me get the situation resolved. He takes a picture of what he has just in case and thankfully he did as when I went back into line, the card on the app still didn't work. This girl looked confused but she called someone over to help her and we got it resolved. I was surprised to find a chair but if I tell you the chairs are sitting on top of each other so be prepared to get to know your neighbor. So apparently we haven't come in a while as when I got into the lazy river I was looking for tubes only to find out you have to rent them! $15 for a single tube and you can't bring your own. Also not a fan of the you can only enter/exit at certain spots. Wave pool - yeah, no tubes allowed in there. You have grown folks using life vest to float on or grown folks with life vest on to float in the deepest end. You can't bring any outside food or drinks in but are welcome to go to your car and come back in to continue your day. As I said, it's been a minute since we came although we are season card members however my 17 year old was ready to go, said he could have more fun at the local pool. read more

72.7% of rides closed. It pains me to say how much the park has regressed since my last visit in 2022. The lack of communication, the staff, and the decisions made by the park in recent years baffles me. To begin, OVER HALF THE RIDES WERE CLOSED. I arrived at the park and the only major rides open were tornado, blue, raider, and the Dive Bomber complex. (The rest open were kid rides). Here is the list of rides CLOSED: Banzai pipeline, Raging Rapids, Atlantic Panic, Sea Wolf, Caribbean Chaos, Tsunami Surge, Typhoon Twister, and Wahoo Racer!! There was no communication that this was the case, and no workers could give a reason why they were closed or if they would ever open. This is sad from a park already lacking in thrill rides after removing black hole, mega wedgie, and the surf experience in return for tearing down the old kids section and building a new one. I don't get this direction trying to turn the park into a children's splash pad rather than a water park. Later in the day there was thunder in the distance so the park obviously shut down the few rides that were still open. The issue was it was not communicated how long this would last, and it took an hour after the only thunder strike and no rain for the 3 rides and wave pool/lazy river to open again. Later in the day Wahoo Racer opened which was awesome. Most of this could be chalked up to what I'm hoping was an unlucky off-day, these things should just be communicated before you enter the park. I still had a blast, I just hope communication improves, staff is more mature and efficient, and the park moves in a better direction and finds its identity. We were there 4 hrs got on 2 rides!!!! SEVERELY OVERPACKED!!!! AWFUL! Fire marshal or someone needs to check their occupy. Nothing like when I was a kid! Line to get in even with online tickets is stupidly long, can't find lockers, the lockers card readers don't work, every little kid HAS TO wear a life jacket (which they DO NOT have enough of so they are wearing oversized ones) regardless if they can swim or with a parent by their side, EVERYTHING is fenced off so NOTHING is easily accessible so takes FOREVER to get to anything including the wave pool lazy river & kiddy area (new kid area is very nice.) We also got scammed out of our souvenir cup bc they want u to scan in one line then get in another line to get a cup & another to get a drink. We were just trying to LEAVE! Then as we're leaving my husband, not thinking, used his vape & this CUNT of a lady came up said "u cant vape in here" then snatched it out of his hand as I'm saying "we're literally about to walk out the gate." Went when they open at around 11am. When you get there until about 1pm the crowds aren't too bad, and the lines are decent. This is also a weekday. Toward the end of the day it got more busy. This place used to be amazing, but it's got a big problem now that i'm not sure they can even really fix. There's too many people that don't know how to act right. They just opened a new kid's play area and there's women walking around with the most revealing bathing suits (something more appropriate for a strip club than a family oriented water park). Where do I start....rude employees. Every time I get served at the concessions the young teenagers have an attitude problem. If you can't be polite don't work. Please save everyone the headache of not getting a job even if it's for the summer. Please understand the register properly. You should know how the meal plans work or else your employer isn't teaching y'all properly. It's specific types of employee who have customer service problems. Then there's the surge of employees constantly hanging out in the background with nothing to do but talk while the few people in the front are actually working. I went to Hurricane Harbor for the first time Monday afternoon an had an enjoyable time. All the slides were open even the lazy river contrary to what many reviews mentioned. My only gripe was that there are no floaties available for free for the lazy river like most water parks have. The river is dirty however and the entry sign stating if your ill with diarrhea to stay out, is quite off putting. With just the thought of it and the strand of random hair that came through my fingers, I was ready to get out right away! Definitely not going back in there! My best friend and I were disappointed as we couldn't find any available lockers with green lights (all red and occupied) when we arrived around 1pm or so. We took everything but our towels back to the car and to re enter was a breeze once you get stamped. It was bittersweet when later my best friend spotted so many more lockers in another part of the park so when you first come in, keep looking further down where the tables are because they're more lockers there. The line for food took longer than waiting to get on a slide! Close to 15 minutes! (All we wanted was 2 cups of water!) My favorite slide is the all black one! The slide associates are young high schoolers and they have a fun attitude! Despite the negative reviews, my experience was pleasant and I look forward to going back as I have a season pass! Just note that the cheapest locker is $13 and the park only takes cards. You can convert your cash to a card using a machine located inside the park. read more

My gf and I visited on a Saturday afternoon. We bout the tickets with parking and unlimited food every 90 min. First off, the food is disgusting. There is not one positive thing to say. I would 100% skip it if possible. They ran out of ice so quickly drinking hot water in 100 degree weather is awful. The employees for the most part are incredibly RUDE. There was no reason for some of the dialogue I heard with ruly guests. As far as the park and rides, it was awesome! Everything was open, lines were long as expected, but I have no complaints. We enjoyed it. I wish they told you bringing your own tubes are allowed. I saw several because the rentals are expensive. However, if you go late in the day people leave and abandon them in the lazy river so it's free! If the service and food would match the park, they would definitely have better reviews. read more

I had remembered coming here in middle school when it was called a different name, presumably before it got absorbed by six flags. We hadn't brought our kids due to there being options closer to home that are indoors and outdoors. My wife brought our oldest a number of years ago and it was a bad enough experience that they ended up leaving quickly and ending up at our city rec center and had a blast. Some of our friends had six flags passes and needed a ride up there and back, so I offered to take them. We saw so many middle to high school age kids just being dropped off. As well as a few kids that had to hopefully be elementary age tagging along with older siblings. Our friends ended up not staying long, echoing some of the issues we had in the past as well as a few others. Lots of unmonitored kids, Texas heat, and crowds didn't make for a good experience. Add frustrated employees, or employees who just don't care and it is a recipe for disaster. They didn't let outside food/drink in but ran out of a number of items. You are better off getting a day pass at any number of the indoor water parks, because even GWL offers day passes with out a room at times, or another outdoor water park. read more

This place was okay. I went here when I was quite young and it still looked the same to me. The waits for rides are extremely long, it took me over an hour just to ride the Arctic wolf (If that's what it's called). The system for the slides (single and multiple riders) is SO SLOW. The place had a nice view depending on where you were. I'm pretty sure our server was high on who-knows-what because it took us multiple times of repeating our order and going over it nearly ten times before he got it right. The food was less than mediocre. My cousin had a burger that tasted soggy and like soda. Safety doesn't look prioritized either. There are multiple dead zones for lifeguards in the wave pool. I'm not even sure they clean that thing because when they turned on the waves I didn't realize and I went underwater. When I came up, I got a mouthful of unknown bodily fluids along with sweat, chlorine, pee, and maybe even sunscreen. It's a cesspool of mystery in there. As I write this review, my throat is sore in the same spot where the water/suspicious juices made the most contact with my throat and roof of my mouth. That hurts. Our Hurricane Harbor Arlington experience: We spent a total of $160 for 2 people to attend a park where OVER HALF the rides were closed. Parking was $40 (nearly double from last year). Two tickets were $64.93, locker was $18, and fries with cheese, a diet coke, and funnel cake was $38. Many food vendors were closed as well. Tsunami Surge, Typhoon Twister, Black Hole, Wahoo Racer, Surf Rider, Raging Rapids, Lazy River (2nd year in a row it's closed when I've gone), only 2/3 Dive Bomber was open, and Banzai Pipeline--ALL closed! Absolutely mind-blowing to charge us so much for a lackluster experience. For $160, this was absolutely unacceptable. And for the lazy river to be closed each time I've gone too! We booked this day over a week in advance, so we had no way of knowing that it was going to be like this. I want a fair reimbursement since that was probably the worst water park experience I've ever had. I sent vipsupport@sixflags.com an email days ago AND submitted a note on their website last week, and I still haven't gotten a response. I think it's more than fair to ask for a reimbursement. We spent almost $500 for a VIP cabana for my son's birthday. It was supposed to have a waiter & come with 4 express lane passes & it didn't. We basically spent $500 to get out of the shade. There was also no garbage in our cabana & since our waiter was MIA garbage was flying around so I asked the lady about cleanup & she literally handed us a hefty garbage bag to go cleanup our own food/drink that we tipped & paid a lot of money for. This was not a VIP EXPERIENCE. Especially since the cabana doesn't include park entrance or parking. I spent almost$1,000 on this day to get to wait in lines, cleanup our own garbage & have no waiter. The drinks & food are outrageously priced too. What a disappointment this was. We have been paying for the diamond elite membership for a over a year (signed up early 2021) at the time of course they try to sell you more things and it made sense to add the dining and platinum flash pass however we came to hurricane Harbor Arlington today 7/22/22 @ 11:00A they're telling me that I don't have membership benefits at the WATER park including - dining not honored - reservations for seating unavailable - platinum flash pass not honored - reservations for parking unavailable and not only does the advertisements (at the time) state ALL park and listed ZERO exclusions my welcome packet very clearly named hurricane harbor ARLINGTON as part of my membership parks on the last page. I was told that if they didn't have enough STAFF to OPEN the flash pass shed then I wouldn't be able to get the flash pass here. BUT wouldn't you know it. The flash pass shed is OPEN and has at least 12 teenagers STAFF members standing in having chat time and a bunch in the guest relations who are being paid to serve guest not pass them off to someone else. Not only is six glass not honoring the benefits I was GUARANTEED at the time I signed the agreement everyone is saying it's everyone else job to fix it but the people who they pass me off to says the new CEO has made the decision to make the changes and decided to take away or not honor some benefits going forward this year. However not o Lu does my agreement reflect that BUT ALSO the app VERY CLEARLY notes it under hurricane harbor ARLINGTON (can provide proof to management directly as it has private information when screen shots of membership and app are taken) However I signed up LAST YEAR so that does NOT or should I say should NOT affect the benefits promised (grandfathered in) when I originally signed up in 2021. I have not missed payments or cancelled my membership at any point since then and I have received no reduction in my payment amount when the arbitrarily adjusted benefits for memberships so they need to provide and honor the advertised benefits at the contract time to EXISTING members Let's also discuss how many of the rides constantly being shut down or limited park hours bc they don't have enough staff. I've never seen a credit for that to my payment but I'm just expected to pay the full contract price anyhow. Which I wouldn't mind if they were HONORING the rest of my agreement It would be like telling someone the rent changed in the middle of a lease that had no expiration when the owner agreed to it with the renter. Being that I HAVE to pay EVERY month if if I do NOT go bc I AGREED TO IT IN THE CONTRACT it would stand that the COMPANY would need to honor the same binding agreement I am STILL paying for. read more

So much isn't working, they are low on staff (what they told us), they took my vape pen. They thought it was cannabis. They can have the cart it was $5, that part was no big deal. But taking the battery was not called for, that cost me $35. I had to throw it in the trash. I asked to take it to my car and the witch in security said no. They were still more than happy to have us pay full price to get into the park. If you are like me and you are 250 Lbs, this limits you to only 3 rides for the day. The 3 tall slides, everything else is off limits to you. Very disappointing and a huge waste of money. We will not be going back again. read more

We went to six flags waterpark Texas this last weekend. we decided to buy tickets when we got there because we were unsure if the weather. so we went to customer service to purchase tickets. NEVER buy the tickets at the window, they charge DOUBLE what you would pay on line. Our 1st clue should have been they don't have the ticket prices listed. once you get into the park, you have to pay for lockers, which is fine you do that at all theme parks. They have plenty of seating in the sun and shade, which was nice because Texas is so hot, having shaded options was nice. if you want a tube for the lazy river you have to rent a tub for each person in you party, $15 for a single rice, $20 for a double. nothing is free here. I'm sure I've been spoiled by Disney where the tubes are free, but I'm from Michigan and even at Michigan Adventure the tubes are included, you may have to wait a few minutes but they have them. And let's talk about the food service employees they were so slow, don't care that the line was growing, everything was overprice, not even that hot, rhey don't say HI, they just look at you like your supposed to know they are ready to take your order. and let's talk price. 4 pieces of chicken, fries and a drink costs $25, plus due to wage increases and food cost they charge an additional $1.70 surcharge. we got a $22 funnel cake, Oreo something, it took over 30 min for them to make it, they ran out of vanilla ice cream so we said chocolate was fine, they skipped on the chocolate fudge, Oreo pieces, whipped cream, we tried to get the persons attention to get what we paid for, he just ignored us. some of the lines to ride the rides were long, but that's to be expected at any park on a hot summer day. we enjoyed what we were able to do ride wise. Except the wave pool. it didnt have any waves, it was like little ripples, I'm not sure if it was broken or if that's the way six flags does the wave pool, but other parks we've been too, have actual waves, every so often. For the money they charge you'd think they could train their staff properly. Food is overpriced and people working seem lost about everything. The cabana service is probably the most trained but still uninformed and confused about operations. The lifeguards are probably the most important job here and they do well at it. The wave pool seemed to malfunction and take longer times to start after about 4PM. The lazy river was closed and no where online or at the front is that mentioned. After having the membership for more than 2 years, I have finally decided to come back here again. I know it's kinda a waste of money for paying every month and not going. I don't mind eating or drinking alone, but going to the waterpark alone is something I'm not brave enough to do yet lol Successfully talked my personal bodyguard, aka SO, into coming here with me, and agreeing on taking the risk of burning, turning into a tomato. He doesn't enjoy standing in line waiting much, but we figured out a way to make it fun by people watching as a team. Saw plenty of veryyyy interesting people and tattoos! All together, there were probably about 10 rides worth getting on, excluding the little kiddies ones of course. We were a little dreaded that there might not be enough time to get on all of them, given the fact that most of the lines were pretty long. To our surprise, we were able to get on all of them in less than 4hrs. No need for the flash pass, unless u want to get on those rides more than once. The park is definitely smaller than Schlitterbahn by 2-3times, and doesn't go with the motto "bigger, wetter" just like some other Yelpers mention, but to be fair, it's cheaper, and the wait is not half as crazy. I have to give them an extra star for having delicious snacks option. The Mexican fruits stand was a fantastic addition!!! I stuffed myself with so much fruits and a whole pineapple Pina colada drink. I'm glad I let my BF talked me into "letting" him getting the funnel cake. I was disappointed with basically too many things. 1. It took an hour to park, all the way at the Bank of America building (see a map to see how far that is). Not sure about why, but they eventually just started waving people in and not taking money (I would have been angry had I purchased the parking pass online as well as they didn't even open the window to ask if we had one to let us know how to get a refund. 2. I ordered a cranberry vodka.... he gave me tequila. Those bartenders looked so confused. Please add real bartenders as opposed to people until 21 that don't know the difference between tequila and vodka. They're kids. 3. We tried to get a cabana, the told me to come back at three, I can back 2 minutes later at 2:55. Some smiley lady essentially treated me like an idiot when he coworker said they would be ready at three, then continue to attempt to make me look like a jerk, just for saying, "but he said come back at 3, it's 2.55 and I was gonna two minutes" Essentially I was told they would be ready at three. Came back five minutes before three and the other person working the Cabana rental gave it away at 2:55, prior to my direction to return at three. I didn't wanna make a scene but the Cabana miscommunication/training error, non communication between the two people working the cabana kinda ruined our whole day fantasy. Sidenote we looked online to rent the cabana a day earlier. Your website page clearly says the cabanas are $175 and $250 respectively. But when I click in to buy it it on the website it tries to charge me $200 or $300. The actual cabana shack at Hurricane Harbor also states the 200/300 prices My hope is that you place actually bartenders in the bar areas, not kids, who don't know the difference between vodka and tequila. I hope you also straighten out the errors on your website. People cannot have a good time at your establishment with untrained workers or young workers on my customer service related things. I hope you find this feedback helpful enough to pass on to your Corp OPs team and maybe if we see that these items are resolved we will visit again. Cause come on they are all training and operations problems, you can't blame these kids, and as an employee they should never be put have to put up with the Karen abuse. All in all, since it was a bust I guess I'm grateful for spending on $200 today as opposed to the $1000 I had budgeted to spend in your park. And if you think about it.
