The display in the front was of banned books, so we were thrilled to find a few to add to our collection! After asking about the Spanish options we were guided down the stairs and WOW - a whole other land of options existed... so many books to look through, we could have spent the whole day! She still has the liquor license so they have lots of wine and book club type events. I found the non-fiction section to be rather small but they still had a biography section which is my favorite. They had a great section of cooking books and coffee table type books. Luckily she accepted Apple Pay since my daughter found something and we didn't have our wallets on our bike ride. The service and offerings are great. My sausage, egg, and cheese breakfast croissant was crisp but not overly flaky where it made a mess and it's easier to eat on-the-go once it cools down. There is plenty of seating in the cafe - with tables and a high-top bar seating with outlets. I have not seen any other sitting areas in the store. I love all of the windows that bring in natural lighting. Along the left you have journals, stationery, and gifts. Rifle Paper Co, and all the favorites. Vinyl albums, LEGOs, games, and toys. The shop is bright and airy and stocked with so many wonderful local and handmade items. They also have a great children's section with books and toys. I loved the soft felt garland decor, gift basket ideas on display, and the beautiful jewelry. I got a cute onesie and a new perpetual calendar by a local artist. They also had chocolate and some kitchen/houseware items. I even saw a cooler of locally made freezer meals, which is something I'd never come across in a shop like this before. My friend brought her kids with her and she got a free children's book with her purchase! This was such a cute and fun surprise. We also got our items gift wrapped for free, which is always a nice touch. Prices seemed very fair for the quality of products. There's plenty of parking in the parking lot behind the building, but there is no back entrance to the store, you have to go around to the front to get in. The store automatically smacks you in the face with cute home decor items. A lot of the farmhouse trendy type decorative items, as well as some larger items for the home too! If you walk towards the back, there is a cooler where you can find some fresh flowers and arrangements.
