I first started coming here when I was a college student in my early 20s. Back then, I lived only about 5 or 10 minutes away, and my skin was honestly a mess. I had a lot of acne, whiteheads, blackheads, acne scars, basically everything. My skin was one of the things I was the most stressed and insecure about. Now, almost 10 years later, I don't really struggle with acne anymore. Of course skin changes with age, so now I come for completely different concerns. I usually do treatments like microneedling, Sylfirm, and other maintenance treatments. Lately I have also been stressing about aging, so they are still stuck with me lol. The biggest reason I continue to come here is that I actually feel cared for. I have tried a few places in LA because Fullerton is honestly far from me now, but the experiences were just not the same. Some places felt rushed, not very friendly, or like they were giving everyone the same recommendation. Here, they actually look closely at my skin and tells me what would be helpful for me specifically. I never feel like I am just another customer. And the staff really makes a difference. Alex at the front is always so sweet, patient, and helpful. Jenny and Sunah are both amazing and have taken care of my skin for years. I have known some of the staff since before COVID, and seeing the same people there for so many years makes me feel even more comfortable and trusting of the clinic. I work full time and live in LA, but I still drive over an hour to Fullerton for my appointments. Sometimes I complain about the drive while I'm doing it, but I keep going because I genuinely trust their skills and the way they treat people. I'm a teacher, and people still mistake me for a student pretty often. I know genetics and skincare at home matter too, but I honestly consider this clinic one of the biggest contributors to how my skin looks today. I'm very thankful to the doctor, Alex, Jenny, Sunah, and everyone else who has taken care of me over the years.

It also said I'm 92% oily but I was wearing beef tallow on my face after working all day to help my dry skin (that has been dry my whole life). Any well trained esthetician would be able to see that the scan was inaccurate. They also didn't ask any questions about current products or skin history to verify whether the scan was accurate or not. They based my treatment on the scan which may or may not be the cause of the issue I ended up with. Treatment: good treatment overall but nothing to compare it to since this was my first Korean facial. My skin had a nice glow afterward. The staff was nice so no complaints there. The products weren't clearly explained and I didn't receive any info about them which was another red flag. Post: 3 days after my treatment I developed dermatitis, as seen in pictures and determined by my dermatologist. It's unclear what caused the dermatitis. Post one week: skin has healed mostly with some redness still around my mouth. No scarring. The staff saw my original review and was very concerned and called me. I admit I should have contacted them first prior to the review. They talked to me at length and asked many questions and they did truly seem to care and want to make it right. They did say that they are tightening procedures and the makeup should have been cleaned off first and said they should have asked about current products. This is something they said they normally do but didn't that day. They had concern about the beef tallow but I didnt use any after the facial, just the products they recommended (and I purchased from them). I don't think that was the cause. They offered another facial (very gentle and healing) and my money back which I appreciate considering I paid $100 for a derm appointment and antibiotics. I haven't taken their offer yet but I do think they were genuinely surprised and caring during the process so I'm changing my review from 1 star to 3.

The facility is always very clean and relaxing, the products feel high quality, and the facial massage is amazing -- one of my favorite parts. Service has consistently been great every visit, and I always leave feeling refreshed. Overall, a wonderful experience every time and definitely a place I keep coming back to.

I reached Mirako Spa in Brea for my facial appointment exactly 3 mins late. A lady who told me that…read moremy appointment was at 2:30pm. (I have attached text messages that my appointment was at 2:45pm). Upon showing the text message, she agreed that I was late by 3 mins. (+ 5 mins grace period). I was informed right away that I need to reschedule as I was late or cut down my facial time from 60mins to 40 mins. I should have arrived 15 mins before the appointment time. Therefore, my showing up delayed by 3 mins would delay the next client by 15 mins as they needed time to prepare for the next client! Math doesn't add up any way we look at it unless they had informed in advance to show up 15 mins before the appointment time, which they hadn't. 1. There was absolutely no notification or instruction provided to me about arriving 15 mins early before the appointment time at the time of making my appointment or text reminder. Therefore if one is late by less than. 10 mins, they lose their facial time by 20mins and are lashed out if clients try to reason out. I was told me to depart as I was 3 mins late or reduce my facial time by 20 mins. 2. Jenny, who came over from inside took over the conversation, was very unprofessional and rude. She argued with me for 15 mins non-stop when I tried to reason out that if I was late by 3 mins, if they wanted to be a stickler of time without informing me to arrive 15 mins early, they should take away 3 mins of my time not, 20 mins. She yelled at me saying "I don't want you to come here ever, I never want to give you service!". I don't understand how Mirako Spa even employs such people who are clueless about how to treat clients with courtesy, let alone working in a service industry. Here is the twist: when I checked in, another lady besides Jenny told me that my appointment was at 2:30pm, which their mistake to begin with as my appointment was at 2:45pm. It appears that they messed up with their own scheduling but because I was 3 mins late for my 2:45 appt, I bore the brunt of Jenny's unprofessional behavior as she couldn't admit that they had accidentally messed up scheduling my appointment. Instead she told me to leave or get a facial cut down by 20mins! I am attaching screenshots of my appointment time. As per Jenny, I should have a common sense to show up 15 mins before appointment time even though I wasn't informed about arriving early or else, appt that was anyway scheduled incorrectly by 15 mins sooner, from what I was notified. Try to avoid Jenny if you go to Mirako Spa in Brea, she can be scathing, unreasonable, and unprofessional. Try to reach 15 mins prior to your appointment even if they don't notify you.

I was looking for a local place close to Anaheim and discovered Epiphany in Fullerton, and I am so glad I did. I am a 70yr old man and noticed in my Zoom meetings a tired, old wrinkled face with dark under eye circles. During my first appointment Archana reviewed all my options on what I wanted to fix. She was very patient and explained every step and process. After filler, and a few laser treatments all my friends noticed a vast improvement and said I look at least 10 years younger. I first started coming here when I was a college student in my early 20s. Back then, I lived only about 5 or 10 minutes away, and my skin was honestly a mess. I had a lot of acne, whiteheads, blackheads, acne scars, basically everything. My skin was one of the things I was the most stressed and insecure about. Now, almost 10 years later, I don't really struggle with acne anymore. Of course skin changes with age, so now I come for completely different concerns. I usually do treatments like microneedling, Sylfirm, and other maintenance treatments. Lately I have also been stressing about aging, so they are still stuck with me lol. The biggest reason I continue to come here is that I actually feel cared for. I have tried a few places in LA because Fullerton is honestly far from me now, but the experiences were just not the same. Some places felt rushed, not very friendly, or like they were giving everyone the same recommendation. Here, they actually look closely at my skin and tells me what would be helpful for me specifically. I never feel like I am just another customer. And the staff really makes a difference. Alex at the front is always so sweet, patient, and helpful. Jenny and Sunah are both amazing and have taken care of my skin for years. I have known some of the staff since before COVID, and seeing the same people there for so many years makes me feel even more comfortable and trusting of the clinic. I work full time and live in LA, but I still drive over an hour to Fullerton for my appointments. Sometimes I complain about the drive while I'm doing it, but I keep going because I genuinely trust their skills and the way they treat people. I'm a teacher, and people still mistake me for a student pretty often. I know genetics and skincare at home matter too, but I honestly consider this clinic one of the biggest contributors to how my skin looks today. I'm very thankful to the doctor, Alex, Jenny, Sunah, and everyone else who has taken care of me over the years.

So i told the girl that took the before pictures and applied the numbing cream about this. I used to love this place! I was late today so i had to wait too long to be seen, they were busy (i understood) so i rescheduled because my mother drove me and was waiting in her car with her dog and it was just too hot. when the girl wiped the numbing cream off my brows, it was painful- she pressed so hard that she ripped my transplant hairs out and the site is bleeding. i am still in shock. The area was hurting since i left but i didnt look at it until i got home as we had some errands to run. As soon as i saw the transplant had been ripped out and on my left brow , the site was bleeding, i called immediately to cancel my rescheduled appt . I also told the lady on the phone what happened and she gasped and said "oh no , i am so sorry ". I appreciate that but it wasn't her fault. Id like an apology from the actual girl that hurt me and an acknowledgement of her mistake. I messaged them on instagram and they keep saying she applied gentle pressure and worked there many years. I can guarantee you , it was anything but gentle and the picture shows where the hair is missing and where i was bleeding. I really did like this place and referred a couple friends. I just wanted to share this experience because this type of unprofessional behavior is not acceptable. Mistakes happen! But when they do, accountability is everything without it, trust is broken. Im a very patient, tolerant and understanding person and i deserve an apology from her. I wont be returning. I feel so depressed.

Geoffery at the front desk is always so kind and welcoming, and he made every visit pleasant. I did most of my sessions with Nurse Erika, and she is fantastic at what she does. She's experienced, professional, and always made sure I felt comfortable throughout each session, checking in to make sure the settings were tolerable and that I was doing okay. And even after enduring all that, I never saw much change in my skin. I had started to give up hope on the unicorn idea of finding anyone with a fair price who actually delivered results. In comes Danielle. After contacting Danielle, she was quick to reply, professional, communicative, and detailed in preparing me for our appointment. I had few expectations when I arrived to her suite, but all insecurities and pessimistic thoughts flew out the window when I met her. She immediately put me at ease with her laid back, genuine vibes. Her warm and confident demeanor combined with her unequivocal knowledge of all things related to skin made me feel like maybe this time I had gotten it right. The environment: a not-too-small room that was clean, filled with gentle lighting, surrounded me with soothing music, and contained enough space for her products and a comfortable space for me to lie down. As Danielle began to cover my face in a gel, she explained how she doesn't skimp on products on customers, and that she uses the same high-quality products on herself. I also learned that more gel means she can turn up the heat on the radio-frequency machine in order to elicit actual results without me feeling as much of the heat. These little tidbits educated and reassured me. In fact, she provided rationale to her choices here and there during every step of the way. Her training was obvious, and her inherent love of all things skin showcased her passion for her business. Danielle's interpersonal skills also pushed the conversation forward whenever she sensed I felt like being talkative, or she would let us be still and in peace whenever I would stop talking. I personally found her to be quite good at reading the room and intuitively understanding my needs. I also explicitly asked for more attention on my neck and my smile lines, and she made sure to spend extra time there. Remember how I mentioned a prior aesthetician who only worked on my face for 15 minutes? Danielle did her thing for 80 minutes. Yes. You read that correctly. I believe I was fortunate enough to receive extra time from her due to a longer gap between customers, and she was generous and kind enough to keep adding on services, such as zapping my face (barely hurt!) with more radio-frequency as well as a green light *and* red light treatment. Truly, I felt so pampered and all my stresses melted away when she wrapped a warm towel around my face. The whole process felt like a facial/massage treatment. And the reason for this long review is because when I looked into the mirror, I nearly gasped. I looked like I had l taken a gulp from the fountain of youth. I saw an actual reduction in fine lines and my face was glowing. I also saw my neck restored to all of its former glory. I have never seen such instant change before, and in such a non-invasive manner. Needless to say, Danielle is now stuck with me, her newest loyal customer!
