I came here to inquire about some anti aging treatments. I'm in my early 30s and really enjoyed my consultation with Annie. She was patient, kind, and explained everything very clearly. I asked about ultherapy as I see people on social media go to Korea for that. She gave me honest feedback that I don't have enough loose skin for ulttherapy and didn't try to push treatments on me. She recommended xerf instead, which is more for mild laxity. It's a newer device. She explained that she only does things that are evidence based which I really appreciate as a healthcare provider myself! Annie has horrible bedside manners and is very arrogant. During first visit, she suggested: Prx peel (5x), Botox, lip filler, milia removal. I told her I'm interested. Then she quickly moved me out of the room and to the front desk. Annie said I had to pay total balance of $3150 upfront to book next appt. I told her I didn't bring enough money and she asked how much do you have on you. I said $400. She took it, quickly counted it and said to bring the rest to next appt and left me with her receptionist. I stood there confused like WTF just happened. I had no time to think or ask questions and she had me empty my wallet. I have never been to a med spa before and I didn't know what to expect. I felt like I was dealing with a used car salesman under high pressure. The receptionist said she would email receipt and I never got it. A few days before my next appt, I called Annie and said I don't feel good about you injecting multiple different products on the same visit. As I've mentioned at the consultation, I get adverse reactions and how would you know what product caused the reaction? Very annoyed Annie said it would be obvious because it would be at the site of the injections. She said this in a very condescending tone like I'm an idiot for asking such a dumb question. The chemical peel is all over my face which is also at the site of all the injections so her statement is totally false. I told her I wouldn't just have reactions at the site, I've had autoimmune response that has sent me to the ER before. Again, Annie was visibly annoyed, showed no concerned and reluctantly said "fine, you can schedule your filler and tox on a different day from the peel." When I came for the peel appt, I told Annie I didn't feel comfortable giving her $2700 and she looked pissed. I told her if I have a reaction to the peel, and can't do the remaining 4 treatments will I get my money back and she said no refunds, you receive credit. As a result, I told her it doesn't make sense for me to give you $2700. Once again she ignored my concerned about my medical history and just wanted to talk about money. Annie said I gave you the price I did because it was a part of a "package." Um ok. I never asked for a package deal nor for a discount. I told her the $400 I already gave you covers one peel treatment so why not just let me receive the treatment today to see if I have a reaction or not. Why do I have to give you $2700? Looking ever so pissed, Annie said you can have the peel today but I need to give her $200 for the peel aftercare lotion which would have been free if I gave her the $2700. WTF.... So, I gave her employee $200. They handed me the aftercare lotion. Once again no receipt and no instructions on how to use it. I asked for receipt and she sounded surprised and reluctantly printed it. When I reviewed the receipt they credited me $350 instead of $400 and shorted me $50. Maybe this is why they didn't give me a receipt the first time. It is clear Annie only cares about money. I reiterated my medical history on three separate occasions and she did not care about my health and safety. It is reckless and negligent for Annie to expose my body to numerous different synthetic products simultaneously considering someone with my medical history. I shouldn't have had to fight so hard to space out my procedures but that means Annie would make less money per visit. Annie is very intimidating. Don't you dare tell her no or disagree with her and you better have her money. I don't get how she got all these positive reviews. read more
