I hired Alex to maintain the yard at a property I had just purchased, even though we hadn't moved…read morein yet. The goal was to keep the landscaping in good shape since it was such a beautiful yard. Initially, Alex showed up once and shared a couple of photos, but after that, there were no updates. I received an invoice for the first month, but when I visited the property, it was clear the yard hadn't been maintained properly. When I reached out, Alex first said he had been ill, then claimed he had come by--though the yard showed no signs of any work. The real red flag came when he was supposed to install a sprinkler. He didn't have a long enough extension cord, so I went out of my way to order one and left it on the porch. He said he would come the next day for maintenance, but when I checked a couple of days later, the cord was still untouched and no work had been done. Over the next few weeks, I followed up regularly. Every time, there was a new excuse--issues with his phone, personal matters, etc.--but no real accountability. He even invoiced me for work he said was done the week prior, but I had just installed cameras and confirmed that no one had shown up. Despite giving him the benefit of the doubt multiple times, things only got worse. Eventually, he stopped responding altogether and disappeared. The yard has since deteriorated badly, and everything has died. Do yourself a favor and stay far away. The only time you'll get a response is when he wants to charge you for something. Totally unreliable and unprofessional.

I took PTO for one of them and he was a no show). -Didn't install irrigation valve box -Added dump fees to the estimate after work was done -Collapsed a drain from my side yard, yet to be repaired -Doesn't respond to messages or phone calls anymore -Similar story with my neighbor's yard. Did most of the work but stopped responding and never finished. The sad part is that if he just did the job right the 1st or 2nd or even 3rd time, his work would be 4-5 stars. Seriously, it's like an extra 1-2 hours of his time to make this right.

I was impressed by the size of this nursery, the variety of trees, sizes available for purchase, health of the plants and soil they come in, and of course, Maribel, who has been so helpful and patient while I design my landscape. Maribel helped us choose trees that were within our budget, showed us how to trim them, and helped us with design ideas for our space. When I told her I needed fragrant trees, with small (non invasive root systems), that only grew a certain size, she quickly texted me a variety of choices, then drove us around her nursery showing us all the trees. She's incredibly knowledgeable, easy to work with, and is available always to answer our questions. She makes every member of my family feel special (especially my niece/nephew that have visited the nursery with me). When I show her pictures of what I'm looking to accomplish she can quickly tell me the names and characteristics of the plants I like. She's just amazing!!! I highly recommend Maribel and I can't wait to come back and visit when I'm redoing the landscape in a different property.

They do not stand behind their work…read more Spent over $23,000 on landscaping and construction services from this company less than 2 years ago, and have had terrible service from the moment final payment was made. When Brandon (my contact) told me which plants they intended to install, I told him some wouldn't survive the hot, dry, full-sun location. He insisted they would work, and told me they all had a one-year guarantee. Within three months, when they started to die, I sent him photos and asked that they be replaced with others. Despite promises they would be changed (at least six times over the next few months), they were never replaced. Likewise, the artificial turf that was installed was not installed with enough/the right adhesive and the turf has become a serious tripping hazard. Again, calls to Brandon were met with promises that someone would come out to fix it, and no one ever did. Repeated messages were not returned. Last month an obviously broken irrigation pipe under the tile/artificial turf they installed caused flooding in my yard. When I called the company to ask for someone to come out to evaluate what could be done, Jordan told me Brandon no longer worked for the company. (I guess that explains why my messages weren't returned.) Jordan told me he was Brandon's replacement, and that he would be out in two days to take a look. 10 days later, he came out and confirmed it was a broken pipe, but said my warranty had expired and there would be a charge to repair the pipe. He told me it would require the large tiles and turf to be demolished to find the problem, but he'd send me an estimate. It's been over a month and again, I've been ghosted. I consulted another irrigation specialist who told me that if a pipe underground ha broken, it was likely cracked when it was installed. I hope this serves as a warning for anyone considering paying this company to do landscaping and installation.
