Had two incident in dealing with them…read more (A) when I initially spoke to them about renting they gave me the rental rate, when I called back to reserve they then inform me that there is a $500 deposit for first time renters. Not a problem but would have been nice to know that when I was given that rate. (B) When I picked up the tiller there was debris from the previous renter wrapped around some of the tines the rental clerk took pictures of the equipment after it was loaded but failed to get a picture of this ?? I return the tiller and as they're checking it in here come the red flags. The say oh there's string and wire wrapped around the tines and the kick stand is bent, there's going to be a cleaning fee to remove the string and wire. No mention of what the cleaning fee is. I don't hear a thing from them Tuesday, so I call on Wednesday to see what's going on with the refund of the deposit. This is when things get sketchy and I'm informed that they've deducted $150 cleaning fee and $46 for a kickstand that was bent when the unit was picked up (verified by the pictures rental clerk took upon pickup) at this point I mention that the tines were covered with debris when I picked up the tiller and that we don't have hay nets from round bales or wire in our pastures since this isn't the first time I've tilled them, we till twice a year to break up the hard ground for our rescue horses. They didn't care and stated there was no possible way the equipment could have gone out with the string and wire on it. We are planning on buying a new tractor and implements when we sell our house in the next month, with that said I will NOT be giving WC Tractor that opportunity to reap on cent of that purchase. There are other reviews of their sketchy business practices to warrant NEVER using them again. I'm sure United Ag and Turf, Equipment Depot, Construction Edge or any of the other dealers in the area would be more than happy to assist us and not screw over a non profit horse rescue.

I call sun and told them what happened and asked if they had anything that would cut though rock , yes they replied. Great can I bring the want my hand back to you and put it towards renting the rock saw ? No refund they said , it had been 1 hr ! Well 30 percent off was the best he can do . So $1000.00 for 50' because of these good folks ! Never again there other rental place that help out way better . Move on!

This place used to be a good rental company with great equipment and good customer service, but unfortunately, that has not been our experience lately. We've spent several thousand dollars this year renting equipment from them, and it seems like nearly every machine has had some type of issue. The equipment appears old, heavily used, and not properly maintained. These problems have either slowed our jobs down significantly or made it difficult to complete the work within a reasonable amount of time. I would also recommend avoiding Mondays if possible. Brad, who appears to be handling many of the manager responsibilities since Jeff left, has not been helpful or pleasant to deal with in our experience. I reached out to him regarding an issue by both phone and email and never received a response. Our most recent experience was especially frustrating. We returned a machine just two minutes late and were charged for an additional full day. What made the situation worse was that they did not use the card from the original transaction. Instead, they located and charged a card I had used for a rental several months earlier. After spending thousands of dollars with this company this year, I expected much better customer service and more reliable equipment. Based on our experiences, we'll be taking our business elsewhere and sticking with larger rental companies such as Sunbelt or United. If dependable equipment and good customer service are important to you, I would seriously consider your other options before renting here.

At the time of the party everything was set and ready for the fun to begin and that is exactly what we did, we had fun, we drank (you do not have to add alcohol to the machines either we did with one and one without) we danced and partied. When it was over the machines were picked up and that was that. Start to finish was simple and problem free. Steve was easy to deal with, very friendly and helpful with great follow through. He agreed that the work should've been done sooner and asked to give him a few days to make it right. A man of his word (John Coates) delivered the machine back and the Gator is running top notch. It was going to take three weeks to get it to the bay to get it looked at and the sales guy didn't even start any of the paperwork needed for me to get a new lawnmower. If he would have he would know that I bought the last one straight out. Looking at their prices compared to the actual john deer store I'll rather drive to San Antonio to get a better deal and probably get better customer service.
