I have taken my son here twice, and been pleased with the visit both times. The wait was not bad at all, and the staff was friendly. We had one particular doctor that we thought was so fantastic that we wished she was our regular doctor. The prices are pretty much what you would expect to pay at an urgent care, and obviously much better than at a regular emergency room. They will dispense some medications, which is helpful if you don't want to deal with a pharmacy. They are a great alternative if you have a minor ailment. read more

Y'all I ain't ever left a review before a day in my life because I never feel the need to but when I say that this place is SOOOOOO inconvenient. I had to get something prescribed and they sent it to the wrong Publix (which doesn't even have a pharmacy). After requesting it to be sent to the correct Publix pharmacy multiple times (which is located 1 light down the road from them), and waiting 15-20 minutes, I had to drive all the way back for a note to give to the pharmacy which took an additional 10 minutes (not including the drive time) How are y'all gonna send my stuff to a pharmacy that doesn't exist??? I came here this morning not even 30 minutes after it opened and had to wait over two hours to speak to a doctor, even though the waiting room had only two people waiting for COVID tests. When I finally was able to see the doctor the entire visit was less than a minute long and told me I had to see a specialist because they didn't know what it was. There was no trouble shooting or tests to rule out any possibilities and I was still charged a copay just to be told to go somewhere else. It's disappointing to have to write this review considering I have been going her for almost 6 years, as well as taking my children and husband there. Last night I went at 7:00pm, signed it, got taken in right away with only two other rooms occupied. Once the doctor came in (almost an hour later) I told her the blocked ears and sinus issues I was having along with the horrible cough which I believed was bronchitis she said "well we don't do anything to treat bronchitis anyway, all we can do is give you cough medicine but let's take an X-ray to be sure." She walked away and I was sent back to X-ray. When she came back she said well scans are clear, I will write you a scrip for the cough and if things get worse come back. I said what about the sinus? Oh try saline. She was so Uninterested in helping me I was disappointed, I grabbed my script and walked out because she was the only dr there. I dropped off the script and when I picked it up, it was a pill for the cough, no antibiotic, nothing. By this time they were closed so I called back first thing in the morning explaining what happened and how in the past they had always prescribed me an antibiotic and this dr said they do nothing to treat it. They apologized and said she would have the dr look over my file and someone would call me back. Hours later I got a text from Walgreens that I had a prescription ready for pick up, an antibiotic. No call, no verification of that's what I needed from the dr, they simply went off my file which was probably inaccurate considering the first doctors last of concern. I will never go back here and it's scary to think how many patients were treated as such. ER Doctors should be ashamed at how this was handled! Peoples health is in your hands and your total disregard for it is unsettling. read more

I don't normally write bad reviews, but I think the public/ other consumers need to know before coming to this Urgent Care. First of all, they advertise themselves as having ER Doctors in the urgent care, well, there was no ER MD when we went to this Urgent Care Center. I took my son on 12/28/17 for diarrhea x 5days and redness on groin (ingrown hair folicle). My son is well hydrated, no obvious weakness. He took anti-diarrheal at home but no success. We waited for 2hrs!! and worst, there was another patient the came after us that they called in the clinic first, she didn't seem to be in distress or anything. I thought that was not fair! The staff apologized but, they should have not done it in the first place. There was only 1 nurse practritioner that day- tall, short hair lady. She did not took time to evaluate my son. She sent us to the nearest ER because she said there's nothing she can do for the diarrhea and the groin and that my son 'may need and acute care'. I was not happy hearing this, considering I also work in the medical field. So I heeded her advise and we went to nearest ER Dept at Palms West Hospital, the ER doctor gave my son Flagyl and thought that the redness in the groin will go away with hot/warm compress ( which it did!). They asked for stool sample at the ER but my son could not go, so they sent us home with a Flagyl prescription and an order for Stool sample. My son's diarrhea stopped the next day, just like that!!! and if the nurse practitioner at ER Doctors could have spent time with my son, she could have treated him the same and I could have avoided a hospital bill of $1,060.!!!! The ER Doctors at Urgent Care charged us $92 for visit where they did not really do anything!! read more

This emergency medical center worries me. I had an accident and they gave me some stitches and some staples. I had an appointment a few weeks later to get everything taken out, and they sent me home. But it still hurt so I went back and it turned out that they left some of the stitches and staples in there. Then I had to go back there a second time because they still left some of them in there. They kept trying to charge me again and gave me a really hard time about it also, actually making fun of me for complaining about it still hurting! When they finally fixed it for good they said that the other doctors are no longer there anymore. Seems like they have a lot of turnover. read more

So thankful for this place , I injured my shoulder at practice needed an x-ray and it had to be reset. Your doctors got in superquick took me straight back for an x-ray and the doctor even made sure the entire time to reassure me because of how nervous I was. If I had gone to the hospital for this injury I would've probably been waiting over two hours and paid over thousand dollars in medical bills. So glad I went to ER doctors!!! read more

I went in for an infected nail. I asked if they could possibly numb it and pull it off because it had gotten so infected and swollen. The doctor came in and told me "not to be hardcore but just because you want us to pull the nail off doesn't mean we're going to. And also just because you don't want the salon to do it doesn't mean it's our problem" Then went on to say that it wasn't a medical problem to get my nail taken off. Oh I guess I'll just go to my mechanic next time my nail is infected and pussing uncontrollably. So rude, for no reason. Oh and I paid $60 for her to be totally miserable. Thank you Julia. read more

I went back to the same place I have been going to for over 6 years! I have never been treated as rude as I was today. I am feeling awful, fever, severe sore throat, achy, congestion, can't breathe well. I am the kind of person that waits until the last minute. This place has always taken good care of me. The Doctor told me I was negative for strep and the flu. She said she was going to put me on steroids. I told her the last time that happened I did not improve for over a week and is there anyway she could just give me a z pack. Whenever I have had that within 24 to 48 hours I feel better. She said that I have only felt bad for a couple of days and if I still feel awful in a week I can come back and she will prescribe it to me then. I said to her respectfully that I really want to feel better as soon as possible, she got angry and said I guess your the MD now so I will prescribe you what you want. "I am done with you" and she walked out the room. I said "why are you so angry? I am just asking questions?" I asked her if she is prescribing anything else? She said no you only get a z pack! I have a fever and if other medications would help that would be great! I told her again I just want to feel better . She was so rude and I guess in her world asking a question is questioning the Doctor and that is not allowed. I waited over an hour, they ran several tests. It is my belief that they believe in minimizing the antibiotic they prescribe and allowing a patient to just feel miserable until they shake it,hopefully. I don't think it is necessary to prescribe antibiotics to everyone that doesn't mean that no one should receive it! Most importantly patients who are feeling awful are going to ask questions and if you can't handle that maybe this is not the right job for you! I never demanded anything, I just said that I don't love the idea of being miserable for another week and then go back to get the antibiotic. No one would want that. I should not have to write this. Am over 50 years old and this is only my second review I have ever written. Shame on this place!! Won't be going back. read more

I recently saw Dr Harry Romero at ER Doctors Urgent Care @ Palomino Park Wellington and I was very disappointed in his professionalism as a medical provider. He lacked the interest in attempting to diagnose why I visited the UC. I basically told him I think this is what is wrong, and said well that seems about right, follow up with your primary care if it doesn't work out. He then offered medication for my self diagnosis and said well if the meds doesn't help go to your primary care. read more

Worst experience ever. Four people in front me. Waited 2 hours to see a dr. Dr saw me for 30 seconds and gave me a prescription. Told them the wait was crazy with absolutely no response but a dirty look. Simply rude all around. read more

This is a place to avoid. On this visit we arrived and the place was empty, yet I waited at least 30 minutes. I asked a few times what was happening and I was told "the staff where looking at something in another room". As always one is asked to pay in advance and the rate is reasonable and thus I paid as requested. Finally I was taken in to a room and an assistant told me the "doctor" would be in soon. After yet another wait a tall nasty lady arrived and talked to me for a few minutes. She decided I need to go directly to the hospital. I tried to ask her a few questions but she just got up and said "I would get my money back as I had waited so long" she then refused to answer any of my questions turned her back and walked out. The next day the reception called me and demanded payment for additional services I never received. When I left the clinic to go to the hospital I did not take the time to stop and get my money back. So they now have my money that I was supposed to get back and they want money for services I never received. Finally a manager got on the phone and said a mistake took place and I was right I do not owe any additional money. I was not happy with all this waste of my time and being accused of owing money so I asked about the refund that I was promised for the long wait and no service, the manager now said no. Ok, I have been misled but a few days later a bill showed up in the mail for the non-existent extras. These people are thief's. The worse part is that I found out that the nasty tall lady my so called "ER Doctor" was only a nurse. Wow I paid for a doctor and got a nurse and I was never told. So I was sent to a hospital without any exam or assistance buy a nasty nurse. You must avoid this place... read more

Sports injury, needed an x-ray - the tech guy was fabulous, reassuring, and professional. Glad I went there. Quick response time.

Took my 88 year old mother in for fluid in her lungs. Diagnosis upon leaving was pneumonia. I'm presuming that the woman who come in to get information was a MA because she would be a discrase to the nursing profession with her lack of compassion and concern. This young woman with short black hair and a tattoo on the right side of her neck had a curt, nasty attitude. She was irritated because my mother didn't have a primary care physician. Did a lot of non-verbal huffing and puffing. She acted like we were imposing on her by coming to the clinic. In my opinion no one should be teated like this. After all, my mom being there as a patient pays her hourly wage. Now the female physician was WONDERFUL! Concerned and interested in providing care to my mother. Wish she had her own practive. I give her a five star rating. My advise to the group is get rid of employees that aren't interested in helping people! read more

Complete misdiagnosis of injury, in spite of imaging results. Not a contusion, as diagnosed by incompetent ER Doctors Urgent Care "Dr. Harry Romero", but a broken bone, as confirmed by a specialist 2 days after their critical error. Stay away! read more
