When I went to Fantasy Raceways I was welcomed and it was nice to just run your car, no judgment, just have fun. Also picked up a few tips on car construction and setup from other guys there. Even though its still an hour drive for me I'm looking forward to getting into this hobby a bit more, fun without any plans on being a top competitor. I can't say enough about how gracious and helpful Jeff, the owner, is. Even if you've never run a slot car, this is an activity and venue that you can enjoy without a lot of cost and clutter.

I put my slotcar on the track, and I might as well have been moving backwards, as the newer cars were much lighter, due to the magnesium chassis and super-thin bodies. The arcade games are wonderful and the proprietor is very friendly and helpful. The last time I visited, my daughter and I took back break and bought food from a restaurant next door. A lot of fun games but not every game is a ticket giving game so be mindful. Some are just experience. The Godzilla VR (16 chips) was pretty funny and cool to watch! *if you download the app and sign up, you get 100 free chips when you purchase $25 (100 chips). First they did the arcade games. There was a good variety of games. Games were like 4-10 tickets per game. The cards our aunt got for the kids had like 40 tickets each. The kids blew through them FAST and unfortunately didn't win many tickets. Enough for a few made in China crappy plastic toys. The "wow zone" or whatever it's called wasn't open. That looked fun. Next a few of the kids hit some balls in the batting cages. Lastly came a round of mini golf. The kids picked the course on the far right. It was the first time our kids played and they loved it. Our Aunt got some pizzas and sodas. The pizza was surprisingly decent. I honestly wasn't expecting much. The one "comment" was that all 3 pizzas looked over cooked/burnt. Mostly I appreciate their commitment to operations. Street shoes come off near the front door to avoid tracking wet salty water all over in the winter. Automatic gutter guards are available for kids. The approaches have always been clean. There are plenty of entertainment options here besides the bowling including a TouchTunes jukebox, arcade room and food and beverage options. Overall, this is a more lively and fun place to bowl than, for example, Roseland Bowl in Canandaigua which is closer to us. Also, at least as of early 2026, 3 games of open bowling costs about 4.5 dollars less per person than Roseland Bowl.
