So, coming to this office was such a refreshing experience. First and foremost, it started with me setting up my appointment. The gentleman whom assisted me, I believe his name was, John, and he was so incredibly friendly. I think he was overwhelmingly one of the reasons why I had the best vibes about switching from my previous dentist office to this one. Once I arrived, I knew that I'd made the right choice. May I begin by saying that I loved how neat and clean the office was presented, and it smelled delightful! The front desk receptionist, Lincoln, checked me in and she was super nice and welcoming. My dental hygienist, Rachel, was THE BEST! I enjoyed talking to her, and she was so gentle super friendly! Dr. Lee was wonderful as well. He was thorough while completing his oral examination of my teeth and mouth. I had a concern about one of my teeth, and Dr. Lee and Rachel were so great in their assessment of my teeth before giving me their professional advice and opinions. I greatly appreciated their honesty and insight. When Rachel was finished with my cleaning my mouth felt so clean! When I arrived, I was told they either wouldn't use it or "most likely" wouldn't be able to. That kind of last-minute change is not a small detail--it completely changes the experience for patients who rely on it. What concerned me more was the push toward procedures that didn't seem necessary. I was referred to an oral surgeon to remove a peg tooth that does not need to be removed, even after I clearly said I wasn't interested. It was still put on the referral anyway. I was also told I needed multiple crowns, but another dentist later confirmed those were not necessary. There were additional treatments presented in a way that made them seem required, which didn't sit right with me. Another issue was transparency. I was not walked through my x-rays or shown where any of these supposed problems were. Patients should absolutely insist on seeing and understanding their imaging before agreeing to treatment. There were also inconsistencies with insurance information. I was told my insurance wouldn't cover panoramic x-rays, but another dentist had no issue getting them covered. After my visit, I noticed similar concerns mentioned in other reviews, which unfortunately aligns with what I experienced. Between the inconsistent communication and questionable treatment recommendations, I left feeling very uneasy. I would strongly encourage anyone considering treatment here to get a second opinion before moving forward.

I already knew about them because my sons go here, and we always have a good experience. They were able to see me the same day I called, which I really appreciated because I was in a decent amount of pain. I saw Dr. Khanna and she is probably the gentlest dentist I have ever encountered. She was knowledgeable and kind, and explained everything in a detailed way. In the end she found no specific cause for my tooth pain, but she recommended several possible solutions which I tried, and the pain has stopped. She also referred me out to a specialist to make sure there was no tooth fracture, rather than just opting to do a root canal. I appreciated the timely and honest care that I received from Dr. Khanna. Thank you!

My first experience was absolutely wonderful, from the lovely staff, the clean state of the art facilities and the exceptional care Dr. Zinger provided; I didn't even know when she administered the Novocain. My repair experience was fantastic and I would absolutely recommend RZ Dental if you are in the market for an amazing dentist/dental practice. They do not do well at supporting patients with sensory issues or dental anxiety, or conditions like TMJ that make dental visits difficult. With new patients they are kinder, but with every visit I have made they have become less supportive and less accommodating. My last cleaning was extremely unpleasant and I was shamed into not taking breaks over the course of multiple procedures and fittings even though holding my jaw open causes my TMJ to flare. Then there's the high-pressure upselling. For several years, the dentists and hygienists at this practice have been trying to get me to buy a dental-grade night guard out of pocket, even though I had an over-the-counter one I had been happy with. I finally agreed because they told me it would help my gums and that I would face severe consequences if I did not "make the investment." I had to pay $750 (!!!) out of pocket. When the night guard arrived, it was so bulky and uncomfortable that I could not get a good night's sleep in it and I woke in the morning with severe jaw pain on both sides of my jaw. I went back to have it adjusted and suddenly I was being told that having a night guard means sleeping with your mouth open and accepting dry mouth, that jaw pain often gets worse at first, and that I would have to accept some bad sleep in order to become accustomed to the night guard. I cannot stress enough that this was NOT disclosed to me prior to when I made the purchase. Since the practice knew about my sensory and dental anxiety issues, I feel strongly that they should have talked to me about what the night guard would be like before pushing me to buy it. When I explained the above, the practice offered me only a partial refund, which would mean that I spent hundreds of dollars on nothing. I feel my trust was taken advantage of and I would encourage others to look for a different practice.
